Lewiston Veterinary Clinic was established in 1947 by Dr. Klaus. He was joined by Dr. Richard Campbell in 1962, and Dr. Clair Sauer, an MN graduate, joined in 1965. They worked out of an office building that was located on Main Street and then moved the practice to its current location in 1981. The clinic continues to grow, and in 2000, the small animal addition was completed.
The clinic is well-equipped to cover large and small animal care. Today the clinic is owned in partnership with Amerivet Veterinary Partners, Dr. Brett Flathers, Dr. John Fritts, and Dr. Karen Lorch.

This veterinarian clinic is wonderful. I made an appointment for my dog and we were seen very quickly. I liked the vet who examined my dog and the technicians were just as nice and helpful. All these people were pleasant, helpful and answered all my questions. I am extremely satisfied with the care my dog received.

Thank you to the fantastic staff at Lewiston Vet Clinic. Their skill and professionalism is top tier! They dealt with my poodles bowel obstruction surgery with a skill and reassuring calmness that put me at ease, during a very stressful time. I would recommend them for all your vet needs! Congratulations to you and your staff for being the pinnacle of your profession.

Thank you to Lewiston vet for everything you guys did for us this weekend for our dog Windsor. It meant so much to our family to have such a caring staff, and help us through this hard time. Especially a big thanks to Karen and Morgan for doing everything they could, and letting us stay with Windsor, and also thank you Karen for checking on Windsor, and letting us say our final good byes.
