I don't recommend this clinic at all. They had messed up my scheduling and then couldn't accommodate me for a another appointment until a week later. Another thing, every time I call them, I get hung up on and they were just rude, everyone was rude and unhelpful. They told me to do the research what dosage of medication my dog needed instead of asking a doctor or someone else. Frankly, they can't be trusted because I took my dog in for a check-up and I am pretty sure that nothing happened because it was a first check-up to get to know the vet but they didn't diagnose conditions and he died. And they were expensive for how this turned out.

We adopted a kitten from humane society. We noted that she had dandruffs. We sent her to the vet for an examination to make sure she was healthy. We dropped her there and they called us to pick her up less than 10 mins (which was surprisingly fast for physical check plus shots). They said everything looked good. BUT we found that she had ear mites, AND parasites a month later. NOTE that she was the only cat and kept indoor all the time and didn't eat any raw meat since we adopted her.
Then we called their office again and asked that we thought there was parasites and what should we do. All they said were that we need to pay a full examination fee again PLUS a lab test for parasite, before they gave any treatment. We called another vet, and described the symptoms. They confirmed the parasite issue and advised us to buy like a $14 med from Pet store.
That $14 solved the problem. First, they shouldn't have missed the ear mites and the parasite symptoms when they did the physical exam. Second, they were all about money and don't really care about the animal.

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. In my 42 years of life there have been a handful of people who emanate kindness, compassion, caring, and patient. You can sense it in his voice. Words can not even do justice to how amazing this man is. I have a puppy who has been sick for quite some time, as a new puppy mom / nurse I can be overwhelming. Not once did I feel anything but compassion from Dr. Jacobson and his staff, they have all been so wonderful. I can tell everyone who works there loves animals and wants nothing but the best for them.

I absolutely love this clinic as well as Dr. J and his staff. From the very first time walking into their doors back in 2013 with my daughter's dog nothing but compassion and kindness from everyone and Dr. J explaining everything in a way that we could understand. To most currently moving back with my puppy and daughters dog it was like we never left.
Very professional and kindness from Dr. J and his staff again explaining and answering questions in a way we understand. Would highly recommend this place for your 4 legged babies

Could not be happier with Dr. Jacobson & his staff! Everyone was so pleasant, helpful & professional! Dr. Jacobson is a wonderful caring vet. He takes the time to explain what is needed for your pet's care. I could not be more pleased with Jacobson Veterinary Clinic! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

I had to make the heartbreaking decision to have my dog euthanized. Dr. Jacobson was extremely honest and realistic about the situation I was faced with. He in no way encouraged nor discouraged any of my options. When it was time to part ways with my best friend, I was able to put my arms around her and tell her how very much I love her and to say "hello" to some people and pets on the other side. Dr. Jacobson was perfect.
He let us have our long goodbye and it seemed like it was just my dog and I in that moment in time. He told me exactly what to expect and told me at exactly the right moment to tell her "goodbye". It was heartbreaking but Dr. Jacobson was exactly what we needed and I'll never go to another vet or recommend any others. Dr. Jacobson is the most wonderful human and I'm proud he cares for my furry family members. There isn't a better Veterinarian anywhere. His staff are absolutely wonderful as well.

Expensive. 4 new photos added. Estimate for dog spaying and what was actually charged.
Expensive. Charged a $35 office visit each time when going in for shots.
Called 4 other offices and none charged an office visit for shots or boosters. He Gave Strongid-T (For the removal and control of mature infections of large strongyles) to my puppy regularly even though she had been tested at 8 weeks and regularly after that & she did not have worms or parasites. Questioned by 4 vets I checked with when shopping around for a new vet. Copies of 3 invoices are included. Now have a new clinic that I am going to where they combine boosters to save you money and offer other cost saving ways of taking care of pets.

We took our dog to Jacobsons Vet Clinic for 7 years while we lived in Lincoln. Our dog always got great care and the cost was always reasonable. Our dog is 14 now and in good health for his age. We moved to San Diego and after almost a year of trying we finally found a good vet. Because of the great care our dog got from Dr. Jacobson we have really high standards. I recommend this vet clinic very highly.
