I could say anything that could explain to people how amazing Porterridge is. They treat you like family. They treat your pets like family. Dr. Porter is one of the smartest people I have ever met. If it seems this review is too good to be true, it isn't. We had a very sick kitty and our then vet told us to put him down. A friend recommended we bring our kitty to Porterridge.

We did, 6 years ago. They gave us 6 more years with our kitty which was such a blessing. They are a blessing to animals and humans alike. We have even adopted 2 kitties from them that they saved. I have attached a pic of one of them. Thank you to Dr & Gwen Porter & your amazing staff. I'm so happy our other animals get to see you too.

Dr porter actually let's you come into the office with your furballs.& he was Wonderful with my cat. Roadie has never had a "good" experience at the veterinary offices and if I'm with him. I can keep him calm. highly recommend his clinic and he's Extremely reasonably when you get your bill! Thanks staff for great experience!

I took my GiGi in today after picking her up from Urgent Care Pet Hospital because of parvo. They recommended to take her to a different clinic, but was referred to Porter Ridge instead. I must say that never will I go anywhere else. My baby came home and finally ate and started drinking fluids again. I’m amazed how quickly she’s getting back to normal after seeing him. I’m very hopeful she’ll be 100% herself soon thanks to them.

My pup was not eating for a couple days and acting weird, I called and they got me in right away even when it was busy. I had amazing care and they are very knowledgeable on what is best for your fur baby. Highly recommended Dr Porter and his coworkers. They make you feel right at home!

I was familiar with the Ashland Clinic after my vet retired. After experiencing problems with my pet, I needed an experienced, trustworthy, and caring vet. Dr. Porter truly cares about care of animals and actually reads them during the visits - truly a pet whisperer! I recently referred a friend who is exceptional pleased with his care as well. I know my pet is being cared for by staff that knows about her health requirements. I would give more stars if I could!

Few years back had to put my boyfriends English Bulldog Chopper to sleep due to cancer and I was extremely close to the dog so I took him in, Dick and Gwen both stayed with me and we prayed over him and stayed there until he was gone!! They are the best ever !!
