We are a full service hospital, offering vaccinations and basic preventative care, up through complex surgical procedures and everything in between.

Each veterinarian and team member is deeply committed to the health and well-being of your pet. We love animals as much as you do! We also offer some preventative care to horses, goats, and other small hobby-farm animals with advance-notice appointment.

Staff Report

Dr. Charlie Stoehr is the senior veterinarian on staff. Plattsmouth is his home town, and he was raised on a farm on the Platte River, and educated in Plattsmouth Community Schools. After securing his BS and DVM degrees from Kansas State University in 1966, he returned to Plattsmouth and established the Plattsmouth Veterinary Clinic P.C.(now named the Plattsmouth Animal Hospital P. C.) in downtown Plattsmouth.

I've gone here about a year and they've been incredibly helpful every time I needed them, both with my 1 year old puppy and my 13 year old puppy. Their prices (especially for dental) are much more reasonable than those I've been quoted for in a couple omaha clinics as well!

All of the doctors here are fantastic. We live in Bellevue and choose to use them instead of vets closer to us. Dr. Plucker was amazing with my very ill dog. She called and gave updates every day while he was being kept for treatment or had the other doctor on staff provide updates. They were always cognesent of the medical charges we were incurring while providing treatment options. I can't recommend them highly enough.

While it might be a little out of the way my wife's family and our own have taken pets here for many years. It is very easy to make an appointment and pick up pet meds. They are also very good at providing medication and appointment reminders.

I highly recommend this clinic. I have always received great care for my three dogs. The prices are SO reasonable and Dr. Plucker is the best. She does a great job of explaining things and coming up with a care plan. I recently moved and had to switch vets and have not been impressed - to the point that I road tripped back with one of my dogs to get some dental work done.
