All the staff was very helpful from the financing to the care of Miles. They even explain step-by-step for the medication give it to Miles. I appreciate them very much. I would recommend this place to everyone . A solid clinic for your pet

I appreciate the time, attention and care that was given to Ellie regarding her allergies, our first visit to this clinic. I was given multiple options with the pros / cons of each, in addition to being made aware of a rebate program for her allergy and heartworm medication.

I have 3 cats my male really hates vet visits. Arielle, the vets, is patient and slow and even tho with meds he was still hissing and growling she got everything done and checked and he is back home resting. Im so very thankful for her and the staff.

I brought in a dog that had been hanging around our ranch for three days (I posted her found on every site I could find) and when I brought her they scanned her for a microchip and went above and beyond to contact the microchip company, get the owner contact information and allow us to reunite Zelda with her family. Please microchip & spay / neuter your pets.

I was nervous about going to another veterinarian but I'm so glad I did. I feel like my dog got the attention he needed and I felt assured that my dog would get the right care. The techs calling the next day to check on my dog was such a nice touch. I am so thankful I brought him there.

So I you are looking for a great veterinarian that Dr Farmer and his wife are awesome! Unfortunately their office has been bought out by a big Corporate so good luck getting your pets medication when needed. They don't sell heartguard and make you go through a their process so you can get medication from their expensive pharmacy. I once bought my dog's needed medication for her illness there and they charged me 5 or 7 dollars per pill. I went online and found it for under 2.

Dr Gregg Farmer is the best. We took our 12 year old cat Bogie to a vet that was located closer to our home bc he was losing a lot of weight. They did all sorts of tests and removed some bad teeth but he didn't improve. Took him to Dr Farmer for second opinion and found out he was diabetic and had thyroid issues. We changed his diet per Dr Farmers instructions and out him on thyroid meds and he's now back and healthy running up and down the hallway again.

The other vets office charged me a lot of money for tests (and retesting) which they did "in house" but they never recommended anything or said blood results showed any problems. They didn't really know what the problem was and said "we will just keep monitoring" Our family has been going to Dr Farmer for years- he's a super vet - really really knows the science of animals and animal medicine -we tried new vets after a move but we will be staying with Dr Farmer going forward. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Greggs made me feel so much better about by misbehaved cat. He told the time to listen to all my concerns and made me feel like a great pet parent. Our neighbors recommend the practice to us and we will definitely be referring to others!

I brought my 18 year old kitty here expecting him to be put down he was in such bad shape from a month of UTIs, dehydration, hyperthyroidism and what I thought was declining health from old age. Dr. Farmer is the most knowledgeable and informative vet I have ever dealt with before. He advised my cat had an extremely dehydrated lower intestine and put him on fluids and appetite stimulant.

I know my boy won't last forever but here we are 2 days into at home subcutaneous fluids (dr. wanted to get him home asap as did I) and he's actually bouncing back and feeling so much better. I never would've thought my baby could come back around like this and they didn't overcharge me or make me feel taken advantage of throughout their services.

The sweet vet techs even let me visit him while he stayed 2 days in hospital and took plenty of time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable about administering his meds- just so appreciative of their care and understanding. Wish we found this vet years ago. Please keep up your awesome work- it really shows you all genuinely love helping animals and their people.

My cat Dara was suddenly throwing up, and I called six places trying to find one that had an appointment available. Animal Medical Center did next day, and as a new patient they took care of my cat and treated her well. I am so glad to have found a reliable and good vet for my cat. The vet answered all my questions and was very patient with Dara. As a new resident to Austin, I am so glad I found them!

Scheduling was fast and easy. Front desk staff is friendly and so are the nurses and veterinarians. I'm new to town so I'm glad I found this vet clinic.

For the past 13 years, Dr. Farmer has been taking excellent care of my four pets (two dogs 13yo and 10 months old and my two cats 8yo and 2yo). He is a knowledgeable, compassionate, honest and affordable veterinarian. My pets love him and I always feel confident that they will receive the best care in Dr. Farmer's clinic. The rest of his team are also fabulous! I will 100% recommend Animal Medical Center

Everyone was nice. I got an appointment for the day after I called. When I got to the appointment, there was no wait and we were in and out within 45 minutes with an evaluation & treatment plan.

The vets at this facility really show compassion and professionalism. For several years, my pups bounced from different vet clinics in Austin that were constantly upselling and overcharging while rushing you in and out, and this is by far the best we have found (and stuck with once we did). I feel the pricing is affordable/fair and the vets all take time to explain to you their diagnosis and treatment recommendations while not making you feel like a terrible pet parent if you don't or can't do everything at once. They also do price-matching on Rx's which is very helpful.

I decided to call after reading some reviews. I called woth tears in my eyes and knots in my throat after hours and hours of making the terrible decision to put my Baby of 14 yrs to sleep to end her pain and suffering. My Daisy is literally days away from taking her last breath so I wanted to ease her pain and let her go peacefully. I was told they would get back to me about getting us in today.

I received a call back and was told that next available appt would be Monday. My baby isn't going to make it til Monday. I really thought that they would have made time to take us in today but instead they said next available on Monday. No empathy no sympathy, nothing. So much for the love and care in helping our pet.

I had been trying in vain to get my dog into an appointment with her "regular" chain vet. I managed to get an appointment, they cancelled on me. I was told I could schedule a month out or come wait for a walk-in appointment and maybe spend the whole day in their office and not be seen. I was frustrated to the point of tears watching my little dog in pain.

I went to AMC's website, requested an appointment as soon as I could manage. They called me and confirmed the next day. She went and was extremely well cared for and managed to charm her way into many selfies. The only way I could be happier is if she hadn't needed to go in at all. I almost don't want to write this, so I could keep her new vet to ourselves, but good vet care should be for all.

They take great care of my three dogs. Can be slightly difficult to get last-minute appointments, but that's probably just because they do such a good job that everybody wants to bring their pet here! If I am having an emergency or need a same-day appointment or an appointment within the next day or two, I'll usually go somewhere else, but these guys are still my preferred choice for vet services!

We have been using the wonderful Vet's and their fantastic supporting associates for well over 10 years now. And I can't say enough good things about these wonderful folks. You will just have to go and see and talk to them for yourself. But you will not be disappointed. They have helped us and all of our children with their pet needs as well. So please check them out, I highly recommend them.

I've received good care for my Mastiff. They will see you that day or the next depending on the situation. I am happy with this vet.

My dog went here for probably 10 years until I moved away from Austin. He was always in amazing hands, even through some scary bouts of pancreatitis. Can’t recommend the Farmers and this facility enough!

Took my cat in for a *free* dental exam after his mobile vet said he probably needed a cleaning & possible extraction. They were great with my 17 lb feral kitty, despite his growling & general pissed off demeanor. After the exam I was given a quote for dental cleaning, x-rays, & extraction (if needed - they didn't think it would be). Their quote was HALF the cost of other vets I had consulted. And did I mention today's exam was FREE, even though we've never been there before? I'm a fan.

They were so kind to squeeze our cat into their schedule when we were having a hard time getting an appointment at another clinic. All of the staff here is wonderful from the front desk to the techs to the doctor. Very caring & professional and they charge fair rates. I highly recommend them.

My neighbor recommended Animal Medical Center to me after I was struggling to find a vet I liked for my dogs after moving to Austin. The technicians and front desk staff are fantastic, they're so nice and helpful. My dogs saw Dr. Newman who was amazing. I'm very particular about vets and any vet my pets see has to be thorough, competent, and spend enough time to get to know my pets and their history. Dr. Newman immediately won me over because she contacted the specialists my dogs saw in Ohio, reviewed their medical records, and asked me relevant questions so she understood what they needed.

My dog Tucker was my baby and he had a serious heart issue. I felt comfortable trusting Dr. Newman with his care because she's so thorough. Sadly Tucker died in March from his heart disease. During the last week of his life the entire staff were so compassionate and accommodating. I trusted Dr. Newman when we talked about options for Tucker and felt comfortable with my decision to end his suffering.

I opted to do in-home end of life services through DoorstepVet rather than in the clinic but felt supported by the vet team through the whole process of losing my dog. There was a lot of ugly crying and they were so nice and supportive. Dr. Newman and all the staff there were amazing helping my other dog, Winston, who had severe anxiety and allergies.

He was really struggling with losing Tucker and Dr. Newman recommended getting a kitten companion. I didn't really want a cat but my dog had regressed a lot with his anxiety and behavior. A cat was exactly what my dog needed! My dog has a very strange and loving relationship with our cat and she's a great comfort to him. I highly recommend Dr. Newman's services because she is a caring, thorough, and competent vet who will take great care of your pets.
