The staff here is always fantastic and helpful whether it's over the phone or in the office. The vets are knowledgeable and kind. They don't push treatments that they aren't sure are necessary and always give you options and potential outcomes for whichever you choose. I've taken my cat here for about three years and now taking a new dog as well. It's also very clean and organized inside. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a great veterinarian office.

Even though we had a bit of a wait after making an appointment, the staff was very kind and helpful. They really let you know what your dog needs and advise against certain procedures even though it would make them more money, if your pet doesn't need them. They truly put your pets health before anything else.

Absolutely loved the vet who gave us multiple options of treatment. Prices were very reasonable and the techs were all really sweet.

First i want to start off by saying I think this vet does a very great job treating illnesses but have a long journey to make for improving their service. Very pricey vs other private vet clinics. When I requested pet records for my puppy, they gave me something that looked like it was typed up that day. I find that unprofessional and my puppies insurance did not accept the document.

I took my puppy elsewhere and they provided me with a puppybook where I can track my puppies vaccines and they gave me access to professional medical records that at least had dates on them. I would consider Capital Vet in the future if they decide to enhance their procedures and client services.

Capital clinic is open by appointment only. You can only get an appointment by calling the day of to schedule. The phones were busy and impossible to get a call through even after calling 17 separate times after they opened at 7:30AM. Would not recommend due to poor customer service experience. There are much more efficient ways to do online scheduling in the 21st century.

Over the years I have seen all 3 vets and received wonderful, caring service each time. From routine exams and care or illness with my dogs, to checking a stray cat, to the sensitive time of euthanasia, I have always felt my animal was in great hands and the entire staff cared about my pet and my family.

Great vet, thorough, actually listens to all issues and symptoms and addresses all my concerns. This has been my favorite vet I've found in Austin, Dr. Sanders and Dr. Sanders have always been very kind and helpful.

Every single person at this clinic is hands down professional, friendly & knowledgeable. The Vets are amazing. Techs are amazing & Font desk staff is so kind & professional. Very friendly knowledgeable staff! They had my dog in and out and ahead of her appointment time at that. They were able to help us and at a very good price. Can't beat that! Thank you all so much. Happy Holidays

I have only used Capital Veterinary Clinic twice, but I'm sold. They are so quick, professional, kind, affordable, knowledgeable. I'm over the moon with how great they have been. I have 5 dogs, and two of them had issues that needed to be addressed ASAP on different occasions. CVC took the time to chat and ask questions when I was booking the appointments and had my pups seen same day.

I was blown away by how quick they were. And both my pups made full recoveries. I will be bringing all 5 of my pups to CVC for their routine visits moving forward. So happy to have come across this clinic.

My dog had oral surgery performed here that required two additional surgeries elsewhere to correct. I tried to see if we could work out a partial refund, but I was warned that it'd get tied up in litigation. I will refrain from rambling and going into too much detail, but I strongly recommend you find another location if you're in the Austin area. I wish I would have.

I have been taking my pets to Capital Vet for 20+ years! They are kind, caring and take awesome care of all my pets. From tiny rats, to big horses, Capital Vet has you covered!

Very satisfied. Although we were not allowed to go inside they kept us informed the whole time. I've always been more than satisfied with their services.

Capital Vet is incredible. The vet techs and vets are the best in Austin. They're always happy to see any of my 3 girls and I trust them all completely. Couldn't be happier with any and all services.

Awesome Staff. We have been taking Gibson to this vet clinic since he was a puppy. The staff is friendly, fast and works hard to make the experience smooth and non-stressful for your pet. Highly recommend.

Urgent Care for Pets: when I adopted Toby from APA! I noticed he had a skin rash. Every vet in Austin is completely booked out at least 3 months in advance. I called them very early in the morning (at 7:30 am) to get a spot for my puppy. Granted, I called them without exaggeration 57 times before they picked up, but I was able to get the help I needed and Toby received so much care and healing.

The most excellent vet I have ever encountered. The staff and Drs helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. Thank you for taking care of my fur babies: MikoBoodle and Calypso. Couldn't thank y'all enough.

Capital Veterinary Clinic came highly recommended to us from a family member. We had our 7 month old cocker spaniel neutered yesterday and got his cherry eye fixed for an extremely reasonable price and with a wonderful veterinarian team! After several disappointing vet appointments at other places in Austin and Buda, we have found our veterinarian home!!! We cannot brag on Capital Veterinary Clinic enough!!! So glad we found them!!!

Clinic was clean, reception was helpful and quick. Vet took his time and let us know our options and explained everything very well. Highly recommend.

Amazing staff and atmosphere!! Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate how quickly I am able to get my cat seen. Dr.Scroggs is our favorite vet. He is amazing at what he does. I recommend this vet clinic to everyone I know. And they're walk in based so it's real easy to get in here.

I had an emergency today and several people told me to go to this vet clinic. I am so glad I did. The staff was incredible, the Dr. was so caring, kind, and very thoughtful with the exam. The cost was much less than I expected, that I almost cried paying for it. I was prepared for the cost to be so much more. This place is fantastic. Thank y'all so much!

The whole staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Kimbrough was so gentle and kind with my dog, and Delilah was more relaxed and comfortable than with any other veterinarian she has ever seen. We will be back for all of our veterinary needs as long as we are in Austin.
