Best Vet

Best vet is really the best vet. I was recommended by a friend several years ago and I'm so grateful. Dr. Bob has been in practice a long time and is very knowledgeable, which is very important when choosing a doc for your fur babes. It's not a corporate vet so they don't try to take your money every opportunity they can. Prices are very fair, and no unnecessary treatments have ever been suggested, forced or given. Dr. Bob and his staff are amazing!

We first brought a dog to Dr Bob (old office on other side of Anderson Mill) at a shelter's recommendation over 15 yrs ago when we rescued a shih tzu dog in very bad shape, matted hair, ribs showing & needing attention. Dr Bob pulled a couple of rotten teeth, neutered him for a reasonable price & told me he might be ok without pain meds (always an option) & he was!

He became my trusted vet who diagnosed our adult cocker spaniel correctly with (sudden onset) thyroid problems affecting her skin when a reputable neighborhood pricy vet had been telling us "allergies" & giving us shampoos & creams that helped NOTHING for months! We moved away for years & tried other vets, but ended up driving back to Dr Bob. He's intuitive, respectful of my concerns about over-vaccination of small pets (huge, repeated standard size large dosages) and very knowledgeable.

Our shih tzu pushed through a wire fence & injured his eye very badly at about age 12 & we asked Dr Bob for options & he gave us plans to try to save the eye through a worst-case estimate if we had to remove the eye, no rush. We were able to save the eye and were grateful to have the whole picture, just in case. We are thinking of a new rescue pet (that shih tzu passed 3 years ago at 16+ years) and hoping to go to Dr. Bob. Honestly, I don't trust any other vet - read his philosophy. He follows through with it-your pet is like his! Rare.

Dr. Hardy is the best! Staff are so friendly and understanding. For a long time I was dealing with an allergy reaction on my dog's skin, going back and fort to two different vets to find the actual cause. Dr. Hardy was so helpful during the process!

We've been going here for almost a decade. Prices are fantastic, pets are healthy, staff is quick to accommodate your random requests that would otherwise reduce their income (aligning all of the vaccinations on one visit a year, etc.). Calling them to schedule can be a little challenging- lots of hold times as they're juggling arrival calls with scheduling calls, instead of having a separate line for those. But generally we're happy!

We absolutely love Best Vet. They care deeply and are super affordable. Our cat needed surgery to remove his teeth, and it was under $400. We looked at other places and it was ridiculously expensive. Dr. Bob is quirky, funny and very thorough. Absolutely 1000% recommended.

I brought my dog to best vet and was greatly taken care of by Dr. G! She was very helpful and resourceful! I feel better about my dogs health after my visit. She worked within my budget and took the time to explain all the details I needed to further take care of my pup. She was very informative and patient answering any questions I had. It was truly a phenomenal visit and feel very comfortable going back in the future. Highly recommend this clinic! 5/5!

If you are looking for an honest vet who cares more about your pet than your money.look no further. Dr Bob is truly to hero when it comes to caring for our fur babies. Super personable as well as his staff. I am so grateful I found him ten years ago. I have been to other vets when I needed to fit in asap and they don't even compare. He is very knowledgeable. They were able to get my puppy in for a same day appointment. The staff and doctor were all amazing. They were so kind, caring and professional and the cost was also very affordable. I highly recommend and will be returning if needed in the future.

Best Vet was recommended to me by a close friend and I am Very Glad she gave me the recommendation! I wish they had weekend hours/emergency hours but as long as I can get my fur baby Jup to them for a further check up even after an emergency visit, I will feel secure doing so again if needed.

Best vet I've probably ever gone to! From reception to kennel tech to the service and checkout I had received; everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. My dog is also healing extremely well and fast due to how well the doctor was able to preform the surgery; so thank you so much for taking such good care of her!

The wait was very long but I was told It's just one of those crazy days so maybe it's a rare occurrence. Also, I should have been told on the phone when I made my appointment to call when I parked in the parking lot and that it wasn't a 'walk your pet in' situation right now due to Covid. I started taking my dog out when I stopped an employee and asked if I just bring in my dog to which he replied no and to call their phone number to let them know I was there. The veterinarian was friendly and gave me good information so I appreciated him very much.

The clinic's exterior may not be much to look at, but after (over)paying at another vet to figure out what was wrong with my cat over the course of several weeks and many vet visits, Dr. Bob identified that my poor kitty was suffering from none other than allergies. Who knew cats could be allergic to their environment, just like humans? (Well, I certainly didn't.) And compared to the other vet, the fees here were fair and affordable, so my cheapest vet visit was also the most successful because by the next day, my sweet little boy perked right up and became his old self again, thanks to Best Vet.

Not only was Dr Bob knowledgeable, he took his time explaining the diagnosis in detail and his staff was just as wonderful. Knowing that I was desperate for a second opinion after too many vet visits that didn't really help my cat, the person who answered the phone tried to fit me in that same day. When I was there, the vet tech was personable and took time to understand my cat's medical history and current condition, and after the visit, I received a call from the office to inquire about my cat's progress. I would highly recommend Best Vet to anyone looking for the best care for their fur babies.

Our dog Daisy ran away. The person who found her took her to Best Vet on Anderson Mill. She was well taken care of at Best Vet When she got to the vet she had a fever of 108 so they gave her an IV and gave her some emergency meds to get her back to normal temp. We will be switching from our current Vet to Best Vet. They have an awesome team of people working at the facility. Daisy is resting happily in our home now and we couldn't be happier with the care she received.

Took my dog Sage here after a bad experience with another vet. Sage is a shelter rescue and can be a little shy, but, Jose, the vet tech was super accommodating to her and she warmed up to him almost immediately. Doctor Bob took the time to explain everything in detail and was really kind and caring. I would recommend this vet to anyone.

Service and care exceed expectations. The phone is always answered in a friendly way. Wait times are minimal. Vet techs, phone/office staff and Veterinarians are very friendly, patient and helpful. Staff members are never condescending and really try to work with each situation to care for pet "kids" and accommodate pet parents. Also, the exam fees are very reasonable!

Dr bob is great. The female doctor here has poor bedside manners and is abrasive. But other than that I've been coming here for years I love everything about the place. Prices are great the doctors and techs really care. And I feel like my babies are well taken care of.

Horrible and could not even diagnose what was wrong AFTER they didn't even check her out until the END of the day. Picked her up after paying a ridiculous fee, and still had to go the emergency vet where she ended up passing away. If possible to give less than one star I would.

This office almost let my dog die outside in the parking lot as the staff sit and pointed and laughed when my 18 yo ran out of gas in their parking lot.5 feet from their door. Their office manager because I called and complained has only banned me from coming to the office anymore. Wow! How nice is that! If you value your pets, this is NOT the vet for you! Why can't I leave a 0 star review?!

You guys are the best! You are the only ones who made it your utmost importance to see my pets. You didn't even know, as for I am a new client, but you made it urgent to see my pets when no one else could even try and make it a priority. A thousand thanks and I will recommend you to everyone who has a loved one who needs true care. I believe that you do what you for passion more so than profit, and that is what it should be about. Dr. Bob and his staff are amazing. I've brought both my dogs to him for well visits and the one had been in a couple times for health scares. The office staff and techs are always very friendly and professional. At time where other vets would have told me to go to the emergency vet, Best Vet always finds time to see us. Dr. Bob is incredibly knowledgeable and truly has the best interests of your pets in mind. I 100% refer anyone I know looking for a vet to Best Vet.

I rescued a little kitten who is very malnourished. Vets are crazy busy right now. The Dr and technicians were very friendly, helpful, and graceful enough to let me bring her in. Very kind people, great price. I really appreciate all the work they did for Olive and I.

Incompetent! If you want a vet whose staff is incompetent then they are the vet for you! I have been using them for 4 years and defended them to my husband but no more! I am done!

I could not have had a better experience with Best Vet. They were practicing social distancing but still managed to make me feel in the loop. My bunny is very scared around other people, so Dr. Bob's calm demeanor was exactly what she needed. Thanks for keeping my animal healthy and happy!

I was a client of this clinic for 15 years with my 3 dogs and always was happy but this year the situation change dramatically The front desk just rude and prices for service got rased twice They wouldn't give u any notification about the new prices and you can't check it on a web site because it simply doesn't work u come to appt and clinic just. simply charge u twice compare what u pay last year and when you ask why reception tell in a rude manner that it is a new price I think after 15 years of being a loyal customer I deserve at least notification about changes in the price list (simple dental cleaning without any extractions for 4 years old shih tzu was 600$) It is really sad I like Dr. Bob but because of his staff I have no choice to leave the clinic

Don't judge a book by its cover! This place may be nestled in between a couple of businesses in a small strip center, but this is seriously the best vet I've taken my dog too! My 9 yr old chow mix was diagnosed with a pyometra on a Friday night at an emergency vet (unfortunately best vet is closed on the weekend) and they quoted me $3,000-$4,000 for the surgery.

I didn't have that kind of money just sitting around so I kept her there overnight ($560) and took her to another vet who agreed to do the surgery for ~$1700. Long story short her blood platelets were too low to perform the surgery that day so I kept her there overnight ($1300) to try and get her counts up. Monday morning Best Vet called me, without me reaching out to them, and agreed to do the surgery for less than $500.

It was a risky surgery since her blood platelets were still low but Dr. Bob was completely honest and upfront about her risks, cost, and his opinion about moving forward. I checked her out and scheduled surgery for that week. She has made a full recovery and is doing better than ever. I will forever be grateful to the doctors and staff at best vet for saving my fur baby! Highly, highly recommend this place for an honest and knowledgeable staff!

I love Dr. T Hardy like a close friend. She's seen my pets through the best and worst of times. I now travel 30 minutes just to have her take care of my almost 13-yr-old dog. Her heart is huge, and her bedside manner could not be any better. We are so grateful for you, Dr. Hardy!

AFTER SEVERAL YEARS HERE WE ARE LEAVING: The staff here is fabulous and they all show how much they care about peoples pets the male doctor I feel brushed me off. My cat had an odd bump on the back of his head. I brought him in a second time because it had grown and the doctor reluctantly biopsied it. They let me know iT was benign and didnt have to be removed.

Several weeks later I scheduled for a follow up because it had grown significantly and was crusty and oozing. The doctor seemed annoyed and frustrated that I was back and said it doesnt need to come off but if I want it to come off then I could spend the money and sedate him. Long story short I took him to the Cat Hospital on Pond Springs and got their opinion.

He ended up having it removed because the oozing caught an infection and showed me he had two cavities. Turns out the lesion was a dialated pore and true it was benign but was causing him pain because it was ruptured. I dont think this is a bad place for routine care unless something comes up. I believe they will never over charge you and are very fair in most of their assessments. Maybe I caught the doctor on a bad day or maybe he prefers to treat pets other than cats.

The best vet I've ever had! Staff is amazing and always do their best to accommodate me when I need to make an appointment. Always give you options on how you want to proceed. Staff is great with my moody calico who only likes things her way. My other cat is a frequent visitor but is always well taken care of!

They spayed my rabbit and the operation and recovery were smooth with no problems.

This is a long overdue review for my fur baby's dental cleaning & extraction that was performed at Best Vet. I chose this place due to its cleanliness, staff friendliness, and doctor reliability. During the initial consultation exam, they printed out a detailed estimate, and a vet technician explained each line item with me which was very helpful.

The surgery was performed in May of this year, and I am happy to say that my 11 year old fur baby fully recovered in less than 2 weeks and is doing great. I was nervous at the time due to his age, but am so glad that I went through with this procedure. While most of his teeth are gone now, he still enjoys eating dry food. Thank you for being so compassionate, and treating my pup with such great care :

I recently had my very senior 15 yr/old boxer euthanized here (and she'd previously been a patient). The staff and vet were so incredibly kind and made a very sad situation bearable for me. They treated my old lady and me with so much respect, and they also did a stamp/imprint of her paw after she had passed and included it with her cremated remains for no additional cost.

They also included a condolence note signed by all of the staff. I continue to take my other two older boxer boys here, since the vets are so good and my dogs (who normally hate going to the vet) really like coming here. The vets are really great, and the staff is also amazing. Prices are more than reasonable, and the vets are very straight forward and don't push you to pay for very expensive (and usually unnecessary) testing.

Awesome vet. Went in for annual shots and one of my dogs had a hotspot. The vet did not try to upsell me on meds he gave me good old fashioned advice. The spot is already looking better just keeping it clean without expensive drugs.

Dr. Theresa was able to work my little lab/pointer mix, Zeus with an eye injury on very short notice. We showed up for our appointment and were in and out in less than 30 minutes. (I wish I would have gotten the assistant's name as well, she was great) They (the entirety of the staff) were very gentle with Zeus and made sure to keep him comfortable during the exam. With his medication included, the visit cost us less than a tank of gas for my wife's SUV. Thank you guys for taking care of my Zeus!

I brought my 15-year-old Chihuahua in to get it a growth removed from his foot. Something was done incorrectly during that procedure by the doctor. My dog's circulation was cut off to his foot, and his foot began to turn black. I brought my dog in to be euthanized, knowing that the doctors "opinion" was amputation. He was an older dog and that. did not seem like a humane option.

To let a blind, aging dog receive an amputation. NO. But instead I was talked into the amputation and out of the euthanasia by the doctor. I was made to feel like I was being selfish by not offering my dog this chance to live. Reluctantly the amputation was done, my dog was sent home with me only hours after the.

We absolutely love Dr. Bob and the staff at Best Vet. It means so much to me to have a vet who talks to my pups and puts them at ease. They are wonderful with not only my puppers but with my 3 year old who loves to say hello to all the animals in the office. Highly recommend Best Vet!

Hello everyone, we went to Best Vet last Saturday and had the vet there do Bulgarias tail, we had requested 2", when we got home and measured, it is 3" in length.
