Our veterinarians also offer consultation opinions based on ultrasound or radiograph images sent to us, or from a thorough discussion with your regular veterinarian about his/her findings. These opinions are available for you and your veterinarian to use to determine the need for a surgery/treatment therapy, or career decisions for your horse.

Board-certified surgeon Jose Bras, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACVS will be the surgeons on-call at the clinic. Ashley Embly, DVM, and Jen Jordan, VMD, Dipl. ACVS, are currently providing ambulatory services in Wellington. Board certified theriogenologist, Dr. Stephanie Walbornn, is now associated with the Wellington practice and is able to take care of all your horse's reproductive needs while you are in Florida.

The tour was amazing! I took my daughter (13) and she found it so interesting. It's amazing on what they all do there at their location. Watching the surgeries was super cool. It is worth going and taking in all they have to show you. They do amazing things there and glad they are able to help the animals in need. The tour guide was very informative and knew her stuff. It was an amazing tour and probably take it in again in the future!

Our tour at Rood & Riddle was a truly enlightening experience, and lucky for us, we were the only visitors that day. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and spent almost twice as long with us than the one hour advertised. We were able to observe three surgical procedures, including x-rays taken during the procedures. We toured the entire hospital complex, and interacted with staff in various departments, including farrier and genetics.
The expanse of the facilities and services was clear and we took it all in. As a bonus, we met Dr. Rood! This is a must see tour. It's unique and the work done here is important. THANK YOU!
