A professional, friendly and very caring place. They have handled all stages of my different pets lives. When my elderly cat developed cancer, their end of life care was exemplary and above all, kind.

Grace Animal Hospital was fantastic. We got an appointment the same day. Both Camper and Waylon where at ease with the staff. They knew just how to gain my boys trust and solved their needs on the first go around. Easley the best trip to a vet for us. They are now my go to vet for my boys. Thanks Grace!

Dr. Akers saw our German Shepherd, Athena, today and was very thorough. We couldn't be happier with our experience. Her tech was very helpful and kind. The office staff very kind, the office and exam rooms were very clean. I would highly recommend them.

Making that life decision is one of the hardest things I have gone through. I could not see my 15 year old coonhound (who I've had since he was 8 months), suffer anymore. And last Saturday, I needed to make that call , and even on short notice at one hour before closing, the Grace staff and Dr. Hunt was able to take him in and treated my dog with so much compassion, and made him and myself feel at ease during that last stage of his life before traveling . The cremation package I received was probably the most beautiful I have ever seen and brought me back to tears when I opened it. Thank you so much for your compassion.

The vets are so caring and make sure you don't have any questions. You can tell they really care about your pets and any concerns you have. My dogs love seeing Dr. Lyons, Dr. Hunt, Dr. Davis, and Dr. Williams. We've always had a good experience with each vet we've seen.

I wish I could tell every single person Ik to not go here. I brought my cat here just to get neutered and it left me crying and traumatized. I went to pick him up after being told everything was all good and he's ready to go home. They came to the car and gave him to me in his crate and he looked very loopy and in pain. Got home open the crate door and he's hemorrhaging everywhere.

He crawls out and he can barely move with blood clots on the floor saw three clots before rushing him back he was there for about three hours up until they closed of course and they came out and said he was still bleeding but gave him to me anyways and just gave me the emergency animal hospital number which is 40 minutes away from me horrible place. I would include pictures but they are gruesome and I don't want this taken down!

We have been taking our dogs to Grace Animal Hospital for about 2 1/2 years now. Very friendly staff. No trouble getting appointments for sick visits. I've met most, if not all, of the doctors and they have all been great. We boarded our dogs at their Pet Lodge recently and the dogs seemed good when we got back. My only complaint is that a staff member said she would text us pictures while we were gone and that never happened. But I understand that maybe something came up and she couldn't do it for some reason. We would board there again.

Grace Animal Hospital has exceeded all my expectations. I am a first time puppy owner and they are always kind and willing to answer any questions. They are also understanding and do not judge if my questions seem silly or I seem over-concerned. Would recommend to ANYONE in the midlands. My dog LOVES going to the vet and I can't imagine that would be the case if the staff did not love on her.

Grace is amazing! They have compassionate staff who are always willing to help when I call with an issue. Even if I can't get in immediately, they are great about offering other options or trying to get me in at a later date. I really appreciate them being so awesome!

We picked this vet when we moved here. Our first visit was great. Then one of my Shitzu's had an eye problem and needed to be seen. The receptionist could not create less and said their was no appointments today and she would see about next week. She could not care at all about my dogs eye or us. No professionalism or care about customers or animals and even suggested we take her somewhere else. Will never be back and use them ever again.

Dr. Dover and the staff went above and beyond during our dogs knee surgery. We were so thankful for their care and attention to detail. I could not recommend them more!

They are quick, efficient, caring, and they don't run unnecessary tests. They showed compassion with both my dog and with me. I can't say enough positive things about them.

Absolutely amazing! I switched from my previous vet (needing somewhere closer to home, turns out it's the same distance as my previous vet but better!) Dr. Dover is the best. Very polite and thorough. Staff is great. Highly recommend!

We had our first experience at Grace this week and not only did my pups love it, but their vet tech and Doctor both worked to ensure my questions were answered and they went the extra mile to make sure my pups were healthy and on the right track! So thankful we found GAH and Dr. Lyons!

So thankful that our dogs are patients at Grace Animal. My dog Scout became very ill over the course of the day, and despite being extremely booked, they did not ask me to take them anywhere else like an emergency hospital, they made accommodations for Scout and got him all the meds he needed before the weekend. They saved me from spending $1000s at the emergency vets, and I felt great knowing he was in good hands. We love working with Grace

Today was my first experience with Grace Animal Hospital. I was very pleased with the care and consideration the vet techs and the vets gave both me and my dogs. The clinic was clean and cool (70 degrees). The room in which I waited with my dogs was large enough that it didn't feel claustrophobic. The techs were very patient with my pets, going above and beyond to settle my female's anxious nerves.

I left the clinic with full knowledge of the medication that was prescribed. I feel confident that my dogs will be well taken care of here. I also appreciated being listened to when I expressed my concerns and when I asked questions. A big thank you to Dr. Bailey, Dr. Dover, Vet Tech Jen, Vet Tech Savannah and Vet Tech Brittany.

I took my Lucky for a check up. I found a lump on his right side. Dr Williams was great. She checked it and said nothing to worry. Her Assistant was very nice too. They both made me feel comfortable. He is schedule for teeth cleaning next week. See you soon. Thanks!

We have used Grace Animal Hospital for years! In fact, we have adopted 2 beautiful, healthy cats from Grace. Our first dog, Abby, was a patient for at least 10 years and our second dog, Cooper is now a patient. The facility is absolutely beautiful and very clean! Everyone at Grace makes us feel important and appreciated! I think they truly value our patronage and they honestly care about our fur babies. Dr. Tim Loonam is top notch!

Not only is he a brilliant vet, he is so compassionate and he makes me feel like I am such a good dog mom! He is always available to answer questions or just to give me reassurance that it's all good! In addition to the hospital, we have also benefited from the daycare and boarding department and I can speak firsthand that the facilities and the staff are amazing! Cooper absolutely LOVES going to Grace! Seeing Cooper get so excited when I pull into the parking lot is the only reassurance I need to look no further for care for my beloved pets!

One of my dogs has an infection and a ruptured mass so I called on Friday to see if we can get an appointment, they told me to call back on Saturday at 8am to get one their sick appointments. I called 8am sharp no one picked up, called again it is now 8:02am someone picks up I explain what I am calling about her response was let me take a look at your chart and then proceeds to tell me that there are no more appointments available. Hmmm what?

It is now 8:04am you just opened we had been on the phone for 2 minutes and you tell me that there are no more appointments available? I am sorry but I don't believe that. Then she recommends that I call Well Pets in Irmo. Really? I have four dogs in their care, I have spent thousands of dollars there on operations for my dogs and you tell me to call another Vet? I am beyond disappointed.

Our dog Shadow had ruptured a tendon in his hind leg and had surgery late January. Very impressed with staff instructions for his recovery, follow up appointments and overall look of the surgery site. Love our vet

We too have been going to this vet many years and our dog had an emergency at 4:00 on Friday afternoon. We begged them to see us and they refused. We spoke with a vet and begged him to see our dog as well, and he very rudely told us "he did not make our dog sick". No compassion from him or the staff. We will be pulling our dog's records and finding another vet immediately.

Grace has been my vet for over ten years and I trust them completely. They have saved my dog's life and help keep all my pets healthy. The service has always been top-notch and attentive. During this Covid-19 crisis, businesses have to do their best to keep safe which is difficult for everyone, my last appointment required me to wait longer than I have in the past while the staff concentrated on all appointments ahead of me. I know the staff at Grace is professional and compassionate, they have proven this to me and most of my friends who are also clients. Keep up the great work Grace!

I've been going to Grace for a long time but recently got a new kitten. I am thrilled to say that Dr Loonam amputated his leg back in May and he is doing amazing! This clinic is constantly busy so they've had to adjust a lot during Covid-19 like curbside and over booked appointments but the staff has handled it amazing and their level of care has not weakened. They went above and beyond on my kitten and followed up multiple times to check on him. I can't imagine going anywhere else!

I have been a client of Grace Animal Hospital for many years. My oldest baby pup had an emergency this morning and they refused to see him. I called Another animal vet which I have never been to. They immediately took him and and he had to have surgery from the accident. It really breaks my heart that Grace did not care enough to even look at my fur baby

5 Stars for Dr. Dover today! It was our first time at Grace Animal Hospital with our fur babies Trooper and Wilson. Dr. Dover is so nice and I was extremely impressed with the thorough Wellness Exam he gave to both dogs. The building was very clean and they are adding on more examination rooms to meet their clients needs. Grace will definitely have our business in the future!

We are new to the area and I called to get our dogs in for their yearly exams. First, I left a message, which was never returned. Then, I called back and spoke with someone that was very rude. This woman had no desire to help me and was so cold. All I wanted was an appointment which I couldn't get until the end of the month unless it's an emergency. I understand that an appointment was not available, but she was not kind or compassionate at all. She pretty much said, sorry bye bye.

The boarding service took excellent care of my diabetic cat at Super reasonable rates. Will deff be taking her back for our next trip. The only con is its a bit far so making it by the drop off time was tricky.

Need to share my terribly disappointing experience with Grace Animal Hospital and Pet Lodge. I took my dog there a few weeks ago in regards to an allergy that she had that wouldn't go away. They did a great job diagnosing her and prescribing a steroid that seemed to work well in clearing things up. Because of the success of the steroid, after speaking with the owner/vet, Dr. Loonam, I was told that I could come pick up a prescription to continue the steroid any time before 6 PM, as that was their closing time on weeknights.

So last night, I RACED through terrible traffic and terrible weather to make the nearly 45 minute drive there after work. I arrived right at 5:57 PM.only to see the doors closed and the lights off. No one was inside.oh, except for the ABC Columbia news crew that they had in there, filming and giving them great free publicity while they ignored a paying customer who had arrived prior to their stated closing time.

So I sent an annoyed email, saying that they could either a) compensate me for my wasted time by discounting the prescription and subsequently keep my business, or b) take the lazy approach and send the prescription elsewhere, thereby losing my business. So I get a call from them today.not only do they say that they'll send the prescription elsewhere, not only do they ridiculously say that discounting the prescription would be "paying me, " but they justify their customer service lapse, by saying "Yeah, they left a few minutes early.

There was no one there, so they went ahead and left." If you state your closing time is 6.if your OWNER SENDS ME AN EMAIL SAYING THAT I CAN GET THERE BY 6. YOU STAY OPEN UNTIL 6. I have worked/managed in sales and customer service for over a decade and a half. If you close at 6, you close the doors at 6. If a customer walks in a 5:59:59, you close WHEN THAT CUSTOMER IS DONE.

You certainly don't close BEFORE that time, and then make a customer feel like they are the fool for expecting that you would honor your commitments. This seemed lost on the employee from there that called me. So, if anyone has a vet to recommend, please share. I have one to certainly NOT recommend.

After caring for our pet for a substantial amount of time & forming a doctor-patient relationship, we were very disappointed & shocked to receive a letter unceremoniously severing any further treatment for our geriatric dog, especially during this critical end-of-life stage of our beloved pet. Hence, this leaves us with many unanswered questions & general confusion, & undoubtedly isn't very professional nor part of any form of 'Best Practices'.

Because veterinarians are viewed as professional conscientious care-givers committed to the protection of animal health & the relief of suffering, AND based on past conversations & interactions during our relationship, we had a reasonable expectation of palliative care for our geriatric dog until the end-of-life/euthanasia stage. Apparently, the degree of their commitment & professionalism is very weak. Additionally, the reception staff is very evasive & vague about answering detailed questions regarding medical treatment costs.
