Our History: The Eagle Creek Animal Clinic has been a well-established practice on the west side of Indianapolis for many years. Dr. James Baughn, who had practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Indianapolis since 1972, founded the clinic in 1982 with himself as the only doctor and one other staff member.
We are located less than a mile off of I-465 and just across from the Eagle Creek Airpark on the west side of Indianapolis. Founded by Dr. James Baughn in 1982 with only three staff members total, the Eagle Creek Animal Clinic has grown and expanded through the years to have four doctors and a full team of support and medical staff.
Eagle Creek Animal Clinic has a long history of responsible citizenship. We have tried, and continue to try, to run our business so that it benefits both our local community and our environment. Over the decades, we have participated in events with the Indy Fever, the Humane Society of Indianapolis, Jamison Camp, Special Olympics Indiana, and many others.

I had a good experience with this vet. They are thorough and I feel confident in coming back. My cat was calm when they gave her the deworm pills and said she needs to loose weight. I agree just didn't know how to do it. I'd been feeding her Iams healthy weight food. They advised Rx ID Hills brand for her diarrhea and vomiting. She's actually eating it. I started her on 1/3 cup ea Iams and Hills so she could stomach it. Overall I'm happy.

Had an 11:00 appointment. Pulled up and a sign said to call the number to check in. Called the number, they said "You're checked in and we'll call you when it's your turn." 30 minutes later, with my pet in the car, I get the phone call! The took my pet in gave him his shot, and brought him back out in LESS THAN 5 minutes! Why did I wait 35 minutes for something that literally took less than 5 minutes!
There weren't any other customers, because I was the only one sitting in my car waiting! The place is locked down and doesn't allow customers inside, just their pets. To top it off, when they brought my pet back, they asked if I brought a stool sample. I said No, I didn't know I supposed to do that. Well, that stool sample is going to cost $60, JUST TO MAKE SURE that whatever shots and procedures they did to my pet, worked! So, for the shot and to shift through feces, it was going to cost me $100. Unbelievable!
This place is all about hustling pet owners out of their money. They play the love you have for your pet directly into their pockets. They have no respect for you or your pets. All about them Dolla Dolla Bills Y'all. $400 to have your pet spayed or neutered. Other places charge you $60-$80; you do the math. Can't wait to see how much their going to charge when I tell them I want all the records for my pets.

In August 20 21I first came to Eagle Creek animal clinic with my miniature schnauzer, The first visit we did the normal wellness check. The records from the previous vet were brought along and Dr. Wright should be called Dr. wrong, she completely reversed every thing that the previous veterinarian had been treating my beautiful schnauzer for. She change the dosage on her medicines recommended that I change their food farm hills science diet and blue buffalo to Alpo and Purina.
Well four months later and $3500 and they're still telling me my dog needs to be tested again before they will give her her medication. I explained that they're going to have to give her two or three more months of medication because I just cannot afford to make the mortgage payment on their building. Dr. wrong said she cannot do that and would not give me refills on the medication unless I came in and paid for a visit, so that should tell you something that it's not about compassion for the animal it's about compassion to make as much money as possible.
This doctor cannot be over 25 years old and needs to gain quite a lot more experience in her field. Here it is February 6, 2022 and my schnauzer is on her deathbed and I'm probably gonna have to take her down here to the emergency room and max out credit cards just to save her life. Thank you Dr. wrong I will never recommend your place because it is about the money. You people should be ashamed of yourself and anybody that thinks they care about your pet believe me you're wrong they care about your wallet!

Always have gone to the Eagle Creek Animal Clinic for the last 20 years. Love the vets and employees, however with our recent visit I feel that we were nickel and dimed by being charged $5 per dog for an OSHA fee. When asked what this fee is for, they said it was to cover supplies that they "may" use. All that the dogs got were one shot that they were due for. The cost of all supplies for a shot should have been included in this shot, not additional fees for something that they may or may not use.

Dr. Foster and Dr. Allen are great vets. My elderly cat was very complicated and required a lot of care in the last 3 years of her life. They gave her a great quality of life and kept me informed during every step of the way. Even during the mess of 2020 they went above and beyond for us. I've never had a bad experience with their staff, always friendly and eager to help.

I have been taking my two cats to the Eagle Creek Animal Clinic for more than 10 years. Their team has the expertise and care for my pets. Dr. Foster has been top notch expert diagnosis, care, and health plans, especially important as our pets get older. This team is wonderful, with the animals and their humans. I could not be more pleased. So are Harry and Dexter

We were a very rare case. I brought my dog in for what seemed to be a false pregnancy. Little did I know.she was actually pregnant AND due less than 24 HOURS! (Dog mom of the year.) With little time to prepare, they were quick to give me all the information I needed and recommendations for an animal hospital. We returned the next morning with a puppy.
They squeezed us in last minute (everyone else was booked) both days. I don't know what we would have done if we weren't able to get in when we did. Dr. Allen and the staff were so helpful during this process, and it was an overall great experience. THANK YOU! Christina, Pippy, and new baby Tokki
