Cheyenne West Animal Hospital

I have been to Cheyenne West Animal Hospital twice now with my two dogs. I saw two different vets: Dr. Adams and Dr. King. Both were very personable, easy to talk with, and spent time answering my questions. The vet techs seem very nice, and the front desk staff are friendly. Another plus is the price for vet care seems quite reasonable. I have already referred a friend to Cheyenne West. I am happy to have found this animal hospital.

Clean facility, organized operations, well educated staff. Highly recommend. They also have an in house pharmacy to fill prescriptions which is super convenient

I've been going to Cheyenne West for a few years now and have always been extremely happy with their service. They are very friendly and thorough during appointments, and take the time to explain what they are thinking and outline any options I may have for care of my dogs. They are quick, punctual and all around a fantastic vet.

Have seen multiple vets here for our dog. I've been happy with all of them. Friendly, knowledgeable and they take the time to listen. I trust them with my pet. Office is clean. Front staff is friendly. I don't live very close to their location but it is well worth the drive.

Dr Hewitt give us all the information needed and the peace of mind we needed prior to Bowie’s procedure, respond to all of our doubts and provided us with additional information in similar situations, great service and treat our boy like his own.

I recently had to put down one of our puppies. Everyone from the front desk staff to the tech to the doctor was so loving and warm during this difficult time. I highly recommend and thank them for their kindness and consideration during that process

Took my puppy in for her 3rd set of shots today, and have a weird little bump on her shoulder checked out. Aside from being a little tired and grumpy she's fine, the bump was just her microchip that had moved. In 72 hours she can experience grass for the first time, which should be fun. One more set of needles to go then she can play with other dogs according to the schedule the nice people at the hospital made for me. Thanks

I cannot praise this veterinary enough. From the front desk to Dr. Hewitt himself, the staff, service, and organization is a well-oiled machine. Your pet would be lucky to have this veterinary office on their side.

This is the best vet I've been to in Vegas. I've been coming here for about 2 years now and I have not had one single issue. All vets working here are amazing, as well as their assistants. They do not overcharge for their service and are always so amazing at explaining everything to you. You will feel comfortable leaving your pet here because it will be in the best hands! Vets are usually a stressful experience for both the owner and the pet but people at this place will definitely make the experience a lot better!

This is a competent, caring and compassionate place for your animals' care. The entire staff is warm and attentive to your needs as well as your pets. They have a pharmacy on site as well as other needs your pet may require.

Brought our lab in for a nail trim, it was quick and easy! The vet tech and receptionist's are always friendly and helpful.

Cheyenne West is the best. They are wonderful with my girls. I would recommend them to anyone especially somebody who has an animal that is more challenging to work with. They take the time and the care to take care of all of our Fur babies

I had an absolutely wonderful experience! I had a "scare" with my cat 2 years ago during surgery, so I was referred to see Dr. Hewitt at Cheyenne West. My cat's surgery was a huge success, and on top of that, the staff and Dr. Hewitt himself called me throughout the day to let me know the progress on my cat's surgery. Dr. Hewitt is throughout when he speaks with pet owners but also has an excellent bedside manner. Thank you so much for helping my cat!

Dr. Brian Hewitt is top-notch, just the absolute best! As a cat sitter and feline behavior consultant, I know how hard it is to find quality care from individuals who truly understand the uniqueness of cats. This is so important to me and one of the reasons I was so thrilled to find Dr. Hewitt. He loves all animals but it's clear from the moment you meet him that he truly loves cats and understands them.

In addition, Dr. Hewitt has practiced in Las Vegas for 30 years and is the ONLY full-time board certified veterinary dentist in Las Vegas. He and his staff have a wealth of veterinary dentistry knowledge. Furthermore, Dr. Hewitt is very responsive and communicates thoroughly with you on your cat's case before, during and after surgery. There are several follow-up appointments as well (included in the original fee) to ensure there are no issues following surgery.

To summarize, all your questions will be answered at the consultation. You will feel comfortable that your beloved pet is in excellent hands and that he cares about him as much as you do. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hewitt for your cat/pet's dental procedure.

My dog's tail was wagging through the whole checkup. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The service was affordable. Their advice was helpful. I highly recommend Cheyenne West for your family's best friend.

Our 6 month old puppy broke his leg and Cheyenne West staff were so helpful and kind throughout the process. Like all vets the prices are hard to handle but the service is high quality. It's clear that everyone from the front desk staff to the doctors care genuinely for animals. The doctor has always taken time with us and was even willing to answer questions about puppy biting and how to help curb it with our boy Tuck. Very professional and caring!

I started bringing my 2 dogs and 3 cats here when I moved to Las Vegas 3 years ago. They are always very professional and I can tell they love animals. Even our Lucifer, who definitely embodies his name. Thanks for all you do keeping our fur babies safe!

After I called the office, the doctor called back and discussed Maggie's fear of the fireworks and prescribed some meds for her. Last night was awful as the fireworks lasted until after 1am, but the meds did their job. People are very inconsiderate of others and their pets. Shame on them, and on Friday, the hospital called to remind me that I hadn't picked the meds up yet as I'd forgotten the 4th was on Sunday. If they hadn't called, I'd have spent last night with fireworks and no meds.

Last week I needed to take my cat to the office. I live out in the country and it is a long trip for me to come into the office. I was able to get an appointment for the same day. When I arrived early as driving into town from my location is not an exact science I was very promptly escorted into an exam room. The young technician did tell me her name.

I always like to know who I am working with. This was my first experience with Dr. Villanueva. He was thorough, personable and professional. I was comfortable with him. He made the correct diagnosis for my cat. We were able to check out quickly. I will most definitely bring the dogs for care as well! The follow up calls regarding the well being of my pet were also most appreciated! Thank you to everyone.

We have been taking our fur babies here for years. They are knowledgeable and treat our pets with love. How many vets do you know that will get down on the floor to greet you pet. I trust them with all my babies.

I absolutely love them! They took great care with my baby Max and he was very calm when they brought him out given the fact that I have deemed him to have some sort of anxiety, lol. But overall, the staff was very professional, the doctor came out to my vehicle and spoke with me and I am more than satisfied with the service I received. I’ve been using Cheyenne Animal Hospital for several years now. I’ve been happy with the service I receive there from day one. The people are friendly and professional and more often than not, appointments have been on time. I’m especially pleased and thankful for the bedside manner of the vets themselves. They have always been caring, considerate and very communicative of what is happening with my fur babies. I highly recommend them for your vet needs.

My dog was attacked and I took her to another hospital who wanted over 5k for her surgery and Dr Hewitt agreed to clear his schedule to do her emergency surgery for a little over 2k. I was extremely impressed by him and the work he did on her, now only a short time later she's acting like her old self again! The only thing id change about the hospital is their payment options or ability to have programs available for those not able to come up with that much at one time. Other than that I had a great experience and would highly recommend them over anyone else in the area!

I have had the vets call me at home to give me information HOURS after the hospital has closed. They are all very caring and routinely put in many extra hours to give excellent care.
