We are travelers on Assignment. I contacted several vets before deciding to visit Downtown Animal Hospital. We have two energetic anti social Morkies (1 Yea old Piper & Paisley). The staff ( technician and assistant) knew how to handle our puppies with loving care. Dr. Garrity was kind, gentle and and warming. She was open and very helpful. Beside the professional care of our pets she was personable.
Some vets always try to upsell thier services and get you to buy additional supplies, medication or treatment. She DID NOT do such a thing. We actually saved more money coming to see Dr. Garrity. The day after our puppies visit Dr. Garrity called to check on them. Now this is great and valuable customer service that shouldn't go unnoticed. I HIGHLY recommend going to THE DOWNTOWN ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Sincerely, Piper & Paisley

Never share upfront costs for services. Share what they would like to do without sharing cost! If you feel a recommendation is needed they should share cost for such. THEY DON'T! I was charged 283.85 for an office visit and xray. I refused to pay that outrageous price. Paid for office visit and pet was still sick. OUTRAGEOUS!

This is the best that I've ever been to. We took our cat to a vet up the street from there and he had a really bad skin condition and he was getting worse and worse under the other vet's care we didn't know what was going to happen we thought he wasn't going to make it. Then we met her the best bet I've ever been to she saved our cat's life she was smart kind listen to us worked with us knew her stuff about cats and dogs very great very great that I'd give them more than five stars if possible I think them everyday because I don't think our cat would be alive right now without them

I moved to Louisville from Oldham County and had been having trouble finding a Vet that I felt I could trust with my 12 year old Mini Poodle. Dr. Garrity are absolutely amazing! Dr. Garrity called the day after my little guy got his shots just to check on him and see how he was doing. He now needs surgery on his leg and I feel very comfortable with the staff to take good care of my little man :
