I took my dog Patches to this vet twice I took her there. And I never ever been treaded so well anywhere. The staff and Drs we very attentive to patches and myself. They talked to me and explained what should be done now and informed me what will eventually happen later it just a matter of time. I love this place. They are very reasonable I would recommend them to everyone.
Keep up the great work and thank you all for all your doing. And being straight foreword with me and not sugar coating it. Plus they told me in the best way they could with out being crass. I love this place.

This Is not my typical vet. I adopted From a rescue and this is one of the vets they use for spay/neuter. I started my own rescue 14 years ago for a different breed (Great Danes) so am very familiar with the soy process even having sat in on several surgeries. I would drive out of state to find a vet before I would take any animal to this vet. my dog was spayed and not only did they cut pretty badly (and said nothing to me about it) her simply shaving her belly but they sent her home with no pain meds at all.
I have had at least 40 fosters through my house spayed and I have never heard any cry in pain like my dog did because she wasn't given pain medication. It is barbaric! Even the family checking out before me asked if there was pain medication to go home with their dog. I asked the same question shocked that none was handed to me. Both times the response was no. nothing was prescribed.
This is torture not veterinary medicine. For the record I did reach out to the rescue and they confirmed that they said that dogs do generally get a few days of pain meds. Please think twice before leaving your animals in the care of these people. I realize this industry is suffering with burnout and staff shortages but that shouldn't change the way you care for a pet.

I can not thank Dr Rachel and her staff enough for everything they did today. I called as soon as the office opened and asked for a same day appointment as my boy was not feeling well at all. They scheduled us for the afternoon as it was the only thing available. They called not even an hour later and asked me to bring him in early because they had a cancellation.
I live in Greenwood so we got ready, put the car seat in the car and the fur baby in the car seat and away we went. We got there and they were quick to get us weighed and in a room. The tech came in and got some information about my boy and told us the doctor would be in soon. We didn't wait long for Dr Rachel and I couldn't be more thankful for her.
I think deep down I knew before even leaving home that I wouldn't be bringing my boy back with me. Dr Rachel gave me the facts and answered any question I had. Ultimately for me it came down to quality of life over quantity of life. We talked about the options I had moving forward. My boy was 16 years old and I couldn't bring myself to put him thru all kinds of testing for another year or two of life.
Ultimately I made the decision to have him euthanized. He was in pain and was suffering and I couldn't let it continue to happen. The staff was amazing with how well everything was handled, the time we were given beforehand and the time we were given after. I'm beyond thankful for you Dr Rachel and your staff. Rest easy my boy, I love you so much and I miss you more than you'll ever know.

We have a foster puppy and were given a coupon for a $10 rabies shot at Animal Medical Center. It's way far away from us, but we decided to make the trip to save some money. They were able to get us in the next morning for an appointment. The vet was very nice, gave our scared little puppy a cookie with some peanut butter to entice her. They included a checkup and also did a skin test since she had some thin spots in her fur (thankfully she's fine).
They didn't charge us for anything other than the $10 shot. One of the two vets called in sick, so they called us about an hour before our appointment to let us know there would be a wait and offered to reschedule. That's great service. We only ended up waiting about 30 minutes past our appointment time.
