Western Hills Veterinary Clinic, P.A. has been in Topeka since July of 1976. The hospital moved into a newer facility in June of 1999 about 3-miles east of its former location on Wanamaker Road. Our new location gives us an opportunity to give hard working folks that work down town, the option to have their pet checked out while they are at work.
We feature MedRx endoscopic equipment for visualization, lavage, cleansing, cerumenolith and tumor removal, and myringotomy for middle ear infections. Ear disease affects around 1/3 of all dogs and around 10% of all cats at some time during their lives. These diseases can be painful and debilitating.

We have taken our dog to Dr. Fischer for 5 years. We have been very pleased with him and Western Hills Vet. Dr. Fischer always takes the time to thoroughly explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. All of the staff is very personable and make you feel comfortable taking your pet there. We just happened to take our dog there when we moved to Topeka and I am so glad we did!

I can't say enough that is positive about Western Hills Vet. Clinic. We had a very sad and abrupt happening in December with our pet. We weren't even established patients and they allowed us to rush in with her and the situation was treated with such kindness and compassion. Now we are raising a kitten and are so happy he is receiving care from Dr. Fischer and his staff. They are absolutely wonderful!

I couldn't remember if I had wrote a review. So its time too again. When I first found western Hills I needed a specific Kennel cough preventative and they had it and were willing to see me that day. Dr Fischer was there on his day off. First off it was calm. lol Our other vet would have 5 patients in the front room and a lot of times the interaction between pets wasn't friendly.
The staff was friendly, Dr Fischer is always cheery, Lisa is Great too and very knowledgeable, and my Dogs get great care period. So we will continue to bring our pets back for regular exams and emergencies if needed. Mike Walter

Everything was fine, I would have liked to be able to come inside with my pet, but I understand in these times many places are still limiting that. I enjoyed meeting the gal that came outside to greet me and do the intake, and it was also nice getting to meet the doctor and visiting with him. I will certainly use you next time I need vet care and I will recommend you to anyone that is looking as well. Thank You
