We are glad you selected our family to help your new addition live a long and healthy life. Please schedule your new puppy or kitten's exam as soon as you can to start him/her on vaccines to prevent serious but preventable diseases. He/she will continue to get boosters every 3-4 weeks until they are 18-19 weeks of age.
Although Brookville Road Animal Hospital is not considered an emergency hospital and is not open 24 hours a day, we do our best to accommodate emergencies whenever possible. We are always happy to assist you in your time of need whether you are an established or new client. Our doctors are experienced in emergency care and making timely decisions to assess the immediate needs of your pet.
Over 85% of dogs and cats have some type of periodontal disease. Periodontal disease simply means that the gums and bone that hold the teeth in place are being destroyed by oral bacteria. This preventable disease is the number one diagnosed disease in our pets, yet many animals suffer needlessly. Periodontal disease begins with gingivitis, or inflammation of the gum tissue, which is caused by plaque.

Attempted to have our first visit today. Was on hold for 20 minutes to "check in" to then be told we could wait for an hour or more in the car to be seen or reschedule. After waiting for more than 20min on the line to then reschedule, I gave up. Unfortunate. I wish I could have just been told before wasting the gas.

I recently had to say goodbye to my 17 year old cat. When it came time, the vet (I can't remember his name) was so professional, kind, and empathetic. Even though that moment was so hard, when I think back on it now I really appreciate how nice the vet was in that moment. He truly cared and that meant a lot to me.

I've been going to this facility for 15 years. They use to care and I received good care for my pets, now everything has changed for the worse. They are uncaring, in a hurry to get you in and out, do not follow up on their patients and staff appears to not know what is going on. Very disappointed. I will be searching for a different vet.

I had been taking my dog Blu there since the day I got him from the rescue. They have always been very wonderful to him and myself. And when the time came a few weeks ago to have to put him down they was very very caring about the while thing. I can't praise they for the care and thoughtfulness over the years. I will definitely bring another pet to them when the time comes.

The medical staff in this place is remarkable, they have been looking after my Gia for over 10yrs. They keep her health in order, along with a few accidents my baby has acquired over the years. I feel very confident with them throughout this journey of the life of my dog. Thank you guys so much for being there for my and Gia!

My puppy goes here, they are nice. Very busy like all vets now. Not easy to get into. But convenient location, staff has been very nice, they have an online web portal that shows information and I can email the staff through it. I am glad I chose them. My friend who used to breed dogs uses them for his dogs and recommended them.

My coworkers recommended this vet and I'm glad they did! They squeezed my sick dog (jaundiced, vomiting, weight loss) in to be seen when no area vet had any openings for weeks. The vet was communicative with me and actually treated my dog for what was wrong unlike the ER vet I had taken her to 5 weeks ago. Their prices were much better than the ER also.
The staff were very kind and helpful on the phone and in person. I highly recommend this vet office because they actually care about your pet and are not in it for the money!
