Feline Specialties Veterinary Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital for cats only. Located in south Tulsa, Oklahoma, it offers all the amenities to satisfy even the most finicky of felines. Our facilities offer a comfortable, home-like setting that puts most kitties at ease immediately. Our veterinarians are well trained in diagnostic and preventive medicine, dentistry, behavior counseling and surgery. We offer a luxurious and relaxing "bed and breakfast" (boarding) area. Our gift shop is filled with unique gifts for cats and cat lovers.
I became a kitty mom on a Friday the 13th in August of 2004. 5 newly born kitties were abandoned by mom in the shrubbery under my dining room window. I lost one that first weekend because they had been without food for approximately 24 hours. By Monday I began searching for someone to help and found Feline Specialties--cats only, yea! Karla and Jane were awesome in caring for the remaining 4--even calling when 2 more passed away.
Feline Specialties offers a full dental examination and prophylaxis (cleaning). Under gentle gas anesthesia, the mouth, teeth and gums are examined, scaled (tartar and plaque removed), cleaned and polished. Any broken or badly infected/decayed teeth are extracted by our veterinarians. A disinfectant gel is massaged gently into the gums to help prevent gingivitis.
Ultrasound/X-ray Feline Specialties offers a broad range of medical diagnostic programs. Our veterinarians take over thirty-six hours of feline continuing education each year. They are up to date on the latest feline diseases and their treatments. Their diagnostic tools include digital x-ray, ultrasound, and access to a complete diagnostic lab for bloodwork and pathology. They also offer a complete preventive medicine program including kitten care, adult wellness, senior cat care, and behavior counseling.

These people are incredible. They care and it shows. They're thorough and will do everything they can for your precious fur baby. My parents always take their cats to this amazing place and I always take my baby girl here too. They are nothing short of wonderful. I have nothing negative to say.

I won't take my cats anywhere else. They are sooo much more comfortable/CALM in a feline-only environment, and since they specialize in cats, you know the staff is going to love on your babies; I've found several - not all! - general vet offices that were annoyed to deal with a stressed feline and less inclined to be caring. They remember my cats when I bring them in and got upset when I had to cancel a boarding once because staff was looking forward to seeing our sweetheart - a male burmilla. I've received calls to check in on my pets after procedures, and they are always ready to help when you come upon a problem. A++

I can confidently say Feline Specialties is the best veterinary hospital I have been to within Oklahoma. Dr. Palmer and the staff went above and beyond to help our FeLV+ kitty when his health started to deteriorate. Dr. Palmer gave us multiple options, explained in detail of procedures, answered all of our questions thoroughly, was transparent about costs, and ultimately made a huge impact on our baby's quality of life. She is incredibly caring about her patients, and we will without a doubt bring all of our future kitties to her and her associates at Feline Specialties.

We are so thankful for Feline Specialities, and especially Dr. Zinn and Dr. O'Cain. I trust them to care for my kitties! They are professional, kind, welcoming, the office is very clean and sanitized, and everyone is so friendly. Definitely a five star experience!

Feline Specialties! This place continues to give A++ service. If your a cats only owner I suggest this place. Having pets all my life. I noticed cats get very stressed going to the vet. Especially if its a vet that sees all animals. Growing up My other cats was so anxious they wouldn't want to leave the car or the carrier. When you enter the facility, your immediately greeted and you'll see this place is very calm and peaceful.

This helped my cat transition into the waiting room. The vet tech was very patient and very smooth in getting my cats vitals while I was in the room. Dr. Judy Zinn was very friendly and had excellent bedside manner. Very gentle in handling my cat. Gave a lot of insight in my cat's care. She gave my cat his shots while distracting him at the same time. I strongly recommend this place if your a cat owner.

Only place in the country I would trust my cats to! Everyone here is passionate about your Kitty's health and happiness, even when your cat doesn't feel the same to the point that they have to get the gas mask out for each visit.

One of my cats managed to swallow extremely large chunks of a thick rubber mat that I recently put under an exercise bike. Dr. Zinn was wonderful during the entire ordeal, requesting several ultrasounds to make sure surgery was necessary. He is doing great and the Buster Body Suit has been a life saver! I love the way it allows him to jump, use the litter box, eat, and drink like he normally would (unlike those plastic cone collars) and I'm able to get a good night's sleep knowing he can't pull any of the stitches out.

He's napping very comfortably in his body suit in the attached picture. I'm very grateful to Dr. Zinn, Karla and all of the staff for taking such great care of my boy during all of this. We both appreciate everyone there and highly recommend them.
