Services
We offer a wide range of services to help care for your pets. Our clinic is equipped to handle everything from regular health checkups to emergency services including surgery. We use all state-of-the-art equipment and the newest technological advances to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Our veterinary technicians are responsible for all exam rooms, outpatient diagnostic tests, pharmaceuticals, blood drawing, bandages, IV's, injections, wound care, emergency triage, and stabilization, anesthesia, dentistry, assisting in surgery, client education, behavior, and the care of ICU and isolation patients.
We are proud to have Fear Free Certified Professionals on our team. Our practice is dedicated to caring for your pet's emotional and physical wellbeing. We'd like you to know how we meet that goal. Is your pet showing signs of stress and anxiety before arriving at the veterinary office? Ask us if pre-visit sedation or supplements might take the edge off and keep your pet happy and relaxed. Would your pet be more comfortable waiting in the car rather than the waiting room? Just let us know, and we'll be glad to accommodate you.
Regular exams allow our doctors to evaluate your pet's general health. They will look for problems before they become serious illnesses. Since your pet cannot vocalize its feelings, you must rely on regular physical examinations by your veterinarian and your at-home observations to assess your pet's health.

I have been bringing all three of my dogs here for almost 5 years now and I have to say they have the friendliest staff. I have never had any problems. I have seen all the vets at one time or another and they are very knowledgeable and honest. Today I called worried about one of my pups and within 5 minutes the women on the phone had not only calmed me down but made a game plan. I really appreciate the staff!

My Kobe was sick today and they got me in right away. The staff that saw Kobe were very friendly and explained everything they could about what they saw. This is my fur son and I needed him well. They made me feel much better about that. I have a primary vet but would used them again for my fur baby.

Called at 7:30pm in a panic about an issue I noticed suddenly with my dog. They were able to fit me in that same night. The vet, vet tech, and front desk were all welcoming and didnt seem a bit annoyed about staying a lil past closing time. They were able to check out my baby quickly and put my worried heart at ease. I am so thankful for this vet office. I would have been sick with worry if not for them. Would HIGHLY recommend them to any and everybody!

Dr. Little has been our vet for over 15 years. He and his staff are so compassionate, knowledgeable, and treat your pet like their pet. We recently had to say goodbye to our big boy, a chocolate lab, Malachi. Dr. Little and his team were so kind, explained everything, and Dr. Little didn't leave our side throughout the ordeal. Then, completely to my surprise, they sent me a card with multiple paw prints and a nose print of my baby.
I was not expecting it, and it brought me so much comfort. Something so small meant the world to me. Thank you! Dr. Little will always be our vet, as long as he's in practice - which we hope is forever. Lol.

Firstly.reading the negative comments.coming from people wanting 1) special privileges 2) people late for their appointment but wanting to be seen anyway 3) people not understanding this is not an emergency vet clinic. If you have a pet emergency, GO TO THE VET EMERGENCY CLINICS. Duh. WE LOVE ELM POINT! Michael, one of the techs that works overnights is amazing.
Super nice, thoughtful, etc no matter what time of night it is. We started with Dr. Randazo who was phenomenal, she is no longer there, so we are now seeing dr Lang.who is so good with all of my rescue dogs. Would highly recommend!

They were friendly and were decent people but the groomer leaves much to be desired, the rooms are cold steel and cement, and they have outdated posters on the walls (either that or they haven't trained their front desk staff adequately). The groomers are determined to do every dog the same, no matter what; they're WAY to rigid. On multiple occasions I gave specific instructions (unscented soaps, don't touch his claws, etc) and they never listened.
I would ask for just a trim and bath and they'd do everything they usually do and charge me full price. They only have certain "packages" that they do, you cannot customize for what your pet needs or what you can afford. As soon as you get into the back everything's cement, steel, and old. The atmosphere seems cold, clinical, and unwelcoming. (This is my impression, your experience may be different).
In the treatment room they had a poster up saying that they do payment plans. I didn't think too much of it when I first saw it, but I definitely remembered when they told me by bill was several hundred dollars more than I'd budgeted for. I asked the woman at the front desk about the payment plan and she told me they don't do payment plans, my only options were to not purchase the heartworm/flee/tick meds or to pay on full.
That's it. I had to do some scrambling to find the money. A payment plan would have been very helpful. They need to either take down the posters advertising payment plans or train their staff better. I'm not impressed. Anyone know of a friendlier and more accommodating vets office in St Charles County?

We had an appointment at 5pm for both of our dogs. We got there at 4:58pm checked in with the front desk and they said 10 mins. One of our dogs has bad anxiety so we stood outside with him and came in with 2 mins to spare (once inside anxiety dog is whining and shaking the entire time). Then we waited and waited and no one that worked there even looked at or said anything to us.
About 545pm I finally said our appointment was at 5pm can you see what is going on. She called back and to my surprise a vet tech came out and got us immediately. This was only to put us in a room. We did not see any sign of a vet until 620pm. One hour and 20 mins after our appointment. While waiting in the front lobby we saw this vet walking around joking so not sure why we were waiting for so long.
Anxiety dog was only there for bordetelle so when we checked out it was surprising to see a charge for 2 office visits. I mentioned something to the girl in front she went back and talked to the vet and she said since we have not seen him since 2019 the vet had to reacquaint with the pet. He literally pulled his legs and looked at his teeth and eyes.
Never once did he bring up or discuss the anxiety issue we brought up the the vet tech, but still charged us $55 for an office visit. Ridiculous. Ever since the expansion of this office it seems service has severely declined. I requested copies of both our pet records which is sad since we have been coming to Elm point for over 15 years. Maybe it was just the vet and the girls working up front that night, but it was a terrible experience nonetheless.

Elm point animal hospital is the best! The staff and doctors are great! My dogs go here and are always in great care! I had a rabbit that recently got sick and I took her to doctor Lang. he was caring and wanted the best for Bella after he did her exam I made the decision to put her down due to her illness, the vet techs and doctor were so caring during that difficult time. Will forever bring my fur babies to this hospital! Definitely recommend

A year ago this month, Elm Point neglected my cat in "medical boarding" failing to properly care for him and failing to perform the requested exam for his boarding. He was overdue on shots and therefore was required to be updated for boarding. I requested he also get his glucose tested as he was diabetic and that was the reason for medical boarding while I was away. Failing to perform these, they continued to give him insulin at a dose higher than he needed.
A technician gave him his nightly dose and walked away without monitoring him. He went into a coma and seized. I was not called till the NEXT DAY of the incident. I had signed a DNR so it would have be wise to have been called to ask if I would want extraneous procedures performed to keep him alive. I came back to find my cat severely brain damaged and was still required to PAY FOR BOARDING AND EUTHANASIA. I was told it would be looked into and nothing came of it. I had loved this office for a long time and have been deeply saddened and hurt by this incident to this day.

We have been loyal customers of Elm Point for 7 years since our lab was a puppy. We have always loved Dr. Little, and have also had great experiences with grooming and boarding. Unfortunately they have let themselves grow into a huge business and have lost sight of what is most important - caring for animals. I just called because I'm concerned our dog has an ear infection, and the earliest appointment is 10 days from now.
This is unacceptable to me as we have been established patients for years, and I'm expected to let my dog wait (potentially in pain) until she can be seen in 10 days. I was also offered a drop off option for a $65 additional fee later this week (still several days away) and the doctor "would try to fit her in". Charging additional fees to have a sick dog seen sooner is greedy and a business practice I just cannot tolerate. Unfortunately we will be finding a new veterinarian for our dog.
