Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. The veterinarians and staff at our clinic are ready to provide your pet with cutting edge veterinary medical care. From wellness exams to advanced diagnostics and surgical procedures, your pet will receive high quality care at our hospital.
Our area is fortunate to have a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital for after-hours care that can help with the more critical cases. We offer emergency veterinary care during our normal business hours, but if you think you may have an emergency with your pet, we ask that you call ahead, just in case your pet's condition is more serious and needs specialty care.
Our pet's ability to disguise pain hinders our understanding of when they might need help. Dental disease is one of the most common diseases we treat. Just like in humans, dental problems can cause pain. Discovering the sources of pain requires a complete oral exam performed under general anesthesia by our experienced team.
Dr. Parker treats a wide variety of exotic and small pocket pets. Dr. Parker developed an interest in exotics as a young girl while taking care of a wide variety of animals including hamsters, lizards and newts. During her undergrad years, she worked at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, and later went on to work with the St. Kitts Sea Turtle Monitoring Network while attending vet school at Ross University. During her clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University, she conducted additional clinical rotations with exotics as well.

We have been going to Aboite Animal Hospital for 28 years now, ever since moving to the SW side of Ft Wayne. We have taken three pets to them over the years and have had nothing but the best of care, service, and compassion. We had to have two cats put to sleep due to illness and it was devastating. They were part of the family and we still miss them dearly.
We have used three different vets, all amazing. We are presently having another aging pet cared for and appreciate the service and care. I would highly recommend them to you.

The veterinarians and staff at Aboite are the best. They really love their four legged clients. I love that they don't push unnecessary treatments and medications. They just want the best for our furry friends. They have gone above and beyond to help me get the best care for my dog. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We love this place! Had an emergency with our cat and they got her in right away. Took such good care of Lexus, treated her like she was their cat. Everybody is so friendly and helpful. As an animal foster mom in Fort Wayne, I have had a few *guest pets* in my home. While that usually causes no issues, a recent event found one of my own cats, sick. (You can clean, bleach, and sanitize until your fingers fall off, but there are no guarantees with URIs) I wasn't about to waste time and I needed to get my little Stella Blue in to be seen. Stella had never been there before since we moved from across town and I'd been meaning to find a new family vet, yet they were able to fit her in.
I had her in and seen within about 30 minutes. Dr. Koch absolutely RADIATES kindness and her concern for the animals is genuine. She is a human and I truly felt she wasn't looking at my baby as a paycheck. This was the absolute best experience I have ever had in my life with a vet. Bar none. I would find it difficult to send anyone looking for a veterinarian, anywhere else. Thank you so very much to Dr. Koch and staff, and welcome to OUR family.

We have taken our dogs to Aboite Animal Hospital since it first opened many years ago and have always received excellent care. At the saddest of times when we had to say goodbye to a pet, the staff was always caring and compassionate. We especially love Dr. Koch for her gentle touch and willingness to take time to listen and care for our dogs. Everyone on the front desk is likewise friendly, helpful and caring. I can't imagine using any other vet service.
