We always want is best for your family and pets. As with any family member there can be unexpected illness, injury, or just yearly cost associated to wellness. Payment is expected at the time of service and any exceptions must be cleared through management prior to the appointment. We never want costs to interfere with good medicine.
Whether you are here to gather information because your pet is aging or critically ill, or you need to make that decision ASAP, we hope this can answer as many questions for you as possible. The doctor performs the euthanasia in an exam room and we entrust Paws and Remember to take care of your beloved pets remains.

I used to go to another Vet in Fort Wayne and it seemed like every time I went I needed something extremely expensive, unrelated to why I came, they never listened to my concerns. I switched to the pet hospital 4 years ago and I can't recommend them enough. He actually cares about the animals not the money. He listens and address EVERY concern no matter how small.
All the staff is so wonderful and friendly, anytime anyone ask where to go for their pets health no hesitation Pet hospital! I have a senior dog and I contribute his long life to Fort Wayne pet hospital. Thank you for everything and thank you for taking care of my best friend.

We brought our puppy in to have her ears cropped by Dr. Hagerfield so we drove just over 2 hours to get there and it was definitely worth the drive! I absolutely loved her work! She was incredibly detailed and made sure she understood clearly what we wanted! I've been a vet tech for a long time and have never seen that clean of work! She truly makes sure things get done correctly!
Her ears healed right up and they look amazing! I definitely will be bringing any future dogs back to her! The whole process was a breeze! Everyone was super friendly there! I would give 100 stars if I could!

I really hate to leave a negative review because overall the staff was friendly. I came in back to back days for blood work which takes about 20 minutes. Both days I sat in the lobby for over an hour past the appointment time. It's really frustrating having my time wasted, I can understand 15 minutes but over an hour starts to get ridiculous. The first day there were 2 vet techs for the blood work, the first tech poked my dog EIGHT times, the second vet tech then took over the needle and was able to get blood the first try.
Day two, same thing, the first tech tried over TEN times, then the second tech tried about six times before they went and got the vet who was able to draw blood her first try. It's horrifying to watch your dog shaking and cowering in fear while this happens.
