Westside Animal Hospital

I scheduled an Appointment online which I had to reschedule due to my grandmothers viewing. They were able to reschedule me a couple of days later. They told me the appointment was at 2:45 when I received the text reminder it said my appointment was at 3 and asked that I be 15 minutes early. I was there at 2:42. After waiting for 30 minutes and seeing 4-5 people who arrived after me go into rooms I asked how long it would be I was told the room would be ready in a few minutes.

So they take us back I waited an additional 15 minutes before giving up and walking out. They do not respect customers time. I had to pack up my 2week old baby and my dog for this appointment and who knows how long I would of waited had I not left. This is not the only time I have had to wait here about a year ago I was dropping my dog off before work for boarding I waited over 15 minutes for them to take my dog when I was just dropping off. I will not be returning. My time is valuable. I understand running behind but they should give the customers a heads up. Also they never mentioned the vet running behind.

Our little dog needed a follow up visit after taking her to the ER vet. This was the only place with appointments. They require a $60 hold over the phone for appointments. Day of, we woke to our dog not moving. My husband called them while I threw on clothes and started driving. He explained the situation and they said they could see her right away.

I walk in with my dying dog in tears and they told me to take a seat. She died in my arms while we were waiting. There was no urgency. The front desk girls looked at me like I was a problem when I asked them to help my dog because she stopped breathing. I'm not sure if my dog could've been saved but this office was not interested in helping her at all.

They held her body hostage until I paid for the visit. They didn't do anything for her and charged me. I would never use this vet again. The front desk girls were cold and uncaring.

They groom our Newfie so well and are the most affordable we've found. Plus they keep up on her health as well. Our two cats are always cared for there as well. Have been going to them since we moved here in 1964 and even though they are on the far side of town from us, I would never even consider changing.

Very friendly staff. Very good with my doggie. They get your furbabies in pretty quick. Reasonably priced for services.

The staff and doctor were very friendly and organized. They had a clear interest in the well-being and history of my dog, and used the information to customize her care. The facilities were clean, and overall it was a positive and professional experience. We will be returning for care in the future.

Called on a Friday in hopes of getting in on the following day. They fit me right in. Such a relief. On the higher price end but worth it for convenience and good veterinary medicine. I've been looking for a new vet and I'm confident I found the one.

Their groomer, Rosemarie, did a FABULOUS job with our little rescue dog, who had not been groomed in at least a year. This whole practice is filled with kind and gentle folks who give every pet the VIP treatment.

My ginormous dog is wonderfully clean! The dog wasn't even afraid this time to go in! The 120 lb. dog pulled the leash out of my hand, once inside, and ran around the desk where the people all loved on her. The grooming price is incredibly reasonable as well. I'd been paying nearly double that for not as good of a job! After I left my review I looked over other reviews and see a few are left by wacky doodles.

My mom started taking our animals to them in 1964 when we moved here. We have seen them through the move to this location and through different owners. Someone below said something negative about them having to pay for their "new" building. This building was erected probably 30 or more years ago! Their prices are in line with other vets as I took a cat to someone on my side of town, looking for a closer vet, and paid through the nose.

Since 1964 we have never had an issue with any of the staff or vets. Yes, they went through a time when people could not accompany their pets inside but that was at the height of Covid! I have been using them for nearly 60 years. Would not trade them for anything and drive quite a way just to use them.

I'm disappointed in Westside. I have been utilizing their services for roughly 20 years. I had/have no problems with the service that the vets provided but recently they have made a decision that leaves a negative impression of their business practices. They are rightfully upset with the actions of a family member, who is an adult, and does not live with me.

Due to being upset with this person they have decided to refuse services to all relatives of this person. In essence this doesn't do anything but punish the pets of the rest of the family.

I was trying to find a place to board my dog for a week on short notice and the lady set me up pretty quick. They were very responsive and helpful since it was my first time boarding my dog. Although for the pickup they couldn't find my dog's stuff even though I dropped off the bag with my dog and her collar attached. She didn't have anything, even her collar when she was being picked up. (Luckily after awhile, someone found it.)

Westside has been my vet since I first got my dog. They always are so attentive and helpful. Dr. Burton is phenomenal and my dog, Maggie, loves Meagan. They also have boarding and daycare. Maggie always seems to be so excited to arrive and always is treated well! I can't recommend them enough.

Last week we needed to board our6 year old black mouth cur "Curry " for a week. We pulled into the parking lot and were met with a nice employee who was wearing a mask and using their leash she took our baby into the building. After a week we picked up "curry" who had been recently been shampooed and had nice looking toe nails again. They took our credit card and without any hassle we were on our way. Everything was professional and well done. We will use the Westside again.

I've brought my dogs here for over a dozen years and I've never been anything but very satisfied. Pet care can be expensive but the staff here does an excellent job.

I've brought my cat here for two years. I noticed he wasn't eating so I scheduled an appointment on their online Pet Portal yesterday and they got me into my first choice time slot today. The animal nurses and vets are all friendly and welcoming, and they never do more tests than are necessary. I was given practical solutions for my cat's low-level virus and medication to give him, with very clear instructions. Coming in here, I'm always confident that my cat will get tip-top medical treatment! Highly recommend.

The staff here is awesome and Dr. Fox took the time to thoroughly explain anything I had a question about. VERY clean facility. Great experience!

I was recommended by a family member and scheduled an appointment for our newest family member. I can see why they love it here. The staff is very friendly, professional and knowledable. The vet we seen was patient and calm with our pet. Our experience was wonderful and we will return here. If you are considering a vet for the first time or looking for a new one, give this place a try. You and your pets will love it here. :

I've heard that other area vets are less expensive but I've been bringing my animals here for about 12 years and I have been extremely satisfied. Service is amazing and the care is top notch. I have never called around to see if others are cheaper because I am so satisfied with the care and costs I don't care if I could get them seen for less or not. The trust and relationships they have built with us and our animals provide immense peace of mind.

Fast, friendly service. Caring and considerent staff. The doctor even followed up with me on test results on her day off. This is now my go to vet hospital.

Westside Animal Office is clean, with very friendly staff that make you and your pet feel right at home. The wait time is minimal and the lobby is comfortable. The doctors are very compassionate and knowledgeable. I would have thought my pet was their own cat of 17 years!

Our little Bill the dog was very, very, very sick last week. After a visit with Dr. Fox and an assortment of tests, Bill was sent home with meds, special food and a positive prognosis. I was reasured it was a bad virus but nothing Bill couldn't lick.no pun intended. We've been satisfied customers for 15 years. The staff is friendly, and knowledgeable.

The office was so terrific! I can't say enough about our wonderful treatment by them! We visited from out of town and our puppy was stung by a bee. He went into convulsions and would've died if they hadn't immediately and perfectly dealt with this emergency! Dr Fox was so clear and caring! The staff was helpful and caring. I am very grateful to all! Thank you!
