At Healing Hands Animal Hospital, we treat the animal, not the disease. That's the motto of our founder, Dr. Carol Ross Lewis, whose approach to animal health involves combining the best practices of conventional Western veterinary medicine with age-old modalities of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui-Na and food therapy, to promote health and a long life for your pet.

Have taken my Doberman Pinscher 'kids' to Dr. Carol at Healing Hands for many years. She's the best! The staff have always been compassionate, knowledgeable, always a follow up after a visit. From my personal experience, they don't come any better! For all you do, saying "Thanks" doesn't seem to be enough.

One of the best vets I have been too. We rescued a fearful scared dog who is very stoic and will not show pain. Dr. Lewis performed a methodical nose to tail exam and found issues (to monitor) that were not on our radar. She checked his eye for damage and prescribed meds and he is all healed up. Much appreciation for Healing Hands Animal Hospital as we love our pets as much as our kids. Thank you!

Healing Hands and everyone there have become family. They saved our older dog in 2020 and this year we're fighting new challenges. The doctors are amazing and they conference with each other about treatments and care. Their skills in surgery, CT scans is the best on the Eastern Shore. Acupuncture, holistic meds and doc's that give so much of their life to the care of our animal babies. All of the staff get an A+ too. They are the best, most honest, effective and caring practice possible and my dogs love them too

This is the best vets office I have ever dealt with. The staff and knowledgeable courteous and compassionate. The doctors are amazing. They realize my dogs are my family. I don't know where I would be with out them. My lab is diabetic and doing great thanks to them. They work their magic to get you in when emergencies arise. I would recommend them to everyone
