Our clients tell us that they come to Care Animal Hospital because they want more than just a friendly experience when it's time for their pet's exam and vaccinations. They know that if their pet ever has a problem - minor or major - they don't have to wonder what to do. They know they can just call or come right in. They know that we have the ability to handle the most challenging medical and surgical conditions and that in their moment of need we won't be sending them off somewhere that is completely unfamiliar.

I am at a loss for words with this place. First of all, prices are way too high. Total bill was over $1,000 this week, i took her to another vet where they did the same thing for $250. They are super bad at communicating both in person and over the phone. Barely answers any questions or explains anything. Sent me home with records and x-rays that i had to figure out myself.
After I had called and asked for them 3 times. Almost made me pay $6,000 for an unnecessary surgical procedure that costs $2,500 at a different vet. They seem to only care about the money instead of the well-being of your pet. Front desk staff is very rude. Overall, this place is rude, communication is poor, and wayyyyy to expensive. I will be going to a different vet from now on.

Care animal hospital in Arlington heights has to be the worst vet you can take your pets to. From being unhelpful with explaining everything going on to suggesting unnecessary procedures. They are just totally unprofessional and only seem to care about money. Just for blood work and X-rays it was near $700 and then we had to get more X-rays 2 days later for another $300. If you take your pets to this animal graveyard hoping for them to help get your pets better I highly recommend you check out other places because this place isnt it.

The owner of this establishment is money hungry and runs a puppy mill. They overdose pets and try to hide it. the staff is treated poorly. The dogs are treated poorly. Staff is Underpaid. They would rather choose to euthanize a dog that is perfectly healthy than to euthanize a dog that cannot eat or hardly stand. they neglect their animals. None of the staff is actually trained. None of the vet techs are certified. There's a flea infestation. Don't take your animals here.

I took my Giant Schnauzer in for a toe amputation and really like this hospital. I decided to start bringing my dog. I took him in for an ear infection and decided to get him a Cytopoint injection for his allergies. My dog has had this injection prior. When I check out the price for that injection was DOUBLE what I have previously paid. I called and I was told the office manager would contact me, still no phone call. I will not be going back, save your money!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gentry. She is caring, concerning, very detailed in explaining everything you need for successful care of your pet. I'm totally blown away. Never had a vet so loving as her. Thank you so very much for your time and patience. Also a huge thank you to all the amazing front end people. Such a wonderful place. From the bottom of my heart. I am very grateful to Care animal hospital for always fitting us in during emergencies. Coco found raisins on the ground outside while walking. I saw him eat 3 before I could do anything. I called the vet and they got him in immediately and had him throw up. Apperantly he ate 6 raisins and a plastic cap! So glad they are always here to help and take care of Coco even when they are super busy.

We take our new-to-us big doggo to them, and Dr. Ford has been great! They were also helpful when she suddenly started limping shortly after we got her (just a pulled muscle). Due to covid, atm you don't go in with your pet, you take them into a front room and hand them over, then wait in the car or outside and the vet calls you during the exam. Dr. Ford answered all of our new parent questions very politely and patiently!
And I hear the staff did an excellent job bribing our food-motivated dog, she was very happy with her first vet experience! We are so happy to have found them and will definitely be back! Our annual exam+stool test+several weeks of allergy meds+Lyme vaccine was a little over $200, which in my experience is pretty dang good (but I also last owned a pet in NYC). Definitely worth the money for such great care! And because they're open 7 days a week and until 7pm weekdays, you can get an appointment outside of work hours!

We have a 2.5 year old German Shepard/Pit Mix. She was a rescued at 8 months from an extremely abusive and neglectful home. She was crated for 20+ hours a day and never properly socialized to people or other dogs. Care Animal Hospital has taken their time with her and work off her terms and at her pace. It was so nice to see a facility that takes their time with her and doesn't go to muzzle her within 3 minutes like 4 other vet offices did. We love it at Care and cannot wait to bring our new 5 month old German Shepard Mix in for his yearly exam. Thank you Care for being to patient and wonderful!

.i was in this hospital today with my dog to trim her nails, everything was fine until returned home, which lasted about 10 minutes after a few minutes all my floor and carpet in my house are red from blood. I called them and say; the dogs paw bleeds very much, what happened? and they say "our technician cut short nails". I went back and the lady who represents the owner (im explain her what happen) when im ask her if this is professional hospital or same unknown clinic? and what kine professional workers they hire? and what about my carpet and seats in my car? why nobody told me what happened i heard - WE DO NOT CARE WHAT HAPPENED that happen when the dog walking in the snow (5 feet from my garage to the home) I ask how you can like and heal animals and cause them such pain? do these technicians have any training how to do it? i think not NO ONE EVEN SAID SORRY i strongly advise against this hospital, better pay more and take advantage of professional service
