Dr. Karen Jordan and her staff are able to provide complete medical care for your pets in the privacy and comfort of your own home. Services
J is a small animal veterinarian and the owner of Compassionate Care Veterinary Service. She and her team provide quality and experienced veterinary house call services to your four-legged children. Dr. J always knew that she would become a veterinarian and now strives to improve the human-animal bond.
Euthanasia procedures can be scheduled after hours and on Sundays under special circumstances. We will call you 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to let you know we're on the way. Due to the nature of Atlanta traffic, we ask you to allow a 15 minute window before and after the scheduled appointment time.
While it may be the hardest decision you have to make, the quality of your pet's live should always be the central issue. As part of our commitment to the human-animal bond, we offer quality of life and pain assessment exams to help in making a euthanasia decision. Euthanasia is a very personal experience and those last moments should be private and comfortable in your stress-free home environment. The goal of CCVS is to provide peace of mind to families and make the experience as peaceful as possible for both you and your pet.

We highly recommend Dr Jordan for her compassion, responsiveness, professional expertise and efforts beyond our expectation when we were having to plan and arrange a gentle and loving euthanasia for our 14 1/2 year old bullmastiff, Frankie. Frankie had developed adult onset seizure disorder in her final years. While we managed it well enough with medication and controlling her environment, toward the end any discomfort or fear response for our timid dog would initiate another seizure.
And as her fear of anyone she associated with veterinary care increased, the need for a well crafted plan to ensure an easy transition with no fear or discomfort and seizure became essential to us. Dr Jordan spent a great deal of time in advance helping us make our plan, and when the time came unexpectedly one weekend and Dr Jordan wasn't available to come on short notice, she was kind enough to make some calls to help us with a Plan B and Plan C. Dr Jordan's compassion for our dog, whom she never met, and her concern for us after our sweet girl transitioned, even though we weren't able to actually use her service, speaks so highly to me of her character. When we are ready for our next dog, Dr Jordan will be our mobile vet.

Dr Jordan was referred to us to do acupuncture therapy on my senior pitbull, Belle. For the 2.5 years that she worked with Belle, she was wonderful! Her attitude of positive calmness helped Belle to relax through her therapy. Dr Jordan also kept up with my other two pups, asking about them and their health on every visit. I needed a second opinion on a couple of lumps on my shepherd, which she happily did.
My other pitbull is a giant, squirmy boy who doesn't do well in vet offices. Dr Jordan spent over an hour with a very thorough dermatology exam, and gave Markie enough treats that I don't think he knew he had an exam. She found lumps under his skin that my regular vet would never have taken the time to find and figure out. When it came time to say goodbye to Belle, Dr Jordan was wonderful with us, our other pups and, of course, Belle. She grieved with us. I highly recommend Dr Jordan for all at-home vet services!

Dr Jordan is fantastic. Both of our dogs were either too sick or too big to take to the vet. Dr Jordan came thru several times for us. She is full of empathy and has a big heart. You can tell that she loves animals. Dr Jordan made it sooo much easier on our sweet dogs with the home visits. She runs a mobile service so you need to schedule visits.

DR. JORDAN IS AN ANGEL. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It does not surprise me that all of the reviews here are a perfect 5 stars with wonderful comments. Dr. Jordan is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever met. She has a warm soul and comforting presence and an obvious passion for veterinary care. In addition, her professionalism and expertise are out the roof. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
