Traveling can cause enough stress and anxiety - you don't want to worry about whether your pet is being well cared for. We offer a convenient solution by providing boarding in our safe, clean, and comfortable environment for your pet. We offer medically-supervised boarding with an attentive, compassionate staff.
Emergencies, accidents, and illnesses are unfortunate facts of life. We understand how upsetting it is when your pet is sick or injured and know you want the best very best level of care when your pet is hospitalized and needs critical care services. For these reasons, we offer emergency and critical care veterinary medical services during normal hospital hours.
Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We are here to guide you through the many decisions required so your pet may pass away with comfort and dignity. Euthanasia is never an easy choice for a loving pet parent. The procedure can often provide relief from needless suffering due to terminal illness or old age, and we do whatever we can to give you and your pet comfort in these last moments.

We've been trusting Vernon Woods for about a year now with our first fur baby. We are always so happy with the care we receive! They are quick to answer calls and work to fit us in for appointments, even when last-minute. I love their staff and vet techs. We see Dr. Miriam Renfroe who is so sweet. She is happy to answer any and all questions we may have about our dog's symptoms and overall health. We hope to stay with Vernon Woods for years to come!

I had such a great experience. They worked within my budget and addressed immediate and long term needs for my little husky mix. I didn't have to wait to get an appointment and I didn't have to sit in an office for an hour to meet the vet or technician like I've had to do at other vet offices. They're so clean, friendly, and have a great dog kennel also. My dog loved the staff and they were so patient with her.

I called in the morning to schedule an appointment for my dog for an injury, and was able to secure an appointment that same afternoon. Even though the clinic was very busy that day, the staff still took incredibly good care of my dog and gave updates after he was evaluated by the Vet until he was released. I really appreciated their attentiveness and follow up!

My dog had a complication in healing from an injury and Dr. Fisher at Vernon Woods went right into action. She came in on her day off to do the surgery we needed, the staff re-arranged the days schedule to ensure this happened. They treated us like beings and showed they cared. They will have us as patients for life. I would highly recommend Vernon Woods and especially Dr. Fisher. Your pet will not be in better hands than with them.
