Miami Lakes Veterinary Clinic - Darrell Daubert

Awful. Absolutely awful. Do not take your pet here. I found a kitten in the street one morning and immediately took her to get checked that same day about 2 hours after I found her. They said everything was fine, she had no fleas, and they prescribed a de-wormer. She had an injury on her paw and they told us to leave it because it was scabbing and would heal on its own.

We thought everything was fine. Until later that day. We had to rush this kitten to an animal hospital in Pembroke because she had gone into an unresponsive state (I will spare you the details because it was truly heartbreaking). After they took her in she had completely gone brain dead (it was not their fault and it was because of her deteriorating/poor state).

They told us she was SEVERELY dehydrated and had immediately put her on IV's when she arrived. Also that injury on her paw? They treated that immediately too. They told us that if we had left her injury alone it would have gotten worse and she would have lost her toes. This vet clinic that I'm writing this review for FAILED to realize ANYTHING was wrong with her.

If they had done an ACTUAL and PROPER check on this poor sweet kitten they would have realized something was wrong and she might still be alive. But no, they did a terrible job and didn't properly diagnose her. Now she is dead. And she probably suffered before she passed. Please take your pet somewhere else. Please. Cheaper prices or quicker access is not worth losing your pet over. This kitten was so sweet and I am still so heartbroken over this. May she rest in peace. Her name was Kammie.

Very professional, very kind staff. Had to go in twice without an appointment and we were taken in and taken care of. Sadly things did not work in our favor when it came to our dog and everyone did there best to help us through a tough time and make the best decision. The doctor was very knowledgeable and knew how to convy information to us in a respectful manner.

Do. Not. Go. To. Miami. Veterinary. Clinic. They literally just care about money. I took my dog for a check up. Spent 400$ on a bunch of nothing. TWO DAYS LATER I had to go back because the groomer told me he needed a vaccine. So I had to pay for ANOTHER visit even though I had just been there and they should've noticed. And after my dog got groomed I had to ho back AGAIN because he had an ear infection and apparently arthritis that they didn't mention in either visit.

I lived in nyc for a month and the vet there gave me a LIST of things wrong with my dog that in the 14 years of MLVC seeing my dog, they never mentioned. They literally just want you to keep coming back. It's an embarrassment and it's straight up abusive.

We have been going here since 2011, all of the doctors are great, very smart, knowledgeable, lovely bedside manners, experienced. All of the staff very organized, friendly, they all treat your pets like family. Prices are good, location is clean. Always responsive, caring and understanding. Had a car accident once and they offered to pick up my pet since I had her with me. We moved years ago, and only come back down for this vet.

Dr. Morales and Dr. Silva are caring and compassionate Veterinarians. And they are dedicated and professional. They care for all 5 of my feline friends and also any fosters I take on. Their staff has been great as well. Since Covid they are taking all extra precautions necessary to ensure everyone's safety.

I have been going to this clinic for the past 11 years, and will continue even now that I live in Broward. Dr. Morales & Dr. Daubert (now retired) are the most knowledgeable & caring veterinarians. I've also recently had the pleasure of meeting the new physician Dr. Silva & I couldn't be more pleased with her attentive & caring nature. The staff at the clinic is extremely friendly and very attentive.

When I call with any questions or concerns about my pet, they make sure that my concerns are taken care of quickly. If I need medicines refilled, they'll have it ready for me the same day. I absolutely love this clinic for the care is top-notch. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my fur-babies. Thank you all for your exceptional service.

I love this office. The doctors are wonderful and the nurses are great. I have a 50lb pound dog who does not like coming to the vet and everyone is so helpful and pleasant. They always help try to calm her and it's heartwarming to know they care so much. I'm so thankful for these professionals.

Dr. Morales and his staff are great, very caring and responsive. I have been taking my dog here for over a year and they have always been very professional and reliable. I highly recommend this place.

The staff is always very warm and welcoming. Their service is amazing and their prices are very reasonable. I refer everyone I know to Dr. Silva. She gives all my puppies thorough examinations and treats all of them with patience and kindness! 10/10 recommend Miami Lakes Veterinary Center!

My toy poodle Daisy was new patient. Cynthia is very efficient and very accurate. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Morales examination was very thorough and he was also very gentle. The office is nearby so I was very happy with the services.

They really care! You can tell that everyone there loves animals and they treat all animals (including the humans) with love and respect. My puppy is having serious medical issues and if it wasn't for the care of Dr. Morales I wouldn't know what I would have done!

Miami Lakes Vet Clinic is a top notch operation. Dr Manny is a great guy and extremely caring and gentle with my Australian Labradoodle puppy. The entire staff is friendly, attentive and very loving with my dog. Location is great as well for Miami Lakes residents.

I've been taking "Minnie" to Miami Lakes Veterinary Clinic for almost 6 years, ever since I adopted her as a 5 month old puppy. The staff and doctors are extremely caring, experienced and highly skilled. They take the time to listen to and address all questions and concerns. Dr. Morales has personally called me with the results after every single test. I only wish my own doctors had such dedication! I highly recommend this group of awesome professionals to anyone looking for a great veterinary practice.
