The practice of veterinary medicine involves a close relationship between the veterinarian, the pet and the owner. Although veterinarians have many of the diagnostic and treatment capabilities of the family physician, they must also have the cooperation of and communication with the pet's owner to provide proper health care for the pet.
We know you have a choice in Mansfield veterinarians. Here are just a few of the reasons our clients tell us they choose to bring their beloved pets to us for medical care:. WCAC takes excellent care of our fur babies! We usually see Dr. Camarse but have seen all three doctors and have never had a bad experience. Even when they are busy, the front desk staff work with the Drs to get answers to our questions and help get our dogs seen urgently if needed. Highly recommend!

Have had all the doctors here and they are all great and very thorough with exams and getting to the bottom of illness facing my 4 legged friend(s). The nurses are also very good and friendly. Place is also very clean and well taken care of as well. I'd also like to say that the prices here are reasonable for the high level of care present here. I've seen many reviews complaining about the prices, but keep in mind how much human medicine care has increased vs veterinarian medicine care.
Human medicine care prices have increased far more rapidly than vet medicine prices. Keep in mind also much of the supplies and medications used in veterinarian medicine come from the same companies or distributors that make human medical supplies and medicine. Just something to keep in mind. Anyway, I'd highly recommend this practice to everyone.

Dr. Camarse and her staff are great! I appreciate the patience and care that they showed to my baby Teddy. Due to his background as an abandoned stray, he has always exhibited a lot of anxiety, especially at the vet and groomers. This makes it impossible for anyone to get anywhere near him without Teddy becoming aggressive/defensive out of fear. Instead of showing frustration, Dr. Camarse showed compassion for Teddy's situation and had a clear plan to make sure he could get the care he needs. I am thankful for their empathetic and efficient care for my difficult patient and highly recommend them to care for your fur babies.

I can't say how much I appreciate Dr. Roy and her team. My 2 yr old chihuahua was acting abnormally and in trying to get an appointment for a vet to see her, I couldn't.every facility I called was booked and "had no availability". I called Walnut Creek and they were booked up as well but the receptionist check with the doctor to see if there was any chance and they got me in when no one else could. Dr. Roy was thorough and so kind, checking all parts of my dog and insisting on a blood screen.
The blood screen turned out to show elevated kidney and liver numbers, signaling the beginning stages of what I would later find out to be Leptospirosis. They kept her for 24 hours and did all they could before advising me that she needed 24 hour stringent care. Unfortunately, I had to put her down as she wasn't strong enough to recover and had lost so much of her organ function.
I credit Walnut Creek Animal Clinic for their speedy prognosis and immediately providing care for my little pinto bean. They did everything they could, kept in close contact with me and Dr. Roy even gave me her personal cell number to call in case I needed help with the transfer to 24 hour care. Aside from the EXCELLENT care they provided, the entire staff were so friendly, patient and caring.
They loved all over my little girl and made her feel safe during what I can only imagine was a scary time for her. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone. Thank you so much for your help Walnut Creek Clinic!

We had a wonderful first appointment here with Dr. Latimer. I appreciated the amount of time and patience she and her staff devoted to us and making sure we had a thorough evaluation of both dogs. Looking forward to years of partnership caring for our fur babies with their help. Thank you so much for taking good care of us! The entire staff were so friendly and patient and good to us.
