The BEST vet and team ever! Both of our dogs go here and they actually enjoy their visits every time. Dr. Igeta is my favorite because she's sweet and considerate with my pups. Wesley is the BEST tech EVER! Will literally engage with my dogs on the ground. My dogs always feel loved here and it makes me so happy as a dog mom to see others love them as much as I do. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

The very first time I took my dog here. She had a really bad skin condition way back around 2010. I remember having my dog consistently checked and tested and lagged the process. But as soon as I took her to a different vet they were able to figure out what she had right away and gave us the right medication that healed her right away. They saved me money and my dog's health with urgent care but they also saved me time from unnecessary testing from this place.

Fast foreword to now, I had to urgently see the vet for my dog's teeth and health. This was the last place I wanted to go because of my experience with their neglagence and lagging but they were the only ones who were taking in appointments at the time. They recommended to remove all her teeth a month from now. The vet did not check for any possible underlying conditions.

She only left me in the dark with my concern that my poor girl hasn't been eating and only said she may have an underlying issue and left me in the waiting room without actually trying to check what my dog could have had or even gave me any solution for the time being. It's very upsetting because I ended up taking her to an emergency vet just a couple days later since her condition was not getting any better and they were able to figure out her underlying condition and help her right away but the hospital is urging me to get her teeth removed sooner rather than a month from now.

It's very disappointing that the vets here do not do their best to resolve my dog's health even when they suspect something. Instead they basically walked away with my money to set up an appointment to get more money in an untimely manner

Update: I saw some of the negative reviews and I had to share this recent experience. Recently I messed up my appointment time and on top of that was late. When they called because I was over 30 minutes late I thought for sure they would make me reschedule. I was put on hold while she checked with the Dr. and when she came back she said they would figure something out by the time I arrived.

I was worried the Dr. would be in a hurry and not spend much time with me or be angry I was late. Just the opposite happened. She listened to me and humored my paranoid put owner worries. I was so grateful! When the vet said my cat was overweight (She is 100% correct on that.) the vet tech whispered in my cat's ear, "Don't listen to them, you're beautiful." How can you not love these people?

I am not saying these other experiences didn't happen only that in my 20 plus years of coming here my animals have always received excellent care. ********************* I love this place! They take excellent care of my cat. You can also tell that they truly care about the animals and the owners. When my dog had to be put to sleep they helped me carry her in and the tech gave me a hug when I started crying. The people here really care :)

Honestly idk how this hospital got negative reviews. I've got nothing but great things and customer service here. I even think they're better than the vet I used to go to in Los Angeles before I moved to NorCal. They are so patient with my questionsand courtious, they call asap whenever my doggies need an appointment. I got two huskies and they're a handful.

I love how you can easily access your pet records online and shows their next vaccines/checkup so I know when to schedule it. I never had that at the last vet I took my dogs before. The male vet tech (I'm terrible with names) is awesome. I never said this to you but you are a hard worker handling these doggies for their care and I commend you.

I also love the fact that this pet hospital you can text them and they answer. I'm always at work so it's hard to answer phone calls and texts are much easier for me.

I highly recommend Princevalle, they have attentive and caring staff that go above and beyond to help the animals. The vets and staff are absolutely fantastic, caring and personable, as well as accommodating. They go out of their way to help me with the colony cats needing urgent vet care, as well as working with the various rescue groups and their pups that I foster - the staff go above and beyond to take care of the animals and us, the clients too.

I would not be able to help the rescues, fosters, and colony cats without their support. I value the staff highly, and I rely on their expertise, in order to keep the pups I foster - special and medical needs pups as well as seniors who have been displaced - as healthy as possible.

Physically abusive to large breed dogs. Vet tech man handled submissive dog and laughed when he was confronted about it. Do not take your dog here. There was a reason why they do not allow pet owners back with your dog. If you do go here make sure you do not allow them to take your dog out of sight.

I just received the call call princivalli that they were cutting ties with me and the one that suffers is my fur baby when we were in a lockdown and I lost one of my loved ones to covid-19 I forgot about my appointment so when I remembered I called and I was told that I should have had one of my family members to call about the cancellation and that there will be a fee and I have no problem with that when I took my fur baby so his recent appointment and I told dr. Fisher about this incident evidently they talked with the person in the person feels threatened I never threaten no one I saw this person is probably afraid that they were going to lose her job I will see what my legal ramifications are and move forward this is like a cash cow there's no compassion there so if you love your fur baby I will seek other places to go They're Not The Only Game in Town

I had been taking my dogs to Princevalle Pet Hospital to for over 3 years, and today I received a terrible customer service by the office manager, Sandra. For being a long standing customer, I feel that I should had not been treated in the matter she did, and to have them put my dog in neglect in her care. Sandra was extremely rude and incompetent to me when I called today in regards my dogs refill medication, and she did not care to even listen about my concerns or questions, and basically just hung up on me twice.

I have transferred my dogs care to PetsVet Veterinary in Gilroy. I do not want to deal with Princevalle Pet Hospital, ever again. I would not recommend this place for beloved pets for any care at this facility, think twice before taking your pet there.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, Value I called this hospital to check in my dog and they said they had removed my name from their list since it's been a while I haven't checked in with them - what a shame? Hospitals like these should close as they just work off of money and nothing else. I had an emergency situation and they just denied to take me in

We have been bringing our dogs here for over 15 years. We have lost some from old age and its some of the hardest times to go through. They were so patient with us and let us take our time to say goodbye. We have always felt that they truly do care for our little family members and we appreciate it.

I have three dogs that they have been seeing for over 5 years. Last year one dog broke its leg. They were short on staff during covid and could not see him for three months! This year I call with a dog that won't eat, and because they have not seen my dogs in over a year I am now a new customer and they are not taking any new customers. Unbelievable! Is that what vets have become?

Thanks of stuff for helping to us, she's nice girl I called many vet hospitals about our cat got fella we was so worried but their told us we don't have appointment. Then we find at Yelp Princvalle pet hospital, she told us the same. But then she came in parking lot and find us. Said if our the counter it's ok come I have some product for your cat, anyway we're happy with her

The staff here is kind and my pups love Dr. Igeta! We've brought them here a few times. It's conveniently located about 10 minutes away from us and is one of the nicer veterinary offices I've visited. They make sure to make us feel welcome and they know how to calm my pups down when they're nervous : thank you for being such a friendly office!

I've been bringing my dog here for the past few years and I have to say that Dr. Fitzgerald is my go-to each time. My dog has seen a handful of veterinarians at this location, but I feel that Dr. Fitzgerald has provided the best services as she is so patient, empathetic, and generous. She really takes the time to listen to your concerns and does a thorough job of doing her exams.

I also like how she doesn't just hand over a printed estimate of recommended services and pushes it on people as I've experienced that before at other places. She acknowledges that these services could be costly and gives you the space and time to think things through before making a decision. She's always a pleasure to talk to and is very gentle with my dog. I've had many dogs over the years and have gone to multiple pet hospitals, and I'd say that Dr. Fitzgerald makes it in my top two favorite veterinarians. And yes, I only have two favorites :

I have never had a team of such supportive, compassionate and caring veterinary staff take care of my Beau. Through the whole difficult process of suddenly having to let my golden retriever go, they were so very kind, helpful and sincere to me and my pup. They took the time to explain everything to me, make sure I was okay and provided such kind and comforting words. This is so rare. Thank you all so much for helping me through such a difficult and painful process with such kindness. I can't recommend the staff enough.

The Doctors and staff at Princevalle Pet Hospital are some of the nicest and most sincere we met who Le living in Gilroy. They are concerned about our pets well being and are compassionate when talking to us. As any pet owner and lover knows our pets are an important of our family.

Our Otis has been a patient here for approx 8 years and he has always been treated with exceptional care! Our last visit was above and beyond exceptional when Dr Igeta helped us through his last emergency.she was willing to help us even after hours! We are very grateful. Her compassion and dedication are unmatched! Thank you Dr Igeta!

Great place. The inside is very clean and welcoming. The Vets I've been to previously were dirty and I didn't even feel comfortable sitting. The doctors are kind and solved my yorkiepoo's ear issue with minimal treatment. I went as a second opinion and I'm glad I did because the vet I went to in Hollister insisted on a costly surgery with a long painful recovery. This was avoided here and my dog was out of pain within days and I avoided an expensive unnecessary surgery.

Never been here before and my 12 year old shepherd was not eating and was not getting up. Needless to say we had to put him down. From the office staff to Dr. Okumura were OUTSTANDING! They treated us like family from the start and could not have been more impressed!

I appreciate that they were able to work in my dog who is not a regular client of theirs while visiting family. Most of the staff was beyond friendly and helpful, and overall treatment was more than sufficient for him. It would be 5 stars but I had my own reservations on a few sentiments that were made, though nothing that would keep me from recommending them in a bind.

The staff is kind to my senior dog who gets nervous around people. Dr Fitzgerald even goes out of the way to recommend the best treatment plans that fit my budget. However, the clinic is bad about keeping to schedule. It's almost pointless calling ahead to schedule an appointment because we wait over 15-30 minutes after the appointment should start before being seen.

One time we were sitting there an hour before the vet saw us, and not one member of the staff checked in or apologized for the inconvenience. Right now I've been on hold over 10 minutes trying to call and ask about my dog's bloodwork. All of this displays a lack of organization and professionalism on their part. It sucks because they're one of the few veterinary clinics in town and they have overall fantastic veterinary care, but.

It doesn't take much to acknowledge the client by stating you're running behind schedule and apologize for it. That's basic customer service! Just know that of you try to schedule an appointment with this clinic to do it on a day that you're off or don't have work planned the rest of that day.

I moved to the area a few months ago and went to several vets until I found Princevalle and Dr Igeta! The staff was so welcoming and Dr Igeta actually got down on her knees and examined Zeppelin from head to toe. I found out it was her first day at Princevalle. They really picked a good doctor! She listened to his changes and the issues I have been having with him. He's a bulldog. Say no more! We visit often and call for advise and we are always welcomed with a smile and provided the information we need. We will see you all soon! Thanks! Dorothy

Great staff! By far best vet around. Dr. Fitzgerald even took the time to call and check on our cat yesterday evening a couple days after her testing. She is amazing. Highly recommend this facility.

The Veterinarian's here are very caring and the Vet technicians are also very caring. The only thing I do not like about this facility is they don't have an on-site ultrasound machine. It has to be scheduled out which is ridiculous! Had to take my dog to the emergency room for an ultrasound which ended up costing me double

Dr. Colbert was amazing. She was not at all intimidated by my kitty's complaining or threats during her exam. (She has not played nice with other vets & vet techs.) This put me, and surprisingly, my kitty at ease. We had to put our beloved kitty down due to no fault of the vet or hospital. They were very sensitive to our situation, even brought us back to a private room so we could have time to say goodbye. Everyone was compassionate & treated us and our kitty respectfully. Leslie was an especially lovely person at the front desk to work with.

Dr. Fischer removed Cancer from my beautiful Yellow Lab Buddy. It never came back. As far as I am concerned she gave me 7 extra years with my best friend. She looked after my 2 Labs in their later years, all the way to the end. Now she looks after my new puppy & I feel good about that. Dr. Fitzgerald is also Fantastic! The entire staff is great here. I drive 40 minutes to get here, but no complaints.

We love the vets at this hospital. They are fantastic, friendly, and honest. We moved from another local vet hospital because they nickel and dimed us and these vets have a straight forward pricing plan. Our only gripe is that their newly certified vet techs are extremely judgmental to owners who acquire dogs before 8 weeks. We acquired a five week old lab and on two separate visits, my hubs and I both had to endure scolding by the vet techs who checked us in.

We love dogs. In our mind, people will get rid of litters because they cannot afford to care for dogs. We CAN afford to provide an awesome life for our four legged friends and we obviously care about their health. The scolding makes us feel like we shouldn't bring the dogs in for check-ups. Today, we have received a call from a guy who is clearing our his litter of four week old pups. Yep, we are likely to nurse the little baby to be a loving well mannered dog.like the rest of our little babies. However, we are actually contemplating going to another place for shots until she gets older than 8 weeks so we can avoid the scolding and judgement from the vet techs.

I've been coming to this vet for years. Mostly because they are one of the few in the area that work with birds. The vet is pretty decent as she has Parrots herself but getting an appointment on a Saturday is a HUGE pain in the ass. You have to book your appointment about 2 months in advance. EVERY single time I arrive for my appointment I ALWAYS have to wait.

Sometimes for about a half hour. If I make an appointment for 10am and don't get seen until 10:30 I might as well just stay at home for another half hour. Quite a few times, (including this week), I will book an appointment and then they call a couple days ahead of my appointment and cancel! I got a message on my machine yesterday that I need to reschedule my appointment for this Saturday.

Not only that but my original appointment was for 10am and they tell me that the earliest appointment they have for the next Saturday is noon! If I had wanted a noon appointment I would have booked a noon appointment. Bottom line is if there was another vet in the area that did birds I would not be coming to this one.
