The entire staff at Park West Vet is outstanding! They always make our pets feel like VIPs when we walk through the door. The vets are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The amazing customer service and personalized approach set them apart from other practices. Our dogs are not huge fans of trips to the vet and one suffers from anxiety, so the fact that the staff are experts at the fear-free practice approach makes the whole experience a pleasure.

Dr. Schmidt and team are awesome. He really cares about our boys and takes time to answer every question we have. The boys love him and all the staff which makes it really easy to bring them to the vet. We don't feel rushed at the appointment. Everyone takes time to love on the pups and then give answers to all of our concerns.

Dr Butler and the staff of Park West are awesome. I left to go to a Facebook and Next Door vet who is less costly. Three visits and only one vet sighting but charged. You get what you pay for! My little guy gives me such love and pleasure so he DESERVES the best vet! Thanks Park West for your fantastic care!

Our experiences with Park West Vet have always been positive. They are caring, compassionate animal lovers who have taken the time to communicate thoroughly with us about our dogs' needs. We trust them with our babies! Their attention to, and compassion for, our dogs is what we appreciate most about them.

Wonderful first impression on our initial visit, from the moment I walked into the door and was warmly greeted and taken immediately to a room to the easy checkout process. Very considerate, detailed and non-rushed care from both the tech and the vet. I was provided with reasonable options on treatment approaches and costs. Had a great experience all around. The kind, caring attitude of the staff is what makes Park West stand out!

Park West is an incredible veterinary facility. Everyone is very friendly and responsive. We received not great news about our dog and we so appreciated the honesty and compassion from Dr. Schmidt. He took his time explaining everything and made sure all of our questions were answered.

It's sometimes difficult finding a good vet office that you also can fully trust with your fur babies. But Park West has brought that comfort to our family. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. Even when you call the office you're greeted with a friendly and warm person. Dr. Brogie puts so much care and time into explaining everything from a-z. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of our cats and dog!

Friendly, prompt, attentive, knowledgeable and reasonable. That's all we can ask for when it comes to caring for our pets. Called in the morning and an appointment was available in the afternoon. They treated our cat with affection and care. Terrific place and recommend them highly.

We love Dr Schmidt and also Dr Jay, all the staff are so kind and welcoming. this is our second set of male silkies that we are taking back to Parkwest Vet. Dr Schmidt is wonderful.

Wanted to switch our vet and since we live down the road we thought Park West Vet Associates would be perfect for Our 12 year old yellow lab, Butters. We had a minor concern about Butter's ear arise Thursday, I reached out to see if there was a possibility of any availability sooner than the appointment we had scheduled for 2 weeks out for his yearly exam- and they were able to get us in today (even had an opening for us friday) The entire staff was friendly, and amazing. Butters loved all of staff!

They treated us and Butters like we were family, and they took amazing care of our old man & he got plenty of love. We had virtually no wait, and were professional and are true dog lovers! I wish I tried Park West Vet Associates sooner, but they have gained a customer for life. We will continue to return for Butters yearly exams and vet visits. Truly a great staff, from the receptionists(?) at the front, to the vet tech, and then the Vet. I will recommend them to all. Thank you for fitting us in and taking care of our Butter man!

Highly recommend Park West Vet! They love to see our Lab, Gertie and she just can't get enough of the staff there! Dr Schmidt is so patient and kind. He takes the time to love on your pet. He will answer all your questions without feeling rushed. We couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

The vets and techs work tremendously hard to care for my dog, who is overly anxious and can get aggressive. She is a Belgian Malinios, so nervous behavior isn't uncommon. My husband and I are so grateful to have found them. Cleo's no longer traumatized after vet visits, and we are extremely satisfied with how she's treated. The time, care, love and patience that Cleo is greeted with every time she comes here, is what makes Park West Veterinary the place to go.

Amazing service. Very caring and warm. Knowledgeable and upfront. I've practiced medicine for 25 years (with 2 legged humans), and just feel the medicine practiced in this office is exemplary. Call backs and working us in with our 4-legged family member

Very quick and straight forward. They were very accommodating to my schedule even when I had to change it last minute. Super friendly and transparent with everything. They made sure my dog was comfortable. The place was clean and the environment was overall great. They even had a follow-up call and made sure I was educated on anything that may concern the health and comfort of my dog.

The staff at Park West Veterinary are professional and kind. They are super patient with our more anxious "family" members. The office and exam rooms are spacious and clean and Dr. Brogie explained all aspects of care and treatment as well as options to choose or not choose. I felt very comfortable with the care provided for our 3 fur babies. The patience and calming nature of the staff to make our pets feel less anxious!

I used Park West Veterinary years ago before I moved from Mt. Pleasant. Now that I have returned I am so happy to have them care for my "kids". The prompt appointment, knowledge and responsiveness make them the obvious choice!

Where do I even begin? Every single one of the human beings @ Park West is an absolute angel. I am completely overwhelmed by their level of care and empathy to my pets, who unfortunately have crossed the bridge, both within 6 months of each other. Needless to say, I've been a frequent flyer with them. From their client coordinators to their specialist doctors, you are receiving top-tier care with these folks. Frankly, I am at a loss for words for the outpouring of love and diligence shown to my pets. I've had animals for my whole life and have seen many practices and doctors.

Nothing will ever compare to the treatment I've received at Park West. These folks know what's up. When you're stressed, they feel for you. Every single piece of their protocol is designed with your pet's comfort in mind. Their fear-free practice makes everything so much better for your pet. Their level of empathy for your case is unmatched.

Their equipment is state of the art. Their staff is happy. All of these things mean so much to me as a client entrusting them with the care of my furry family members. When I had to say goodbye to my sweet Biggie Smalls (today), I didn't even need to check in. They knew who I was immediately and put me in a quiet room with soft blankets for my kitty.

For those few precious moments, I felt that they loved my pet as much as I did. They felt my pain. Dr. Mauer, Dr. Jones, Dr. Butler, vet techs Vanessa, Amanda, Julie. I will never forget you and the love you showed to my babies. Bless you all.

Park West Vet was very helpful with the medical emergency we had with our dog. They were able to see her on very short notice without an appointment. My wife and I were very pleased with their professionalism and will be using them in the future.

My furkids are always treated like family! That means everything as I know you take care of them as you would your own. The staff is top notch. They are warm, welcoming and professional.

I love the entire staff. I love that the office is mask optional. I love the I can take my animal into a room and the entire process is completed in that room. I'm very grateful to be able to enter and not have to have my pet go in without me. Quick and friendly appointments.

The waiting room/exam rooms at Park West Veterinary associates are the nicest that I've ever seen. even nicer than most 'people doctors!' More importantly, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and you can tell that they have all of their systems in place to deliver excellent care and communication. So glad to have found them!

We came to Park West Vet at the recommendation of our cat groomer. We had a sick senior cat and desperately needed a vet that could honestly and compassionately direct us in the proper end of life care for our sick boy. At our last vet we seemed to get the run-around and were frustrated with a lack of collaborative communication and compassion. Coming to Park West Veterinary as a new client has been an amazing experience and was a breath of fresh air.

The client care team was able to schedule a last minute appointment with Dr. Schmidt and I could not be more impressed. Dr. Schmidt and the entire client care team went above and beyond in every way! We drafted a care plan for him that was.

From early life treatment to end of life treatment I cannot say enough good things about this team and their compassion and true attention to detail as it relates to the care they provide.

We are beyond grateful for the care and compassion shown by the Park West Vet staff for our sweet Scout. He suddenly became very ill last Friday and Park West Vet Assoc. was the only one of several vets I. called who could see him-they got me in within an hour of calling. It turned out to be quite serious so we were truly thankful they made time to squeeze us in with such short notice.

They took such thorough care of him. We now have answers and he is well on the mend. We are so pleased that we are switching care for both of our chihuahua mixes to Park West. Thank you!

My dog, Winnie, was spayed at Park West Veterinary and we were very happy with the entire process. I heard from Dr. Jones before and after the surgery on the day of, received through instructions from him when I picked my dog up, and got a call the next morning, checking on Winnie. Her incision is healing very nicely and she has been comfortable throughout. Every staff member who we met was friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

I have been going here since I moved from Miami. They are an excellent caring practice. Everyone is very loving with my 6lb Yorker, Milo. The attention received Is amazing and they follow up after the Appointment every single time. The way they operate during COVID is exceptional. They run everything very smoothly!

5 stars doesn't seem to be enough. Where do I begin. Last Saturday we woke up to a very sick kitty. We rushed our beloved Louie to Park West and were treated with the best care possible. Dr Schmidt was. attentive, kind and knowledgeable. He saved our cats life, literally! Being it was a Saturday and they weren't open Sunday, we knew we wouldn't hear from them until Monday morning.

Sure enough 8 am Monday morning our phone rang and we were delighted to inform Dr. Schmidt Louie had done well over the last 36 hrs! We will always be thankful for the kind and attentive service we have received from Park West. They have gone above and beyond what our expectations were! From the bottom of our hearts thank you!

Dr Schmidt and the techs are always kind and professional. Dr Schmidt truly cares about our pets, and he communicates well with us, even during this awkward COVID time when we can't meet face to face.

I wasn't going to write this review, because I spoke with the office manager after my negative experiences here in hopes they would be improved, but they were not addressed and the issues in communication there persisted, so I believe it's fair for me to write this review now. I tried use this vet for my precious lab's TPLO surgery for CCL tear due to their online marketing for skilled TPLO surgery.

First appointment was a disaster, no communication amongst staff.no one knew why we were there. I was scheduled to meet surgeon then was told after I got there that I'd have to wait two hours to meet him, after I clearly told the scheduler prior to the appointment that I needed the first appointment of the day with both the vet and surgeon because of my work schedule.

The regular vet who saw my lab didn't even seem to realize we were there for a TPLO assessment and not to transfer care there. She was just doing a basic intake appointment. Prior to appointment, I was told by staff that the surgery would be around $4000, but wasn't told the first appointment would be over $660. Then I tired again to reach out to them, but they did not have correct medical records for my dog, causing so much unnecessary stress and back and fourth calls and emails.

If they would have actually read my first email and looked to see what was going on, they wouldn't have sent me an email with incorrect and concerning information. In short, because of all of this I would highly recommend staying away from this vet for a skilled procedure like TPLO, if they can't even organize their staff and medical records or communicate between their staff or patients.

Professional, talented veterinarians coupled with compassionate & thorough care, cheerful & skillful techs, modern processes, and a state-of-the-art facility. Over the last 25 years, my family has always included multiple rescued dogs & cats. Without a doubt, Park West Veterinary is the best facility ever!

They were very helpful when my Great Dane became sick. Park West was even able to get is the special dietary food we needed for him. Everyone was so nice and professional. Highly recommend Park West Veterinary!

Such an amazing experience bringing my dog here. My dog had just gotten out of an emergency overnight visit due to pneumonia and has had years of health issues. I previously had had a week from hell with her, thinking it was going to be time to put her down she seemed that sick. She has been nonstop vomiting and couldn't keep food or water down.

She was also on a TON of medication that was also coming up with the vomit. Being new to the area, I didn't have a primary veterinarian yet so I came across Park West on yelp and made an appointment with Dr. Schmidt. The office is beautiful and I was brought into a room almost immediately which was nice because with past vet experiences, i needed to wait a while with my dog who isn't fond of other dogs in the waiting area. Dr. Schmidt came in and sat with me for a full hour and discussed my dogs health issues and her history.

He reviewed her files PRIOR to my arrival which was so amazing. I didn't have to explain anything to him, he was already aware of it all. It was really nice to have someone take the time to sit and really go over everything and explain things in ways you can understand. Time is so important for everyone and i feel like they really made great use of mine.

My follow up appointment was even better. He reviewed and cut down a bunch of her meds, which ultimately helped her and my wallet. Proud to say shes doing so much better now and is a happy little pup. Since then, he has made follow up calls. Such a great vet and I know for future issues, she'll be in great hands.

We came here through providence 6 years ago and our dogs (and us) are treated so well that we wouldn't go anywhere is. They're almost like family. Dr. Butler has won our complete confidence. You add a category-I add 5 Stars. They submit everything for insurance and that in itself is wonderful.

My French Bulldog Madeline is more than a pet. She is family. She also has a full wardrobe, but that's another story. I adored my vet back in Atlanta, so I just assumed wherever I found for her to go in Mount Pleasant would pale by comparison. Wrong! Park West Veterinary Associates is amazing. Everyone who works here couldn't be any nicer.

Initially we'd been seeing whichever vet was available when we needed an appointment. However, Madeline somehow scratched her eyeball at doggie daycare and we wound up seeing Dr. Butler three times in one week. Madeline's eyeball is fine now thank goodness. After this whole ordeal (way worse for me than the dog), we only see Dr. Butler. His bedside manner is better than any human or dog doctor I've ever encountered.

Major shout out to all of the vet techs for being able to trim her nails and clean her ears without any protest as well. Sure, no one wants to go to the vet, pets and humans alike, but Park West Veterinary is wonderful. They treat my princess like family while giving her the best treatment possible and that's what counts most.

Face it, no one really wants to take a precious fur kid to the Vet. the visits are expensive and the news is usually not good; however, there's something about Park West Veterinary Associates that makes me actually schedule Wellness visits to keep Teddy's health in check. Maybe, it's the friendly, knowledgeable techs and front office staff. or Dr. Jay's (Jay Goldsmith, DVM) great 'bedside manner'. or, his 'right on' ability to nail a diagnosis and get an actionable treatment plan going. or, the fact that he returns calls, or, that I can purchase my furkid's dental hygiene products at the same price as on Amazon (and save the shipping), or, that the practice is compassionate and offers CareCredit (should I need it), or, . Maybe, the best way to sum up our relationship is that Teddy does not start to shake and cry when we pull up and if he's happy. that means the world to me!
