Advanced Animal Care - David E Steele

Absolute negligence. They sat on positive Giardia results for two of my dogs for 30 days. They did not inform me of the positive results even after weeks of back and forth between myself and the front desk staff as I was sending them pictures and expressing concern over both of my dogs daily stool issues. It took me going to another vet and them getting the records and asking me “were they never treated for Giardia?” Not only did they let my dogs suffer for a month, but I find out their diagnosis the week before Christmas, where I was planning to go visit family who has dogs in the home. This has been ruined by their negligence, as it could’ve been treated a month ago. Office staff, while used the words “I’m sorry” did not express empathy properly and did not have an explanation for how this slipped through the cracks for so long. I only hope this is the last time such a negligent mistake is made. I went to advance due to their good reviews and recommendations. Be cautious if you chose to go with this vet. For details: the documents show my dogs test results as positive on 11/19/24 and they did not send any communication or medication whatsoever. No conversation about Giardia until I addressed the records today.

The level of care as outstanding! They truly care and listen. Excellent treatment guidelines with a personal touch. Stellar staff and very reasonable pricing. I come to Mt. Pleasant from Murrells Inlet.they are just that good!

Dr Leslie Steele and her staff was absolutely Amazing! They spent alot of time with me and my dog. They showed compassion for both myself and my dog, as my dog does like to go to the Vet. I am so happy and relieved I found Dr. Steele (both Leslie and David), they are a No Fear Veterinarian animal care and make your visit a Stress Free visit. I highly recommend Advance animal Care. They understand and care for the animals that are scare of going to the Vet.

We brought in our dog Molly for a routine check and shots. The staff is always nice and very knowledgeable. Also fun to see the cats that stay there. We also bring our two cats and will continue to do so. Happy customers.

Wonderful caregivers! They took care of my fur baby while we were there in the area for the weekend. My Yorkie developed some breathing issues and they were very quick to assess her and get her back to her normal self. I would recommend them a million times over!

Dr. Leslie Steele was warm and compassionate. The staff and techs were very friendly and engaging. Overall a good experience. Our patient Dexter seemed to be at ease as well.

I've had experiences with all three docs and it's been great each time. I'm never left with lingering questions or worries. Been coming here for over a year now, through yearly exams and a full heartworm treatment for one of my dogs. I fully trust my pups will be taken care of to the best of their ability and with smiling, kind faces!

I was traveling in an RV down to Florida and wanted to get my pup check out after a couple episodes of vomiting. The wonderful people got me in the same day. Quality, professional service at a very reasonable price. I would recommend! Thanks AAC Mt. Pleasant!

My two dogs get the best care ever at Advanced Animal Care. As one is now a senior, they are so good at taking the time to go over all of him and discuss it with me. I've seen all three doctors in Mt. Pleasant and am Happy with each of them. I think their prices are also reasonable!
