While Norwich, Connecticut, and surrounding communities do not have exceptionally high rates of infectious diseases in companion animals, rabies and a range of other diseases are present. Additionally, some of these diseases, such as rabies, are zoonotic, which means they can be passed from your pet to you and your family.

The doctors and staff of All Friends Animal Hospital live in and around Norwich and take great pride in the communities we serve. We also believe that in order for us to truly be a family oriented, community-based practice that we must look beyond our facility and share our medical skills. This is why we actively support our local Humane Society, numerous town animal control departments and many area animal rescue organizations.

I would not bring my pets to anyone besides these guys they're great they're caring, they know what they're talking about. You know people sometimes say oh they're pricey you know what, if you love your animals they shouldn't see a price tag. They give the best care possible, they love your pets like they love their children.

Wonderful, friendly staff and knowledge veterinarians. I've heard from other people they're expensive, but they're worth every penny when your pets care is of utmost importance. I've been going here for quite a few years. Dr. Tangari is the vet I see, but on short notice I've brought my pets to see other doctors as well and have not been let down thus far. Highly recommend!

It's taken me a while to write this. If I could do 0 stars, I would. This place was good to me for a long time with my first dog, so when I got another dog I thought I would bring him here as well. I took my puppy in multiple times with multiple issues, and he was always dismissed and they would tell me "he is perfectly normal". I always knew something was wrong, and it was incredibly frustrating to see nothing being done.
My puppy wasn't eating or drinking water for about 3 days, and when I brought him in, they told me I could let him go a week without food or water and he would be perfectly fine. Again, nothing was done The last thing he ever got done was blood work, and they told me his blood looked very abnormal but he should be okay. He passed away about a week later. Probably the most heartbreaking thing I've gone through in my entire life.

I love the service here from all the technicians and veterinarians. They strive to keep the office very clean. Right now, they have a very easy process for COVID19 precautions. It seemed like they made sure to prepare every single little thing for my dog before bringing her in because she was so quick! I was nervous because I wasn't able to be with her through a few tests and vaccinations, but she came back out perfectly normal!
Even before coronavirus procedures, different vet appointments have really been a source of anxiety for her, but she takes very well to the amazing staff at All Friends. I really respect how they don't push too hard to get "all" the testing done, but insist on the basic preventative measures for your dog. I'm able to get HeartGuard and NexGuard right here for a reasonable price, which in my opinion are the best two for keeping your dog healthy and bug free. Their vaccinations aren't as expensive as other vet offices either for some reason! I'm really happy that we've found such an awesome place to keep up on Buffy's health.

This place is a money pit! We've taken our dog back and forth 4 times now at $250 a pop for them to clip her nails- they never did it. Always a recommendation to give her another drug of some sort(which I also pay for) then bring her back for nothing. We ultimately had to find a way at home to just do it ourselves. We took our dog back last month. for a fishy odor, they claimed it was her anal sacs and that they drained them.
A day later she has the exact same odor as when we took her the first time. We ended up taking her to norwichtown vet for another opinion who actually gave a REAL EXAMINATION and an ultrasound, come to find out she has 6 sacs on her uterus- one is centimeters from.

I took a stray kitty here for her first check-up, and they were very sweet and understanding even though she was running all over the place scared. They took very good care of my Chloe, they were super gentle. and friendly. They even called to check on her and see how she was getting along with our other fur babies. Loved it here. She's doing awesome.

I recently rescued a 12yr old Persian Maggie. Dr Tangari and staff took care of Maggie, and got her back to health, after being brought there, after an unfortunate situation. I brought Maggie in today for a follow up and to meet the vet whom, helped her. I absolutely loved her, she took the time to explain everything to me. It’s very clear she’s in the right profession and her love for animals, is evident. The staff as well were all pleasant. Extremely grateful she helped Maggie, and I was able to adopt her and give her a great life, in her remaining golden years.
