They certainly know how to handle even the most hyper active of breeds like my bouncing and flailing 2 year old Husky with severe allergies. Appointments can take awhile, so be prepared, even if you are scheduled in, emergencies may get them off track a bit. Everyone is very nice and understanding, the vets and vet techs were not intimidated by my large flailing dog zipping around at 100 mph. I trust them, and that's all you can ask from your Vet really,

This was my first time at White House Animal Hospital and it was a very nice experience. Everyone was extremely nice and the facilities were clean and everything was explained well and reasonably priced. I think Dash and I have found a vet to call home! Thanks so much!

Took my dog for a teeth cleaning. Asked for a Friday appt due to scheduling conflict. Quoted $200 and was told doc doesn't do cleanings on Fridays. Doc takes the appointment and we received a phone call saying my dogs teeth were good during cleaning except for 2 back teeth. I get a $700+ and find out they removed 8 of my dogs teeth (all the bottom fronts b/c they were slightly loose). Was explained the teeth "could get infected." Not that they were infected.

They had to suture half his mouth for a whim. Not for anything bad. $700 for a 30 minute teeth cleaning/ tooth extraction procedure. My wife ( a registered nurse) asked to pick him up from the hospital and they said we would like to observe him and charged us for it. Got an attitude for that question. As if being ripped off for ripping good teeth out was enough, getting charged for a full day of watching a dog in a kennel is ridiculous when my wife was fully capable of doing the job as she does this type of work daily.

Even when I told them at the facility when I scheduled the appt to make a note of it. No notes were made. They lost a customer/pet for sure and I will not recommend taking any pets there. We were told it won't affect your dog too much. I write this as I'm laying in bed not able to sleep b/c my dog is whining all night due to the pain.

I would recommend this vet to anyone who's pet needs medical care or boarding. We recently took a 6 day trip and the friendly staff at WHAH took special care of our pup while we were gone. As requested by us, they updated her shots, gave her a bath and took care of a nail bed infection that we asked them to look at. We are very happy with the care she received and we will continue to take our pets there as needed.

The team at White House Animal Hospital was quick to respond when our dog was attacked at a nearby campground. They took good care of our Lucy and communicated with us following her surgery and through the evening as she recovered. We are so grateful that they were there for us. Being several hours away from our own vet, we are comforted knowing that there is such quality care available to us nearby. Highly recommend.

Dr. Younger and his team were pretty amazing today. Our furbaby Lilly, while outside pottying this morning had issues with her right leg/hip. We didn't know where we were going to go so we stopped by here hoping that if they couldn't see us without an appointment they would at least recommend where we could take Lilly. They took us right in and Dr. Younger informed us it was partial paralysis related to Lilly having a bulging disc.

She was so comfortable and such a good girl while being examined and treated by the Dr. We are hoping for a speedy recovery process but willing to take as long as we need to get her better. Thank you Dr. and also to your team for showing us compassion and helping us feel comfortable with the diagnosis. It really means alot. We hope to come back in 1 week with wonderful news that Lilly is back to herself and walking.

I give this facility 100 s. UPDATE 4/15/20: Our precious Lilly never regained her paralysis. We had to make the ultimate decision that no pet owner ever wants to make. She loved being able to go out in the yard and walk around and enjoy life. The paralysis affected both her hind legs and even though we purchased a pet wheelchair, lifter and many other items to assist her hind legs her quality of life and normalcy that she knew and loved was gone.

We knew Dr. Younger and his team did everything possible to help Lilly but the damage to her spine couldn't be reversed so we had to let her go and she got her precious angel wings on March 25th. The amount of empathy as well as sympathy from Dr. Younger and his team made a difficult decision somewhat bearable on our part. A week later we received Lilly's cremated remains in a beautiful decorated wooden box that we keep in our living room and light a candle for an hour every week.

She will always be our PERFECT little Angel in our hearts and now gets to be Gods PERFECT Angel. We can't express how grateful we were to have such an amazing Vet and staff that truly cares for your animal just as much as you do. If you have a need for pet medical services this is the BEST one to take them to.

Dr. Link has been our family's vet for thirty plus years. In the past, he took such special care of our beloved beagles Socks and Freckles. More recently, he and his staff provided TLC for our precious Cocker Spaniel, Lady Honey Bear VIII, during her bout with chronic Kidney Disease. We are blessed to have a new AKC Registered Cocker in our family, Lady Maggie Bear.

It is comforting to know that she couldn't have a better staff looking after her medical and grooming needs. Over the years I have returned; because I know I will be treated like family. White House Animal Hospital provides professional service with a hometown touch!
