We would like to introduce our fantastic owner, Dr. Geraldine Cretacci. An Illinois native, Dr. Cretacci has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2011 after graduating from University of Illinois. She has a special interest in internal and preventative medicine and animal behavior, all of which we are very excited to see her bring to the table at March.

Growing up with pets most of my life has allowed me experience just how much meaning a furry little creature can bring to someone's life, as well as the rest of their family's. It is this strong impact that our pets have on us and us on them, that has driven me to do what I do. Being a veterinarian and having that privilege to help you make the best diagnostic and therapeutic decisions in caring for your pets is a role that I really enjoy and value.
Heartland is a no-kill animal shelter that typically has 50 dogs and even more cats available for adoption! The Animal House is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Huntley, IL. They might be a bit farther from us than other shelters, but they have some adorable cats and dogs available for adoption!
Here at March Animal Hospital, we always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary practice in Arlington Heights. We know you will be very happy with our services. Our team is devoted to staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs to maintain your pet's optimal health.
We understand that bringing your feline companion to the animal hospital can be very stressful for them. This is why we are doing everything we can to make the experience as positive as possible for your cat. Clients with felines should enter though the back entrance, please ring the bell once you arrive.

March Animal Hospital is Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Extremely Friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist's were very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Murray was Awesome! Extremely Friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful with My Fur Baby. I brought my 5 month old puppy here. This was our first time at March Animal Hospital and it definitely won't be our last. They all treated my puppy as if she was their own. If you are looking for a Vet for your Fur Baby look no further you won't be disappointed. Good Luck and GOD Bless.

My dog, my boy-o, had pain in his knee but could still walk with only a slight limp. This office, and Dr. Amy Thatcher decided to sedate him for X-rays. The reason for the sedation was so they could put him in positions that they other wise couldn't, due to his pain. Once we took our boy home, and the sedation wore off, he was unable to walk at all!
He was in way worse shape than when we took him in. This office claimed it was arthritis. So, we got different opinions for 3 other doctors. Three other doctors confirmed that his knee ligament was completely torn. In the following days we tried to keep him comfortable but he wouldn't get up to go to the bathroom. He was other wise alert, he wanted to get up but simply couldn't.
In the end, my best friend and companion after 10 years had to be put down. I blame this office and Dr. Amy Thatcher. This doctor wouldn't even return our multiple calls to see what could've went wrong. Only take your pets here to get their flea and tick medicine, or get nails trimmed. They are absolutely terrible with anything beyond that. We had been with this vet for over 20 years, and they were great in the past.
They are now under a new owner and everything has gone down hill. During COVID, when you're not allowed to attend your pet in the office, I what other terrible things they did to their patients. It hurts to write these things, it hurts to know someone we trusted treated my boy with such negligence.

I love everyone at March Animal Hospital! You can tell everyone there genuinely loves animals. My pup and I especially love Dr. Singleton! She is the sweetest vet ever. Our first visit she took a good hour to talk to us about our new pup and what to expect. And she continues to spend as much time as needed on the phone with us after our pup's appointment, answering all of our questions. She's so smart and kind, we just love her! I highly recommend March Animal Hospital!

Dr. Singleton and the staff at March have provided exceptional care to our two cats this past year since switching from another vet. Our older cat has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease as well as some other significant health issues, and Dr Singleton has provided the most up to date information and research and incredible care. She is kind, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and we feel thankful for our cats to receive care from her and the staff at March.

I just got my first dog. He was welcomed as if they had been seeing him his whole life. As a first time dog parent, I have a lot of “stupid” questions the staff is so patient with me. Crow is heart worm positive and they were very informative on his treatments. My dog is unusual and he likes going to the vet. We went over once and they decided to delay a shot. The staff was so nice and came out with a treat for him.

There whole staff is amazing! I would never consider going anywhere else! Sadly, I had to put my dog down this past Monday and they made it as easy as possible and they were hurt just as much as I was since over the many years of going there they have gotten to know us very well. Thank you Dr. B for making one of the hardest things I had to do a little bit easier and the love you had for my dog was almost as close as the love I had myself for her.
And thank you Kathy for the support as well! And although I am mention a few names I thank the whole staff there and they are ALL amazing and they truly care about the animals as well as the animal owners and they go above and beyond to diagnose accurately, treat as best as possible and make sure they do all they can. So thank you for making the last moments I had with my dog she not only felt my love she felt yours as well and I will see you again when I am ready for another dog!

I love March Animal Hospital! The entire staff is very friendly and they all show that they genuinely care about my dog. We've been taking our dog there for a year now, ever since we adopted her and every step of the way has been great, through getting vaccines, emergency visits, and helping with severe separation anxiety. Dr. C and Dr. B are very knowledgeable, gentle and caring.
The docs and techs are careful with handling our dog who is very nervous and protective. They aren't forceful or anything. They are patient with all my questions and explain things very clearly. The front desk staff are also very caring and helpful. This is our forever vet :

I brought my dog to March Animal Hospital to see Dr. Cretacci based on a friend's recommendation, and I am so glad I did! Everyone at the office was so friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the care that was given to my dog, and I left confident knowing that I received an accurate diagnosis. So grateful to have been recommended to them!

March Animal Hospital is amazing! It is clear that everyone there truly loves animals and wants the best for them. We have two pointers who always seems to swallow something, puncture themselves, split a nail, etc. and March is always quick to get them in for an appointment (even later hours, too). The front desk staff are so sweet, the vet assistants are gentle and give excellent follow-up, and the doctors are great listeners who are happy to teach you skills to help your pet at home.
They want your pets to be happy and healthy and will do whatever it takes to keep them that way. We're very fortunate that such great care is available to our pups close to home.
