My first visit was an emergency visit. They took great care of my girl. The vet went through everything with me before beginning including cost.he was caring and professional.he also called my home later to see how my girl was doing and to answer any questions. Big difference from her usual vet who could not fit her into their schedule despite it being an emergency. I will continue to use Athens Veterinary Clinic from this point forward .

This was the best vet experience I could have possibly had! They scheduled me in quickly and their prices are affordable. I have an anxious dog, but she came out happy and they said she did very well!

Dr Aanestad explained in detail what could be causing our dog's skin issues. He asked us many questions regarding environment, feeding and prior care. Very professional and thorough. We have found a new Vet!

I always have a great experience, Dr Marshall takes the time to come and describe everything in detail and even explains costs and can help you do everything possible in your budget and clearly wants the best for your furry friend. All the ladies there are also super friendly and great at helping answer my questions. They are even able to fit me in same day if my cat has any concerning problems! I am so glad I have found them, will probably still make the trip to them after I graduate college

What a relief (after some bad experiences at another local vet clinic) to find such a professional, caring, responsive veterinary clinic here in Athens. I highly recommend Dr. Aanestad and his staff. Prices are very fair, and you know up front the cost of what they're proposing to do. A top notch experience!

Dr. Aanestad was the most helpful vet we have been to! He was very clear about all of our options to treat my itchy cat and very personable. My girl is usually a basket case after a trip to the vet and this time she came back out very calm. You can tell the staff is great with animals. Not to mention, very reasonably priced!

We are from out of state, visiting relatives, and our very old cat got sick. The clinic was able to fit her in today. The vet was very knowledgeable, and the vet techs were so nice, and taught me how to do the treatments our cat needs. I am feeling hopeful, and I would definitely recommend them.
