My girls Layla and Lucy love Dr. Harris! It is wonderful to have a vet that truly enjoys my dogs. Years ago I had a vet that didn't care for small dogs at all and that left a lasting impression. I don't want to see a vet that doesn't truly care about and appreciate my girls. Dr. Harris sits in the floor with them after their exam and let's them love all over him and he reciprocates with kisses and hugs.

He is exceptionally kind and thorough with them. All the staff are great, but Michelle, Kirsten, Kat, Debbie and Christine all stand out. Dr. Padgett is a wonderful surgeon for orthopedic issues and Andrea for rehab. Several years ago they treated my sweet Westie for CCL tears in both knees. He recovered beautifully with their TLC. When he later had to be euthanized, Dr. Harris and Dr. Padgett were exceptionally kind and loving when I cried with a broken heart.

Everyone was so sincerely sympathetic and heartbroken for me. I have brought my fur babies to Gwinnett Animal Hospital for years and they have all been wonderful. You couldn't find better people to take care of your pets.

I have been taking my animals to Gwinnett Animal Hospital for decades. I even adopted a rescue cat from them once. I have always been impressed with the skill of the doctors there and their approach to the patient. Dr. Harris and Dr. Nancy are wonderful vets. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

Dr. Harris, Dr. Padgett, Michelle and Kristen along with all the other staff have had such an important impact on mine and my dogs lives. I trust them 100% with my pups. Always leading me in the right decisions for them medically, being extremely caring and always taking the extra time to find the perfect treatment plans for them. I am so thankful to have a vet that I can trust

Dr. Brantley is very pleasant and is great with my animals! He is thorough and will spend time discussing your animals health and answering questions. They offer holistic medicine along with conventional which is why I chose them as my vet. My only recommendation would be to allow owners inside with their pets again!

All the 3 Team members, starting with Dr. Churchill and the other two who I interacted with were really nice and great to deal with. You can tell that they care and would like to thank them for the way they deal with clients.

Recognizing: Kirsten, Dr. Harris, Lydia Hughes and Team Thank you for a comforting experience. making my fur-baby and me feel important. My baby has been pretty ill for the past 2.5 months. I decided to transition and established care with Gwinnett Animal Hospital as of yesterday. However, before Dr. Harris and team met my baby, they demonstrated significant compassion. Thank you!

We are a family that includes a cat and a puppy. Our cat was attacked by a neighbor's dog a few years ago and the expert, loving care she received pulled her through to continue living a full life. Our puppy was discovered to have health issues in the middle of his "fear stage." Once again, the concern for us and our dog, the expert care from the Doctors and staff members, and the love for animals has made the difficult issues easier to take on and get through. This practice is one of the best we have found living in three different cities!

I love the entire staff at Gwinnett Animal Hospital. In December of 2021 we reached 10 years of using this location. However, just last year we began with a new service of cat services. Being a brand new cat owner after being a dog parent for so long the entire staff has been very educational and they have been very helpful with some issues that we have had.

We had to put my son's dog, Dewey, to sleep this week, never an easy decision, and as always, the caring and compassion we received from Dr. Churchill and her new assistant were just what we needed at this difficult time. As clients of Gwinnett Animal Hospital for 45 years, I can honestly say that our many pets (horse, dogs, and cats) have always received the best care available and I am so appreciative for that. Thank you to all the staff for all you do! Patti Cagle and family

Everyone is so nice. So caring and professional and prices are fair. Everything is clearly explained. Even during the pandemic with curbside pickup you get one on one with the vets. I am especially grateful to Dr. Churchill for all she did for my senior rescue cat, Lana.

I took my dog Allie here for the first time today and they are WONDERFUL! Dr. Churchill and the Techs did an amazing job with her! I was recommended here by my best friend who brings her babies here and this is Allies forever vet! Super thankful for these women and glad I was able to get told what was going on with my dog and had an explanation before everything they were about to do and they wanted to make sure it was okay before doing so. They 100% care about you and the fur babies! Thank you guys for everything!

I would have given them 5 stars in the past, but they're using the Covid-19 pandemic as an excuse for some shady practices. Took my 7 y.o. cat for an emergency appt. on 8/3/20 for a possible fracture or retained foreign body. Turns out it was a sprained Achilles tendon, but they couldn't even diagnose that much. I had to provide the definitive diagnosis.

Despite being a long-time customer and having extensive medical knowledge (or perhaps because of it), one of the owners (Dr. Churchill) wouldn't let me be present for the examination due to Covid-19. I had no symptoms, no positive test, and was willing to wear a mask. There was no chance of any virus exposure. So, there's not legitimate reason not to allow me to be present.

At Scottish Rite we don't tell parents they can't be in the room for their child's exam. We don't suggest they "try someplace else that may have a different policy" while a family member needs assistance. This is what Dr. Churchill, one of the owners and makers of the policies, did. On top of it, they wouldn't even be so kind as to use my phone to record the exam because "We don't have the staff for that". So, the tech can't press record and prop the phone up on one of the counters in the exam room? Really, you don't have the staff for that? Then, how can you run a legitimate practice so short-handed?

Makes me wonder what they're hiding, because that's the only logical reason to deny my request.

Since Dr. Churchill couldn't even diagnose an Achilles tendon sprain, I can't even be sure they did an exam or that the x-rays were actually of my cat.

Dr. Kevin Brantly is an exception. He's a great and caring vet. It's sad that he's stuck there. Get out of there asap, Dr. Brantly! You're too good for that place.

All of the staff there is wonderful! I just recently switched my 19 year old baby, Ellie, to their office to Dr. Brantly when she needed some dental work done. Her previous vet seemed a little high so I wanted to get a second opinion. Dr. Brantly was great! He spent about 40 minutes with us answering all our questions and getting to know Ellie. His bedside manner is wonderful!

That is what seemed to be lacking at her prior vet. You can tell that everyone there genuinely LOVES animals. Everyone that I have come in contact with has been very friendly and caring! I also was a permanent foster for a dog who recently had to be put down due to a sudden traumatic health event. Andrea and Dr. Z were very sympathetic and let me spend as much time with my baby as needed to say my good-bye.

They didn't make me feel rushed and totally understood that my baby meant the world to me. I can't recommend them enough! I am so happy to have found a place that treats my babies as if they were their own!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We drive 45 mins from Monroe to see Dr. Harris, who gives the most love and compassion I have ever seen out of a veterinarian. We will always bring. our pets to gah and we wouldn't want to see anyone else or trust anyone else with our fur babies!

I cannot say enough good things about this practice! Last night we came across a stray dog in very bad condition. His was skin was crawling with fleas, he has an ear infection, he doesn't seem to hear well, he is terribly thin, he has cataracts and his tail was bleeding. We sheltered him for the night and took him in to the office this morning. They were so good to him!

Not just one staff member, ALL of them! They kept him for the day to clean up and treat, when we picked him up they answered all our questions and gave us good information before taking him home. No animal deserves the neglect this poor boy has been through, but I feel like we are not alone in caring for him. Dr. Padgett and staff, thank you so much for all you your help!!!
