Wonderful customer service and doctors take time to explain everything. Really feels like we're treated like family. Appointments are required now but I got in within the week.

Prompt. Caring. Professional. I'm so glad we found the perfect place to meet all of our pet's needs.

A very unique practice with no appointments, only walk-ins (although mostly curbside at this time), for routine vet needs. Since moving into the area and with vet appointments 1 to 2 months out at local places and a young dog with complicated medical issues which need continually monitoring this practice's unique approach was much needed. My experience with the practice here.and with my dog I have seen a few.are that they are very efficient, thorough, respectful and caring.

The 2 vets which I have spoken with reviewed my dog's extensive history and understood what the priorities are for my dog' s continued health and stability. They were also respectful of the time and effort I have put into providing for my dog's well being. Overall my experience is competent professionals and staff. Update.as of Feb 2022 they are now appointment based.

Not sure this will change again to their original model but good to know for those wanting immediate access. As of April 2022 you can now go with your pet inside without masks too. So happy!

They clearly care about all their patients. Our pets get great care here and things are explained well, options are discussed.

They are fast and attentive. However, their vets are not experienced with luxury cats which is all I own. It puts me in an awkward position for receiving care.

These people showed so much love and compassion to my son and I when putting our ferret down. I am so thankful that they were able to help her pass peacefully and she did not have to continue to suffer.

I can't say enough good things about the professionals at SAH. I've been vetting and boarding my two dogs there for a couple years now. It makes taking trips so much less stressful knowing they are happy and well taken care of. I understand a lot of people get upset with the prices, but if you want high quality care it's going to cost you. Worth every penny!

Our kitty Smokey was attacked by our neighbors dogs on our property. We contacted SAH enroute and they were ready for us on arrival. They were amazing, unfortunately the dogs dislocated her femur and shattered 2 of her lower vertebrae. The damage to our kitty was beyond repair. We had to put her down to our dismay. SAH was amazing in their care and comfort for Smokey and us. They did all they could do for Smokey and helped us say goodbye.

I am a new foster parent for one of the local pet rescues. This is one of the preferred vet offices for the rescue, so I had never been before and had no experience with fostering. Everyone from reception to the vet techs to the veterinarian was kind, informative, patient and efficient. I highly recommend and I see why the rescue I work with puts their trust in this animal hospital.

I've never had services here but every time I find a stray I bring it here to check for a microchip and the team is so friendly and helpful every time.

Dr. P and the entire staff are awesome. So very kind and helpful. They treat your fur babies like their own. So very grateful for them.

Unfortunately I had to bring in my daughter's old dog Buddy because he was hit by a car that morning. He didn't make it. The care and compassion shown was very heartwarming. Thank you.

Was in need of a new vet since moving to the area and I feel so lucky to have found SAH! Dr. J is a saint - so kind. She and her techs are so patient and made the experience easy. The amount of effort put into my pup's visit by she and her staff didn't go unnoticed! Thank you SAH!

They seem to actually care for your pet unlike other vets who are money mills. Everyone is really nice and I like that you don't need an appointment. Bringing the rest of my pets there from now on!

I took my dog to the groomers today they found that he had anal gland ruptured. I called Banfield the vet my dog normally goes to and they couldn’t see him today. So I called Sanford Animal Hospital they were extremely nice. They took some information over the phone and told me to call them when I was outside. They take walk/ins. They came to the car and got him. 10 minutes later the Doctor called and gave me a detailed diagnosis of what was wrong and how to treat it. First time going there and they were extremely nice a helpful

Dr. Kenny took care of Annabelle in a quick and efficient manner alleviating any concerns on my part about her health. I was out of the state when my dog was injured and a friend took her to see Dr. Kenny. Annabelle is just fine and I was able to relax and enjoy the remainder of my trip knowing Dr. Kenny had taken care of my baby girl and made sure she was OK and taken care of.

The more I bring my pets here, the more I love them. Very consistent with their high quality care. I will definitely continue to take my dogs here for all their future vetting.

I am a local house call veterinarian who has been referring clients for walk-in urgent care, dentistry, and other services that I can not provide. I love Sanford Animal Hospital! My customers love them, they are always treated very well. On a professional level, they are always helpful with sharing crucial medical records so that patient care is never compromised. After learning my 2 1/2 yr old Reacue Lab mix was rapidly going lame, I took him to SAH. The compassion & care they rendered were remarkable. There were no surgery options & pain management. Dr Walsh told me to consider acupuncture & laser treatments as they’ve seen wonderful results. After much consideration, I called to schedule the treatment appt.

We are so very blessed to have Dr Petozski, who is trained in the art of acupuncture & her Technician, Tara trained in the laser therapy. He was very anxious in the beginning but now looks forward to his weekly sessions with Tara & Dr P!!! In a manner of weeks, he’s gone from a 3 yr old dog limping & enjoying his last days to a frisky normal 3 yr old Angel!

The vet called me several times to personally explain what was going on & what she recommended & broke the price down to me and they didn't do any services without my consent like I've had happen in the past. Great people, very caring and professional. Sanford Animal Hospital took excellent care of my Shar Pei Mojo and handled his being put to sleep, that dog loved these people even when they boarded him. I highly recommend

They never overcharge, they fixed my dogs ears as ALL other vets failed not with tony bottle drops, they gave me a LARGE bottle and cleaned the ears out first office visits are anout half the proce and they always answer the phone. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Kaiti and Dr Walsh were caring and professional with our dog Koda and didn't lead us on or suggest things that were not medically necessary. You can rest assured that your pet will be taken care of and your money not wasted.

Dr. P and staff went above and beyond to make our emergency visit affordable and they loved our fur baby as their own! I would absolutely recommend this animal hospital. Dr. Maria Kenny was EXTREMELY terrible. Not to mention, the unprofessional customer service from this particular woman. Had such a attitude and proceeded to make smart comments after she thought we hung up the phone. Unnecessary unprofessionalism all because we questioned why our 17 lb dog couldn't get his nails cut without being medicated! However, Dr. Jessica Romanet is fantastic! Furthermore, certainly will be switching vets!

Quick and friendly service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend Dr. Kenny and Dr. P. They take the time to explain any issues or concerns and explain the difference options and prices.

If I could give this clinic no stars I would. Michelle (who answers the phones) is great, friendly, and kind. Beyond that my visit there was a huge waste of time and money. My dog has been vomiting for 7 days, can't keep food down, and this is a pattern over 3 years that is only getting worse. She was given an X-ray and nothing abnormal was found.

We were offered bloodwork (another 160) but told the results probably would be inconclusive because the vet thinks our dog has developed IBS even though she never has diarrhea or some of the other symptoms of IBS. She then recommended prescription dog food and medication. After saying I couldn't pay that much she told me "well this is going to be an expensive process no matter what" I explained AGAIN to her how our dog shakes violently and is inconsolable for days at a time that I needed a better plan moving forward that didn't include our dog being in pain.

Her plan for us was either 100's of dollars in tests and no real clue or what this is or what it might be VS new food and heartburn medication with something that speeds her digestion up. so yeah no real plan and no plan for managing her pain. I can't even give her Tylenol Oh and for the final jab this vet told me I can't come back without proof of rabies or getting her the rabies shot. Even though she is up to date. She seemed more concerned about selling me stuff and forcing a rabies vaccine then she was about the problems our dog is having.

My sweet little dog injured her hip and I was able to call and get seen immediately. The caring and concern of the staff is wonderful. My little dog was in pain and nervous, I was a mess because she was in such pain. They took care of my precious little dog and they showed me kindness and concern and support through the entire process. I cannot thank them enough for what they did.

A very caring staff! We recently had to say good bye to our pet of 18 years, Fluffy. Dr. Potosky helped us with the transition of our beloved pet.

The staff is friendly, the doctors are caring, down to earth, and not in a rush. I love that it's a walk in clinic. The charges are reasonable. I feel good about coming here.

We needed to use them for boarding due to a death in the family. As usual most Vets want to charge a bunch of add ons. Well we declined. Upon picking up my dogs I inquired about the grooming services and nail trim. I was given a round about amount for the grooming and a flat 10 charge for nail trim. Was told that there was no appt necessary to bring in my larger dog for a nail trim.

A few weeks later I made the appt for my smaller dog to be groomed. Let me just say Amanda was very fast and did a great job with my dog. But from the moment I bought him in! I felt like I was harassed to have additional things done to him. Something told me that I should have inquired about the nail trim again. But when I went to pick up my dog, I brought my larger one in for his nails.

Again I was harassed about different things that he may have needed in the future. So needless to say I ended up getting his rabies shot updated that was going to expire next week! And another flea and tick pill! But for some odd reason when my bill was printed out the 10 nail trim was 16 dollars. I don't like being lied to about prices. IT IS DEFINITELY THE PRINCIPAL. BECAUSE I WAS TOLD THE WRONG INFORMATION AND A CREDIT WAS NOT GIVEN TO ME AS A RESULT OF MISINFORMATION. THIS PLACE HAS LOST MY BUSINESS! Before you go please be sure you know exactly the cost of everything and hold them accountable. But honestly I wouldn't go.it is a rip off.

We recently moved here so I decided to take my Booboo here to be groomed. They did an excellent job. The staff there were very friendly and welcoming. They really listened to what I said and asked the way I wanted Booboo groomed. They did exactly what I asked them to do. They will definitely be our groomer from now on. I will definitely board Booboo there when I go on vacation. Very happy with them and definitely would recommend this place.
