Bandera Hill Country Vet Hospital

I called to see if my dog could get in for a laceration to her leg and was instead told she was behind on shots ( even though she is not because we had her updated from a low cost vaccine place). Was then told " we have no openings." I'm super disappointed because Dr. Nightingale is amazing but whoever is answering his phone needs a new job.

This is the best vet experience we have ever had. The staff is the best and make you feel like their only customer. Dr. Nightingale has personally contacted us after we left to make sure our pets were doing well! Our vet bill is as expected and very reasonable! Thank you so much to Dr. Nightingale and his staff! Best vet I've been to hands down. My puppy had been unstable and falling over, I called 6-7 different vet offices and no one could get me in for at least 2 weeks. I called this office and got seen that same day and ironically it was the only vet office that was busy enough to put me on hold for a few minutes. Prices were much better than I expected and we got to the bottom of my dogs issues. Great place!

I took my dog there for his shots. They come out to the car and picked him up and took him inside for his shots. Conrad came out to my car and we had a discussion about my dog. Nice people!

We are new to this area and had not located a Vet for our Yorkie's yet but, looking at medications my dog is on and in the fear of running out I began looking for a vet that I could get him into ASAP. Nothing! Called to see if they could give him enough meds until I could get him in and NOPE! I called Bandera Hill Country Vet Hospital and at first it was a no but, the young lady spoke to the Dr and called me back, they would fill his medication and I just needed to bring in his records. What a wonderful place.they cared that he was on HEART MEDICATION. Thank you BHCVH, see you next month to establish Maxie with you.

The doctors and team at Bandera Hill Country Vet Hospital are professional and genuinely caring and helpful. Besides giving my dogs great routine care and sound advice, they are always available when urgenicies occur (like porcupine quills in my dogs snout.again!). I am so grateful to have access to the expertise and genuine compassion of Dr. Nightengale and everyone on his team.

Dr. Nightingale was more honest and more professional about explaining our dog's disposition. We were given the runaround in San Antonio and I grew up in Bandera my teenage years and I decided what the hell do I have to lose with a second or third opinion. So we went for a relaxing drive to Bandera and Dr. Nightingale gave us everything we wanted to hear. not like the veterinarian doctors in San Antonio which are nothing but gold diggers!

My dog isn't even a year old and they wanted to do evasive surgery in San Antonio. Nightingale gave a very professional assessment diagnosis of our dogs condition. and we will be back for a follow-up visits. I will no longer be using any veteran doctors in San Antonio for any of my pets anymore. Always trust in a Country Doctor they have more compassion and knowledge along with their wisdom of their profession.

And he has a very professional staff there in Bandera! Dr. Nightingale even called us two weeks later to see how our dog is doing on the Medication and well-being of his patients. We are very impressed and glad to have him for our Pets Doctor.

Ms. Bailey (my 7 year old shepherd) just had her first appointment here. I was nervous about finding another vet since my girl had seen the same one for years. I can not express enough how much I love this office already! I love how thorough Dr. Nightingale was and how he actually spent the time to explain things and answer my questions. I agree with the others that this office is a little pricier than others BUT this office is thorough, my other one wasn't. This doctor wants to get to the source of the problem, my other vet just gave Bailey medicine and a wave goodbye. I'm so thankful I found this office!

Shout out to the very helpful and understanding staff! I rescued a great dane a few months ago. Since then he has had some pretty serious health issues. They have been more than helpful and willing to help save this beautiful Dane. Thank you!
