Come meet and visit with our amazing and loving crew awaiting to help you with all of your fur baby needs large and small! Dr. Richardson has worked in the Veterinary profession since 1975. In fact this is the only field he has ever worked in, demonstrating his devine destiny. He has been on the College of Veterinary Medicine Zoological and Wildlife Advisory panel and currently serves as a mentor/facilitator on the Veterinary school's Ethics Panel.Dr. Knight grew up just south of San Antonio near Somerset, Texas.
We are so glad you have chosen us as your animals care provider. It truly is our mission to treat your animal family member the way you want him or her treated, whether we can provide that level, or consultation or referral are required. To help us properly get started in this relationship please provide us with all previous medical records or at least the name and phone number of the clinic(s).
As a new client of our Veterinary Clinic in Bandera, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.

Absolutely the best service I could have imagined. Our dog Avery needed emergency surgery or may have not made it through the night. Dr MacIntosh was so amazing, knew and explained the steps to take to save her and showed so much compassion. She also called me twice a day while my dog was hospitalized to give me an update. Avery is home and doing well thanks to the vets and staff!

My puppy, Bhodi, decided to check out a porcupine early this am. He had a lot of quills, in his lips and mouth. It was so sad to see him like that. Took to Bandera clinic they saw him asap. He was there all afternoon recuperating, picked him up at 1700 all better. They were so nice to me and to Bhodi. Couldn't have got better treatment for my baby Bhodi. Thank You Bandera veterinary Clinic!

I Love everything about Bandera Veterinary. The woman at the Reception desk are always friendly with me, and the vets are always very caring and gentle with my Boyz, and they are very reasonable on their charges. We have been going to Bandera Vet Clinic for over 20 years. It is 50 miles from where we live. We went to see Dr. Richardson when we were in a bind with a pet that needed care. We've been going ever since. A country Vet with staff that is always genuine and caring especially through the most difficult of times. It is a scenic Hill country drive and to me very much worth the distance and extra gas.

Had a scare with our Standard Poodle around 5:15 on a Friday. We were visiting Bandera from out of town. Called and they said head on in. They took great care of our puppy, checked and diagnosed the problem. Luckily nothing serious. Had a great experience with Veterinarian and staff. Great service and relieved they could see us last minute on a Friday evening. Highly recommend.

We have been taking our fur babies there for years and absolutely love them! They take great care of them and are reasonably priced. I have called them a couple of times for after hour emergency calls and they have always been attentive and super responsive, having our pets taken care of in no time. Will continue to take my fur babies there. Recommended my mom to try them and she has since switched to Bandera Vet Clinic. Dr. Richardson and his staff are great!
