Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.

Dr Cauble and his team are GREAT! I have an elderly mutt (85lbs and 14 years old!) and Dr Cauble and his team have been keeping him healthy and happy as his old body ages. 6 months ago, I was sure I was about to have to put my old boy down.and here he still is - healthy and happy! They aren't cheap and 6 (and counting) more months with my boy make it all worth it!

Cannot say enough about Dr C! He's amazing! Kind, thorough and gentle with our dog. He is incredibly knowledgeable and explained things so that we could understand what was happening. He gave us a clear plan of how to treat the dog's pancreatitis. He told us what to expect and when to get alarmed. He wrote out clear and easy to follow instruction. Not inexpensive but worth every penny! Would recommend to anyone!

I'll start by saying I have never written a yelp review in my life. I felt so thankful and moved by Mobile Vet, I decided I had to write one. Our Labrador is older and has some back problems that flare up if he is overly active. But this time when his back issues flared up he barely moved for 3 days. We didn't know how to get him to our vet or an emergency vet because every time we tried to move him he would SCREAM in pain.
Because of this he hadn't used the bathroom in over 24 hours. I decided to randomly google in home vets. After a bit of research I found this company and called sobbing. They were SO professional and SO kind. They only take new clients in an emergency capacity. And even though they were booked solid today they found a way to come out and help us on the spot. Our dog received excellent care and immediate medical attention to alleviate his pain. These people are angels on earth. Highly recommend!

Dr. Cauble and his staff are amazing! They are professional and responsive and keep my pets healthy. I have multiple kitty cats, some with less-than-ideal dispositions. Dr. Cauble and Claudia are able to work on my friendly to feral cats. They come over to the house, set up, I bring my cats in one by one and they get examined and get their shots. It is cheaper than taking my cats to any of the veterinary clinics in the area. Dr. Cauble has performed surgery on my feral cat (he joined my family as part of a TNR program).
I couldn't bring my semi-feral cat in to the brick and mortar veterinary clinic, they straight up refuse to see him. He got beat up in a fight with a raccoon and had a bunch of abscessed wounds. Dr. Cauble and Claudia were able to lance and drain the wounds, then they stuck him with an antibiotic. He recovered almost immediately! Dr. Cauble takes the time to really examine the animal thoroughly.
I really appreciate that Amanda, the receptionist, listens and passes on information to the doctor. She is great! She is not just there to answer phones, she loves animals and works with the rest of the staff to provide an excellent experience. Claudia is super brave and is even willing to extract a mad cat from under the bed. They're a team, and they really give a personalized, comfortable experience.
Just for anyone reading these Yelp reviews- Dr. Cauble and his staff adhere to COVID guidelines: they wear their masks and glove up and use hand sanitizer and take precautions. Amanda the receptionist calls 10-20 mins prior to them arriving and asks everyone to mask up. They arrive wearing masks and gloves. I've seen them like four times since the pandemic began and every time they adhere 100% to guidelines.
I see some woman gave a ranting 1 star review because she suggests that a staff member was unvaccinated and that offended her sensibilities. (Karen thinks the world is black and white. 100% of the population cannot be vaccinated- there are a small percentage of people who for medical reasons cannot have vaccines. If YOU were one of those people unlucky enough to have an immune system that could handle a vaccine, would you want to share your medical history with strangers or would you say "It's a personal choice"?) I have never felt like the doctor or his staff have put me or my family in danger by not adhering to COVID guidelines.
They are methodical, they took precautions and did things like requested we opened windows for better ventilation. The Karens of the world will always find an issue the feel they want to bring to the manager's attention. Point is, Dr. Cauble and his staff adhere to COVID guidelines and never put my safety at risk. The service is great, no matter what issues Karen may feel like she needs to complain about.

There is one reason I am giving this Mobile Vet Service a single star: They have UNVACCINATED assistants come into your home with Dr. Caubel - and they don't ask if that's ok prior, they don't tell you before they enter the home and I would never have known if I didn't ask. I asked her (Claudia) to put her mask on, said I should have been told prior and at least immediately upon me opening the door - especially since I am higher risk and cats can also get Covid! (I have a friend spending a fortune on experimental treatment to try to save her cat).
When I said I was very uncomfortable with Claudia not being vaxxed (she smirked that it was her, "personal choice, " which is such an ignorant, foolish and dangerous choice, especially when you work in a scientific field, go into people's homes, and should frankly know better. The response from the doctor was that they could leave (really?), but I needed my two cats checked since they hadn't been since the pandemic began.
I asked Claudia to sit in the corner chair and to please not touch anything, which she only did after the doctor told her to do so (she didn't do it when I initially asked). She was not needed at all and did absolutely nothing during the appointment but write down a short list of foods the doc recommended, which I was already doing myself. I informed the doc that both my cats were very chill and I usually helped the vet when they needed to be held for shots (I don't even need to do that), but he insisted she stay.
To say this is so completely irresponsible of both Claudia and Dr. Caubel would be an understatement. As I very much liked the doctor, I will likely not use the service again because they don't make me feel comfortable and didn't seem to care. No apologies, or "we should have asked or informed you.," nothing. Their judgement on this matter is highly disturbing. Shame on them.
I mean really, shame on them both. By the way, there are other mobile vets who say on their Yelp pages and their websites that their staff members are all fully vaxxed - I wish I had thought to look for that, I guess I just figured a medical staff would have more common sense. Be safe out there, folks. It's up to all of us to do our part.

I want to thank each and every one of them. Starting with Amanda who got the appointment for me. A total professional and she seemed to genuinely care that my dog needed attention ASAP. And she made it happen. The doctor. Bless your heart. So knowledgeable and calming. Claudia. Patience of a saint. So kind to my dog. He had an infection and they diagnosed it immediately.
Hit it with all the right meds. It's been one day since they treated him and he's already made huge improvement. Thank you. Thank you. The good doc and staff know what they are doing. Did I say thank you? These guys rule.

Champ was adopted about nine months ago and we've helped him overcome most of his fearful issues. But he is still unwilling to get into our car and also had a bad experience during his last visit with our family vet. So we decided to make a appointment with Dr. Cauble to help with Champ's incontinence and fearful issues. Amanda was great to work with in setting up Champ's appointment and establishing his new profile.
She always followed up with any questions we had. On the day of the visit, Dr. Cauble and Claudia arrived on time and explained to us the process of Champ's examination, diagnosis and recommended treatment. It was clear they both knew what they were doing and made the best of the situation for Champ which truly put our minds at ease. We're grateful for Dr. Cauble and his staff for seeing Champ and look forward to their next visit.

Dr Caubel Is wonderful! My golden retriever got really sick over the weekend, and I was unable to find a vet that would give me an appointment to see her, that is if I could even get her in the car, she's weighs about 100 pounds! I called Amanda the minute that they opened, explained to her what was going on with our Sophie, and she called the doctor right away to find out if he could fit us in for an emergency visit. Dr Caubel arrived 45 minutes later!
He has a wonderful bedside manner, spent all the time that Sophie needed to get a thorough check. She needed a minor surgery, that he was able to perform at our house. He was able to get her on antibiotics and get her walking again. He was also able to vaccinate our other dog, due to Covid, I wasn't aware that I had let it lapse. He also spent time discussing her eating habits, putting her on a better diet, her exercise routine as she is nine years old. Is it a bit more expensive then going to a vet, sure, but I was having a bit of an emergency, so it was well worth the money:

Called to get rates. My senior Rottie (who weighs in at about 120lbs right now) is going to need home vet visits as she approaches the end of her wonderful years as my baby girl. This mobile vet's rates for their professional service are completely reasonable. Travel time is excluded (which is expected, electricians & plumbers expect to be paid for travel time so yes I'd expect a DVM to bill the same).
Very polite, quick call back. A mobile vet with some kind of bargain basement pricing is not what I'm looking for. I'll look for discounts for hair/nails etc not the life of my best fur girl.

Dr. Cauble is a dog whisperer. We have a almost 5 year old bulldog that is mouthy. Jethro was snoring asleep mid a physical examination. He gave me all kinds of information. He was so prompt to call the following day reporting good health from the blood work. It was a great visit and we have found our vet for Jethro. Highly recommend the good dr and so happy to have found him.

I grew very dissatisfied with the care my senior cat, Franklin, received from his longtime vet during Covid. When his health continued to deteriorate, dropping him off for another exam wasn't an option, and I was very worried. Thankfully I found Dr. Cauble. He is calm, knowledgeable, compassionate, and skilled at explaining complicated matters.
He provided a more comprehensive diagnosis than the previous vet, and he offered inexpensive treatment options that helped make my cat more comfortable. The exam was thorough, and Franklin remained calm throughout. His assistant, Claudia, and his office staff lead by Amanda, are equally stellar. I have been a pet owner all of my life, and vets like Dr. Cauble are rare. If you are on the fence, don't worry, just make an appointment. I am forever grateful for the care he showed my beloved cat.

We have been using Dr. Cauble and the mobile vet team for close to 10 years now and we really love them. My husband and I tend to adopt older dogs and/or dogs that might need a little more care and Dr. Cauble has been great in helping us help our dogs age comfortably and keeping them healthy. Mobile vet has been there for us in the most difficult times at the end of days for our pups and most recently to welcome our two newest adoptees to the family.
He always explains in detail what is going on with the dogs, what he is looking for and what we should be looking for with our dogs. I appreciate a vet taking the time to educate me so I can care for our dogs. (He even taught me how to administer an IV for my mom's dog to help the dog's kidney functions. ) I appreciate the chance to learn and having good partners to care for my pets.

I've used Dr. Cauble twice, once for my chameleon years ago, yes you heard that right, my chameleon, and just recently to help my poor little kitty buddy cross the rainbow bridge after a cancer battle. I loved Dr, Cauble back when he saw my chameleon, but naturally as a mobile vet he was too expensive for me to see him regularly for my cats and dogs.
A mobile service is a luxury, so to assume he will be affordable or even similar in cost to a normal vet is pretty silly. But let me tell you, he is worth every penny! He is the kindest man, you really feel like your pet is being treated and cared for and focused on. He answers all of your questions thoroughly and clearly, he knows everything! He saw my chameleon because he specializes in exotic pets, and he helped learn how to take care of her while we tried to rid her tiny body of parasites from bad cricket breeding.
She unfortunately didn't make it, but he left me wishing I could afford him all the time for all my animals. It's been about 10 years, and one of my babies got cancer last year, we've spent over 15k trying to figure out what was wrong, and treating his cancer. The last week he went down hill sharply, and it turned out the cancer attacked his kidneys, we knew it was time, and was willing to spend the money to be with him at home, like we all deserve, not cold and alone with strangers at the vet. Having spoken with dr cauble about his diagnosis and treatment I'm left a little sad I didn't see him the entire time with Oliver.
I feel that although he's expensive, I would've have actually saved money, because he's just so intuitive and knowledgeable. I really think you have to consider him a specialist above a regular vet. I will be using him from now on when I can, it's just worth the money, even during covid when I'm not working and I don't have any. Like they say, you get what you pay for. Thank you Dr, for being there for us during this hard time. It was wonderful to get to say goodbye while he was cozy in his home bed with us next to him.

I called to schedule a visit for my two dogs after clearly seeing I was in their coverage zone via the website. When called back this morning, I was told they don't go this far south and that they would have to have the web designer fix the graphic. That qualifies as ridiculously poor service in my book and quite frustrating that they would conduct business in this manner.

Outstanding service. My dog of 3 years has always suffered with allergies that make her itchy and possibly sick feeling as well. As a result she was always anxious, overly sleepy and seemed to have poor vision too. Dropping her at the vet door, Covid style just to get her flea prescription renewed was not an appealing idea. Dr. Cauble and his whole team from appointment making to prescription writing were excellent.
He not only refilled our flea meds but recommended a new diet and prescribed a heaven sent allergy med. my dog is doing remarkably better after only a few days on the med. New diet arrived today and she ate breakfast for the first time in forever. Prior to this she would only eat as a last resort right before bed. I think because she felt lousy all the time and possibly associates the food with feeling worse.
We had tried every kind of protein there was and none of them worked for her. I have very high hopes for her new diet and the meds are clearly making her feel much better. She's far more alert and not itchy. What a joy and weight off my shoulders. I highly recommend this vet and service. How comforting to have my anxious pet seen right here at home! Worth the extra money. Thank you Dr. Cauble and team!

I can't say enough good things about the entire team and of course, of Dr. Cauble himself. I always feel like I am getting the best treatment for my pets by people who genuinely care. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but having them come to my home to do check ups on all my animals in an environment that is comfortable to them, is worth it. Dr. always explains everything he's doing, and why, and conveys all the possible outcomes if there is an issue found.
I have always felt in capable and caring hands with Mobile Vet Housecalls. The staff has always been so diligent and attentive with both me and my pets (shoutout to Amanda for always having to deal with me, lol). Dr. Cauble found some growths in my basset hound a few years ago during a standard exam. He performed a quick biopsy and we found out it was cancer.
He promptly recommended me to a brick and mortar vet he felt would take care of it quickly. Happy to say my Copper has been cancer free for a couple of years now, and we were very happy with his recommendation. Thank you all for caring so much about my babies!

Several weeks ago in the midst of a heartwrenching time with our sweet 15 year old dog, we knew he had come to the end of his life. We made the decision to have a vet come to our home so that our little guy could pass in his favorite spot-the garden. We spoke with our vet who recommended Dr. Chris Cauble of Mobile Vet in Glendale. We called, left a message and their response was timely.
The explanations of each procedure, the care and gentleness was something we will never forget. Dr. Cauble and his assistant couldn't have been kinder. We highly recomend Dr. Cauble not only as a vet, but appreciate him as a sensitive human being.

I recently had to put our 16 year old kitty Lambo to sleep because of kidney failure. Dr. Chris and his entire staff were so kind and understanding about the quality of life concern I had. We tried everything possible at this stage of the disease, but nothing worked. When the time came, the entire process was explained clearly. This is by far the toughest experience that any pet parent has to go through. it was done with gentleness and care, even the post procedure arrangements were taken care of by Dr. Cauble and his staff. I would highly recommend Mobile Vet Housecalls, and they will ALWAYS take care of our pets.

I appreciate everyone at Mobile Vet so much! When I found that my dog was unable to walk, I was able to get an appointment that day. They have answered my millions of questions and even a crying phone call with kindness and patience. Dr. Cauble gave me all of my options and was upfront about the reality of each one. That helps immensely when I am trying to make the best decision for my pet. I would highly recommend!

Loved our experience. Our kitties are getting old & don't travel well. Although this Alternative is quite expensive compared to going in somewhere. It was worth it for us. They won't give you services or meds you don't need. Dr. gives it to you straight and goes over what all of your options are. He was conscious of the expense. His assistants were lovely & The whole thing was very efficient.

Late Sunday evening, I requested for an appointment for my Golden Chow dog who was having skin problems on his belly and behind, eye mucus, and needed nail trimming. This dog is 80 pounds and I cannot get him into the car for the last time he had injured his hind leg trying to jump in the back seat. Enter, Mobile Vet, Dr. Chris Cauble who showed up on Wednesday to treat my dog. Dr. Cauble and his assistant handled my dog with care and was able to identify the skin issues, along with taking blood for a blood panel.
He explained things thoroughly, offered suggestions, and called me the next day to go over the blood panel. I was so relieved to have someone come out to work with my dog in the home. I could tell that he really cares about animals and is very experience in exotic pets. I will continue to have him work with my dog. Highly recommend!

The mobile vet is excellent! I have a semi-feral cat that the normal vet refuses to see. The Doc Cauble and staff make house calls and take care of my little guy and I don't have anxiety that my cat is going to die. This service is excellent, and I recommend them to everyone I know with a pet. All things considered it was cheaper to get a housecall and have all three cats looked at than take time off to take each cat one by one to the vet. I can't say enough good things about this business.
