Scheduled appointments, a solid vet. But if your pet needs same day care (my pup was getting progressively sicker over two days) zero dexterity or standard of care shown by the front-line manning the phones; offered an appointment in four days or the option of going to an urgent care. The point of having a relationship to an office is continuity of care. Care as a tone or solution was absent during my current crisis. Will find a solution I can rely upon for my two dogs.

I scheduled a new patient appointment with Media City Animal Hospital @ approx. 12p on 06/13/2022 for a 06/14 appt. @ 6p. On 06/14 in the morning, I had an emergency which was going to prevent me from making the appointment. I call them promptly at 9:30a to cancel. I was told they would be charging me a $100 cancellation fee. I reviewed their intake forms and nothing is said about a cancellation fee.

I find this action reprehensible and will be disputing the charge with my bank. Response to Owner: If you would like to provide me with what I consented to and discuss this further you can contact me directly. I reviewed your patient intake form and did not see a cancellation policy. As someone who has not utilized your services, this is not appropriate customer service. As a physician, I would never do this to any of my patients.

This is the greatest animal hospital EVER! Been bringing our pets here for years and the top notch care, the friendly staff, and the bright inviting atmosphere can't be beat.

Vets and staff care about you, your animals, and a safe, welcoming facility. Prices are competitive enough for a neighborhood full of well-to-do families.

Dr. Polina Bazlova is hands down the best veterinarian I have ever seen! She is very caring, knowledgeable, and an honest vet. I don't know what else to say but that she is the best and if you were looking for a sign to switch vets here is your sign

I adore this vet office. I live near Santa Monica and make the trek up to Burbank because they are that good. I started coming here based off a recommendation from a coworker and also they were the only office that could fit my cat in for a new patient appointment within a couple days from booking. I originally came here because my cat was ill and needed a PCV to check her out as it was non-emergency.

I loved the service and experience so much I decided to make them my primary vet for both my cats. The office is super clean and the staff are incredibly kind and courteous. All expenses will be detailed for your approval before any action is taken (they provide a low and high estimate for the visit, depending on what they anticipate your pet needing). Dr. Bazlova is AMAZING!

She's so knowledgable and empathetic. She truly listens, provides you with all your options and her recommendations and is happy to work with you to provide the best care that makes the most sense for both you and your pet. And the follow up! I've never had an office be SO attentive both during and after appointments. You truly feel the care they have for their patients. Highly recommend

UPDATE 04/05/22: Lola had a couple teeth extracted and a cleaning. Almost a month post op and she's doing fantastic! The office staff and technicians are always helpful and Dr. Deegan is amazing at what she does. We've been patients for almost a year and will never go to another vet. Cannot thank them enough! 11 MONTHS AGO: Our first time at Media City Animal Hospital and I was blown away by the friendliness of the entire staff, especially Tanya at the front desk, and impressed with the in depth services that the vet provided. Dr. Marino was absolutely amazing.

She made my senior girl feel comfortable and really made sure she got every piece of information about her new patient. We will need to return soon and I feel like my girl is in the best hands possible now. Thank you so much!

I never write bad reviews, especially during this time, but I have to warn people about this place. I took my kittens here and the vet noticed inflamed gums. She told me one kitten would need to be sedated for a cleaning and tooth removal, "best case scenario just a cleaning, worst case scenario he loses all his teeth", and a $1,400 estimate. I was so distraught I called my old vet from Michigan and he gave us way more info and recommended trying food for dental health.

Low and behold, 2 months later both of their gums and tartar levels are back to normal. I had originally taken them in for flea meds and this place was only going to give them a dose for one month. I asked for 3 months' because that's standard given their 30 day egg cycle and they only sent me home with one more months' worth of medication.

I adore the staff at Media City. For our rescue pup's first visit they even had our pup's name waiting for us in the exam room! That small touch is just one of the thoughtful ways Media City has proven that they believe in going the extra mile. Dr. Deegan and Dr. Hu have both made exceptional first impressions on us, and no matter what our issue has been, they've addressed our concerns with care, patience, and compassion.

Between vaccinations, nail clippings, advice on medicine, and preparing our pup for his first flight, Media City has been our reliable pet partner. We're so glad our little pup has this exceptional team taking care of him, and we know they'll be there for him for his entire life! Thank you, Media City!
