Brought my chocolate lab to Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital about a week ago for an annual examination and teeth cleaning. Saw Dr. Dodson who did a through examination of my boy and acquired all pertinent history. She cleaned his teeth (two separate appointments) and recommended treatment for his early arthritis which has been helping him immensely! Received reminder email and text with straightforward instructions prior to the teeth cleaning, as well as follow up texts/email following the appointment. The staff is incredibly friendly, pricing is definitely reasonable, and the service is great! Highly recommended.

My little dog was bitten by a coyote. They let me bring my dog in that morning (first time visit here) and let me know they would check on him when there was an opening that day. I got a call from Dr. Widdop around noon and he let me know what the plan was and potential cost. All went well and my little guy was not seriously injured after all! He got an update on his rabies vaccine and antibiotics with some mild pain meds. He is back to his old self in just a couple of days. Everyone was helpful and thoughtful. As good as it gets!

First visit here was great! My cat had some redness on her gums that I was concerned about in March '22. I brought it up to her (now former) vet & they pretty much dismissed my concerns. The redness persisted & seemed to be affecting a tooth, so I decided to take her to Crescenta Canada Pet Hosp based on a recommendation from a friend. Everyone on staff that day was friendly and kind.
The vet techs were gentle with my girl & I could tell they cared, and Dr Dodson was excellent. She heard my concerns, did a full assessment in a gentle, loving manner, and then made recommendations. Unfortunately my cat will need surgery, but I have no qualms with Dr Dodson performing the procedure based on her knowledge & demeanor. I'll be going to this vet exclusively from now on.

I had been going to another vet clinic, but they joined VCA and everything changed, not for the better and more than double what they used to charge. So it was CCPH, and all the online reviews were great, plus they charge a fair price (although I was prepared to pay more, they seem sensible about it and have a thriving practice). I brought my 11yo cat in, she was not eating and dehydrated, they are taking good care of her.
We don't know what's up with her, but they are trying hard to get her bulked up. Hopefully she will rally and we won't have to deal with the end of her life yet. she is a very dear kitty cat and the staff there really like her and are cheering for her. I will be bringing my other cats here for checkups once this crisis is over.

We've been coming to Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital for 20+ years. BEST VET care for your animal babes in ALL of the LAND. We are so grateful for the Veterinarians and professional staff. We never worry about the quality of care because it's always been 200%. Our Navia was diagnosed with kidney failure a few years ago, CC Pet Hospital put her on track & saved her life.
She turns 17 years old next week and loves her Vet. Purrfect! Our 2-year old Delta loves going for check-ups and is not scared (she was at the other Vets, she's finally settled in here:-)

I brought my pit bull (Cash) here on Monday. He has been puking over the weekend which was shocking as in 3 years he has never been sick. They set him up an appointment. I was worried because Cash had been attacked at a dog park about a year ago and since then has become very dog aggressive and started biting. Bringing him in to an office full of dogs I knew would be very difficult.
They really helped make the experience easy and even allowed me to wait in my car until they cleared out the waiting area so I could bring Cash straight back to the exam room. They handled the situation very professionally and even though he was growling at them they gave him top notch care and were able to convince him to do 2 x-rays. I was certain they would need to sedate him, but they got him to do it by some miracle.
The good news was that he passed whatever was causing him to be sick. They also were able to diagnose him with a heart murmur and enlarged heart something I never would have suspected. They gave good clear advice on what food to put him on that fit his dietary needs (allergic to chicken) and now he is on medication to help his heart. Leaving the hospital was equally as easy as the vet techs called out that Cash was coming and again they cleared out the space so he had an easy exit.
Once we made it back to the car he was all smiles. Overall I was very impressed with the care he was provided. The space was clean and everyone was friendly and informative. We will be back in 6 months for a new set of X-Rays to check on his heart.

Our dog passed away yesterday, but her problems began at this horrific vets office. Giving her a lifetime of health issues, when she came out she was so distraught Like she had been through incredible trauma, with tears streaming down her eyes. This had never happened with Dr Tang at the best care pet clinic. That monster of a vet who saw her seemed a bit strange in his demeanor, I wish I had just walked out. Stay away from this horrific hellscape, keep your furry friend safe.

We just got a puppy and I had heard so many incredible things from this vet just from many friends and locals it was a no-brainer to give them a try. I called and made our pup's first wellness check appointment and the gentleman on the phone was very kind and professional. I was then sent a text with my appointment info, and a link to click on where I would fill in the patient's information prior to the visit.
It was very straightforward, took a couple of minutes, and saves you all that time and paperwork at the counter (also kudos for the paperless, environmentally friendly system). When my puppy and I arrived checking in took 1 second. Their waiting room is very clean and I did not feel uncomfortable sitting in there. Our name was called and we were guided into a room where the lady sanitized the table in front of me and I noticed they were also playing relaxing classical music for the animals which was so adorable.
She took the basics like weight, etc. and then we waited for the doctor. Dr. Baker came in and was so friendly and loving and amazing with our pup. Our puppy loved her. She was very efficient which I loved. Nobody wants to linger for long periods of time in a doctor's office (unless you - then ok), but I don't so I loved that she was efficient yet still ensured my questions/concerns were answered.
We wanted to microchip that day and I was so nervous it would hurt our puppy, but she didn't whine or yipe, I was relieved. I can tell Dr. Baker is a total bada$$. Anyway, I left knowing my new puppy was in great health and was given tips on what to do keep her that way. Also, silly me forgot her vaccine information from the breeder, so we couldn't do shots that day, but they sent me reminders to get this information from me via text and email, I responded and sent them the info, and we made a new appointment to come back for her next shots.
Overall I was very impressed with my experience here. I am looking forward to returning, and I know my puppy will be happy to come back too (she was wagging her tail for the staff when they were talking to her - which I did appreciate that they talked

I have taken my dog there in the over the last year, in on one occasion their medical records were completely in accurate. They have had the wrong date for the issue that was appearing on the medical records when I told him Evan the office manager that it had happened on a different date he kept dancing around the issue. I have called them over two weeks now and have left numerous messages and I keep getting the runaround.
I am very disgusted in the way they have handled the situation rather than picking up the phone and calling me back to rectify the situation Evan who is the office manager has been giving me the run around and keep telling me the office administrator is going to call me back and they never called me back. I don't trust their judgment the medical records for this dog or the situation at all.
I think they're trying to discriminate against me and my dog. I've asked on numerous occasions to get the medical records from the doctors notes and they keep refusing to send them to me when I have a right to get them. I've never met an office treat customers with such disrespect and ignoring them. Also I don't trust their billing process that tell you to go to Billing for one thing how many come back to pick up your dog other bills are on there without your permission. All they have to do is to have someone call me and go to the medical records to rectify the situation that's all I ask for them.

Adored this place for my first dog- he was treated wonderfully. However after adopting my second dog who is one year old and has spinal damage requiring him to use a wheelchair- the vet has remarked not once, but twice, that we may as well put him down. Mind you- this is a puppy with no other health concerns that leads a very happy, healthy life outside of his somewhat limited mobility. Really disturbed and unhappy with our last few visits.

The doctors are excellent as is the Senior Technition. I have brought my two dogs here about four or five times and I believe the advice I received was excellent. I can't give a ten rating because the system of taking my dog in
to see the doctor so that we can discuss freely what is needed has been removed by COVID. I really think that a great deal is lost by this system.
So many people have to work and they may have masks and actually not all of the social distance they should have but people in medical fields rely on phone and Zoom. The medical professionals have been vulnerable on front lines in wars, Typhoid epidemic camps in World War II, and so on. During the HIV epidemic I saw HIV patients before we really knew exactly what the trasmission system was.
Many of my fellow mental health colleagues did the same. We know about masks, social distancing, and
hand washing and sterilizing. The professionals of La Crescenta Canada Pet hospital are restricting in person contact with animal owners in the same way that every Veterinary facility I know of is doing. I would like to see it be different so I save one star in the rating. Still, this is a fine place to entrust your
pet to. May COVID vaccines bring us back to a more personal, intimate treatment system.

The level of care and customer service was outstanding. I was looking for another vet closer to home and remembered my brother used to bring his dog here. So I had made an appointment for one of my pups and it turned out that He needed to be seen sort of as an emergency and they got him in ASAP. They also have sort of a hotline you can call for guidance on whether the issue with your pet is an emergency or can wait which is awesome. I plan on taking all my dogs there knowing the service provided.

My big girl Sasha has many fear issues so when a growth burst behind her ear I knew it would be hard to get her to the vet. The staff here understood and did everything possible to help get her in and fixed up. I received lots of updates and the Vet did her stitches in a way that she wouldn’t have to come back to get them out. I appreciate the fact that they worked with me to make it as stress free for both us and Sasha.
