I'm from out of state so finding an emergency vet was scary. I called MVMC and on the other end of the call was the most kind, calm voice. I was reassured immediately that they could help. My boy is currently in the ICU in the best care available. Dr's & techs explain with detail, answer questions in terms for the lay-person with little or no medical back round.
They call when they say they will. If for some reason contact can't be made at the time that is set, you will be notified by staff prior. This is great bc when you have a sick fur baby is hard to focus in and of itself but when there is a delay on the time you are expecting an update many of us get even more concerned. I'm not certain as I type this review what my big boy's end result may be. I do know this however, he's in THE BEST PLACE. I highly recommend MVMC.

Absolutely useless staff. We have two young pups who get basic veterinary service (basic checks/vaccines) through Vet at your Door, because we live in an extremely rural area. However, vet at your door cannot perform X-rays, other scans, surgeries to include spay/neuter as well as dental. Waterville REFUSES to take animals - not because they don't have the staff, equipment or facilities - but because they want disable veterans to drive 1:30 hours away, while struggling with their own medical schedules, just so Waterville can give them heartworm treatment and basic vaccines. So, it would be the equivalent of getting denied service for spay/neuter because we took our dogs to a travel vet van for rabies. Absolute HORRIBLE customer service and care for folks who need medical services for their animal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND not taking your animals here.

My Labrador got Lyme in summer 2020. I took him to this office and Dr. Balboni examined him and gave me the diagnosis. Dr. Balboni said the medicine would help him recover but eventually his kidneys would begin to fail. Unfortunately that finally happened after 14 months and I had to have my baby put to rest. The care, compassion, and absolute professionalism Dr. Balboni and every one of his staff members gave to my baby dog and me are indescribable.
I appreciate his honest assessment even though I didn't want to accept it but he was correct and clearly knows his job very well. I am thankful to God for the care given to my baby dog during his last months.
