Dr. Freiman was born and raised in New York. He earned his undergraduate degree at New York University. In 1970 he graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. After moving to Connecticut, he founded Apple Valley Veterinarians in 1972. Dr. Freiman's primary responsibilities at Apple Valley are medicine and soft tissue surgery.
Apple Valley Veterinarians is supported by three compassionate and dedicated doctors who are available to diagnose and treat your pets with the love that they deserve. We emphasize continuing education for both veterinary and support staff and modernization of equipment necessary to maintain this standard.

I have been with the Apple Valley team for over 17 years. They have treated every one of my animals with ultimate care and professionalism. When one of my shelties had cancer the doctors and team were open and honest of my dogs condition and didn't push me on alternate treatments that would have not had the positive longevity. When it was time to put multiple of my animals down they were there every step of the way. They are part of my fur babies extended family that truly care about our animals. Thanks to all the Apple valley team for all you do and have done.

Drs. Freeman and Rothstein, and their entire staff, are forever in our hearts, for taking such incredible care of all of our “fur babies” and most recent our Tango. Without a second thought during these isolation days, they admitted him under their watchful eye as he went through a couple of rough days. We thank you always, again and again and again.
