Services
Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. The veterinarians and staff at our clinic are ready to provide your pet with cutting edge veterinary medical care. From wellness exams and vaccines to advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures, your dog, cat or ferret will receive high quality care at our hospital.
No food or water after 11PM the night before surgery and of course also the morning of surgery. We require preanesthetic bloodwork on all pets over the age of 8, and strongly recommend it for all pets, of any age. We do not have someone on the premises after hours. At the Animal Hospital of Clinton-Perryville, we realize that emergencies occur outside the hours of 8 to 5.

Dr. Ross gives outstanding care with genuine concern, enthusiasm and best of all expertise. He is more focused on the health and care of your pet without charging high rates or for care that is not needed. He gives a personal touch with follow up calls and you know it is from the kindness of his heart. He cared for my dog until she passed with the utmost compassion. Now, a year afterwards, I have a new puppy and returned to his great care! He remains the same outstanding veterinarian. I am so glad I chose to go back! It should be noted that because of his demeanor, his staff is equally enjoyable to visit with and really know about caring.

Dr. Ross took excellent care our beloved Lab mix, Emma for the last 7-8 years of her life. He always took time during vet visits and phone calls to explain her lab results, medications and health issues to watch out for. All of the staff were professional and caring for Emma and for our concerns. They are quite wonderful and understanding when dealing with owners who are coping with aging dogs. Sadly, we no longer live close enough to bring our new dog to Dr. Ross, but he was gracious enough to offer me some advice via a phone call when my new dog was having some health issues and I called asking for help - and he was spot on! If you are reading this and you do live close enough to bring your dog to Dr. Ross, lucky you! :

Dr. Ross is so thorough and caring. He lets you know exactly what is needed and answers any questions you have. Because I started coming during the pandemic I've yet to meet him face to face but feel so comfortable and confident that my dogs receive the best care. The staff is so kind and helpful as well. This is a top notch clinic!

I truthfully cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ross and the entire staff! The front desk staff is always so helpful and willing to fit you in for appointments when needed. They take great care of my cat every time and every visit. They always call to follow up and make sure my baby is doing well and if I have any questions which I think is so thoughtful of them. So happy to bring my cat here would never go anywhere else!

The entire staff is very knowledgeable, kind and efficient. It is obvious that they love animals and they enjoy working at the Animal Hospital. The office is run very well, and is always SO clean. We have been bringing our dogs to the practice for 12 years, and have really enjoyed working with each of the veterinarians, but have to admit that Dr Ross is our FAVORITE! Dr Ross always calls with the blood work results the next day, and calls to check on how the dogs did following their immunizations. If I could give TEN stars, I would!
