I have been a long time customer of Dr. Ratti and her team and always felt like I was a valued client until today. My kittens needed to be medicated twice today prior to my appointment which was a five hour commitment. It took me over 45 minutes to catch both of them in their carriers when I arrived 15 minutes late for my appointment was told they couldn't take me.
You really have got to be kidding me! This was a total waste of my day and my kittens were unnecessarily medicated and stressed out for a 40 minute car ride. Very unprofessional and extremely disappointing.

I had my cat seen by Dr Ratti for many years. She is knowleadgeable and personable. The staff appears to enjoy her trust a bit too much and take great liberty in how they treat customers. If you are not careful to be in their graces they will let you know in the rudest ways (e.g. no eye contact or greeting response when arriving for a visit, scheduling a visit on a minor holiday then cancel it the day before with the explanation "the office is closed" without apology, etc).
As with many businesses these days, esp. in the medical field, the office appears to maximize profits by ordering expensive tests which are not always necessary or suggesting questionable treatments (e.g. for food allergy, arthritis). Office would also routinely make it difficult to order supplies (e.g. diabetes syringes) or medications online (significantly cheaper than if purchasing directly from the office) by not calling back the vendor and confirming the prescription.
My cat developed symptoms consistent with urinary infection for about 6 months (straining in the litter box or urinating outside the box, leukocytes and red blood cells in urinalysis sample then also macroscopic blood). Despite bringing her to the office promptly cat ended up dying of advanced urinary infection which had destroyed her kidneys and caused severe pain and suffering.
During this time cat was twice diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystis (which is non infectious) based on urine cultures being negative. When cat eventually passed blood clots in urine I brought her to the office again on a Friday. No doctor was available but I was charged a "technician's visit" fee. Technician's opinion was "this is not good" and "probably cancer". Had to bring her back on Monday, then was scheduled for ultrasound on Tue which revealed severe kidney infection with destruction of significant percentage of the organs.
I highly doubt the accuracy of the urine culture (for infection) results during the preceding months and considering the attitude of the staff I wonder if the urine sample was preserved properly before being sent to the lab). I wish I sought a second opinion when cat was diagnosed with idiopathic cystitis. Some of the test results performed in house were also plain wrong more than once and led to incorrect treatment (e.g. discontinuation of insulin when cat was dependent).

I used the services of this Vet for many, many years. Over time the qualiity of the care for my beloved felines deteriorated. The attiitude of Dr. Ratti and her staff became callous. The place is dirty and shabby and the prices have become sky high. In addition, Dr. Ratti doesn't follow up after major surgury with a phone call and is unavailable, refurring you to a clinic in Fairfield.

I have seen and passed this health center for cats many times over the years. However, I always thought taking my kitties to the 'larger vet clinics' was the better choice. I was mistaken. I should have come to see these very nice and professional people sooner. Dr. "Ratti" was a gem. Her bedside manner, candor, and knowledge was exceptional. And, her staff was undoubtedly top of their profession. Don't make the same mistake thinking bigger is always better. It is not. This "Hometown" Veterinary Practice has my confidence without question - now - and in the future.

I was recommended to Feline Health Center by a friend and I am very grateful he did. This is a practice specifically for cats so their knowledge about our furry friends is outstanding Place went above and beyond caring for my cat: I was nervous but Pat was so calming. Dr: Ratti examined him and ran tests. She called me personally and went over each issue with me so I could understand what was going on. Fair pricing and great service Would recommend to any cat owner who needs a vet.

I called at 3pm Monday panicking as my cat wasn't acting as usual. Initially I was told they were booked unti Wednesday. After I described why I was so nervous they squeezed me in at 5:30 by. The Dr called not once but twice to keep me abreast of what she planned. My cat was in great hands and returned to me by 7:30. I highly recommend FHC, the staff was compassionate and extremely friendly.

We were previous patients of The Feline Health Center but we moved to South Carolina in 2014 and I must say, there has been no vet like Dr. Rhatti. She and her staff are marvelous, wonderful and everything that I look for in a practice. Dr. Rhatti treats diseases progressively and aggressively and she also gives cat parents the tools that are. needed to fight along with your cat.
She also gives many alternatives in which to treat whatever ails your cat. Everyone is knowledgeable and they promptly address you concerns. Everyone is very friendly and so helpful. I just love all of them and I miss Dr. Rhatti and crew so very much. Everybody in the Morristown area who is a cat parent needs to make Dr. Rhatti their vet of choice.
