Our cat Oliver wasn't feeling well and I had the terrible feeling it was somethinf seriously awful. and it was. we were told Oliver was in acute kidney failure. My world was rocked and I couldn't imagine we were about to lose this most awesome cat. Dr. Casulli and Dr. Halihan and all the techs, and staff went above and beyond to get Oliver (and us) through this crisis. I wasn't sure I would be bringing him home, but thanks to the excellent care he received at Animal Care Centers - Oliver is home and doing pretty well. He will need constant monitoring of his kidneys and care at home, but I couldn't be delighted he got to come home. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the exceptional personal care Oliver (and us his human parents) received while he battled this illness. It was extremely stressful on myself, my husband and Oliver, but they went above and beyond to make sure his time in hospital was and comfortable as possible. I was told everyone loved him and he got lots of love and even brushed. So thank you to everyone who cared for our precious boy during this crisis and going above and beyond to save and stabilize him. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion, professionalism, and care excellence. I will be eternally grateful. Simply the very best veterinarians and staff ever. Love you all.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this veterinarian office! From the receptionist to the techs and doctors, each person is amazing! They care so much about your pet, they absolutely treat them like their own. One of my pups is very skittish and scared, every person who interacts with her gets down to her level to make her comfortable, literally the vet gets on the floor!
I'm shocked every time even though I know that's how they are, they care.a lot! They take the time to make your pet as comfortable as possible and are not quick to poke and prod or suggest surgery. They are simply the best! Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of Stabler and Liv!

I can't say enough good things about them, dr. Hallihan and dr. Casulli are the best best best vets I've ever had. And without question, their professionalism and care trickles down to their staff. No matter who you get on the phone, it's always a friendly voice and sincere desire to help care for your pet. Every time I've thought it was the end for my dog, these doctors have jumped to keep up on his progressive illness and prescribe the right medicine that has given my dog more quality time with us.

Highly recommend this practice. We've been using them for years- usually for routine services like shots and nail clippings for our dog, and hoof trimmings for our pet pig. Recently we had an emergency. Our dog, Cookie, cut the pad of her foot deeply. The staff at animal care centers was able to talk us through how to properly care for her until we could get her there in person.
They then took care of her in person when we were able to bring her in. They're always friendly, accommodating, and informative. They're animal-centric instead of money-centric like many other local practices. They follow COVID protocols. We feel that our pets are family members, and Flanders Animal Care Center treats them that way!

Went there for the first time with my cat Lucy for a general check up and ear cleaning/inspection and had a really pleasant experience with the entire staff. Professional from front end to back end. Both the vet aid and Dr. Cindy Weagley were gentle with Lucy, knowledgeable about her conditions, and kind to me. I plan on making them my primary veterinary office for regular check ups and visits.
They're affordable, provide excellent care and the facilities are really clean. They also take all the necessary precautions with covid as well so no worries there. Thanks again to the staff at Animal Care Centers.

The kindest people in the world work here! They've done everything they can to see us in emergencies and are extremely gentle and caring with animals. They've been our regular vet for our guinea pigs since we got them as babies. They take such good care of our fur babies and I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for them when they're sick. Dr. Hargadon and Dr. Hallihan will always have my family's gratitude for their kindness and compassion!

I would like to give a huge thank you to Dr. Hallihan and his entire staff for taking such good care of our beloved cockatiel during a recent illness that caused him to board there for several days in isolation. This was our first time meeting them and despite the current COVID protocols that preclude face to face meetings, they nevertheless did everything possible to keep us informed of our pet's condition and progress even sending a text message with a picture of him in the cage which they provided.
That relieved so much anxiety for us. And they were so attentive and kind to our pet. I understand they even played videos of birds for him so that he would not feel lonely! So awesome and compassionate! Thanks again for the great care you provided to all of us!

The global situation currently happening has certainly disrupted some home lives (including mine) but this Animal Care Center has been Holding. It. Down. Wonderfully. I took my dog (Daisy) in for a strange odor and an employee spotted an ear infection right away. The technician who handled Daisy was extremely kind and compassionate to us and our pet - you get the sense that they're passionate about the animals.
Apparently their business has (fortunately) been busier lately, but after a small wait we were taken care of right away. No hassle and great service. Definitely coming back if the situation arises. Thank you guys!

This review is long over due. Our dogs have been patients at Animal Care Centers for over 14 years. Throughout this time the doctors and staff have always provided excellent care with equal amounts of compassion. They have always been available 24/7 for emergencies, advice and guidance. They have helped us to say goodbye to a much loved family member and welcome a new member into our family.
Yesterday they were there for us once again when our 16 month old Lab suffered heat stroke after playing outside in the sprinkler for a short time. They took him in right away and provided emergency care that likely saved his life. I have always been grateful to have this practice nearby, today even more so.

I can't emphasize enough how amazing the Dr (who I believe is the owner too) and staff were at this vet. I have a LOT of animals, worked at a few animal hospitals long time ago, and been to a LOT of different hospitals for my pets care and this one has surpassed them all. I had an emergency where my ferret was straining to pee and without hesitation the Dr told me to come in.
He then did everything he could to figure out the issue, and rectify the immediate problem. It didn't stop there, I waited till the am and the another doctor and staff called for a sonogram that day to help us move forward. They were nothing but honest, respectful, and clearly care for the animals which is sadly rare. Even though they were not comfortable doing the surgery needed, they researched and called specialists all over the tristate area to get my ferret the care he needed.
The specialist was really far so even after the surgery my little guy pulled out a staple and the Doctors and staff squeezed me in and helped fix the half removed staple! This is now my primary vet. Thank you both Dr H's and staff for everything!

My wife's cat has been scratching for awhile and recently has had stomach issues. This cat is difficult to get in a carrier as she was from a shelter and hates cages. We scheduled an appointment on Monday for Friday and even took off work. When we arrived they had no knowledge of the appointment and although we could show the exact time and length of the call on our phone they were not helpful at all.
Another past visit they ran the wrong test for the cat and said the only option was to bring her back to redo it. They seem to be lacking detailed focused employees so I recommend staying away from this place.

Dr Halahand and Monica at Anmial Care Center in Flander made our experience great. This was our first time going to the doctors with our pet boston terriers during the COVID-19 we were very nervous because we are normally in the office with them. However it was a great experience because Monica kept us informed and explained everything after the visit.
During the visit doctor Halahand called us on my cell to advise and discuss what he found with our boys. Wow what a treat team they really treat you like family i love going to them and would give them more the 5 stars if i could. Thank you for all the great work and kindness. We really appreciate it

Dr. Villari was sarchastic towards me as he refused to euthenize my dog. My dog is 14 years old and I love her to death. But she is incontinent for more than 6 months and getting worse, tripped and fell on her face twice while I was walking her to the car, is nearly deaf, wanders around as if senile an hour or so each day, and only sleeps otherwise.
She is not happy (I know because I've owned her for her whole life). I spoke with the office twice before bringing her in and they said they would take care of it when I arrived, at the end of the day, which is what they have done for me at this office 5 times since I've lived here over 30 years. After a 45 minute wait, Dr. Villari insisted on evaluating my dog first, then refused to euthenize her, saying "she's a healthy dog. She's just a little unstable" And then, when I tried to tell him the reasons, he interrupted me, sarchastically telling me I wanted this done for my own convenience. Sadly, I left feeling it wasn't the place I had experiences over many years: one that trusts and shows compassion towards an owner who is already extremely upset over his pet's health and making this very difficult decision, like they used to do here. UPDATE: Dr. Hallihan called me that evening and was very apologetic and kind. He also took care of Maggie the next day and was very kind, as was the staff. I am grateful and look forward to being able to keep my animal Care here.

DO NOT USE DR. VILLARI. My dog had pneumonia that progressed under his care to pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension. When things got critical, I suggested taking her to Oradell Animal Hospital and he said it would be fine if we took her home for the night and brought her to Oradell in the morning. He promised that he would be available all night if an emergency arose.
We were smart enough to not listened to his advice, but asked for him to include the x-rays in the paperwork they gave us. When we got her to Oradell an hour later, they said she had a 40% chance of surviving the night ON OXYGEN. We realized that we didn't double check that his staff included the paperwork in our haste to get to the hospital and the x-rays were not there.
To top things off, the doctor who promised he would be available was not. We tried calling him multiple times throughout the night because my dog was not stable enough for another set of x-rays. She was in Oradell for 9 days, on oxygen for 8 of them. Luckily, she survived (with some permanent damage). Our bill was under $16,000. Most of this could have been avoided had Dr. Villari been competent.

I have been going to animal care centers for yeas. The staff is so nice and caring. I have taken all four dogs there. Back in Match I had to put my Napeleon down. It was so hard for me. Dr. Valere and the entire staff were so caring and kind. They were with me the whole time and comforted me. It was tough. Now I have a new puppy that I bring there too. I highly recommend the practice. All the vets and techs are great and so close by.

After a deadly diagnosis (no testing done or xrays) my dog received at her prior vet (will no longer go back) and being told they would not help me because I couldn't afford the 30% down of an estimated bill. They then pretty much turned their backs on my "dying" dog. The following morning I called Animal Care Center in Flanders and spoke with Jillian.
She immediately told me to bring my dog there and let's look at her and get her treated. We saw Dr. Hallihan who was WONDERFUL with us. He did bloodwork and an X-ray which showed it was not a deadly illness it was gastritis. Simple problem simple fix and my dog is almost 100% back to her old self and my bill was a fraction of what the other dr told us. We obviously have a new vet and so happy with the care, concern, and time they took with us. They all are a caring wonderful group.

My first visit here was very welcoming and I was very excited to find a vet closer to home. My dog had breathing difficulty and wheezing so I took him for a second visit here at this visit they weren't as friendly. The doctor recommend a x-ray and told me something going on in the lungs and I should get a Ultrasound so I agreed to one. The next day I received a call from Dr. Hallihan he told me my dog had DCM a heart condition and that there is fluid in his lungs.
My baby needed his Taurine levels checked come back in for a injection of a diuretic and was put on 3 different medications for the heart. After a few days of no improvement and breathing getting worst I called back left 2 messages no return call. I called the after hours line and Dr. Hallihan returned my call told me to come in on Thursday or Friday for another x ray. Friday I brought my Baby in had Xray and Dr. Villari diagnosed him with a bacterial infection gave him a injection of Ampicillin and put him on 10 days of claramox.
When I asked about the fluid in the lungs he ask me who said there was any fluid because he didn't see any. I ask for a copy of Ultrasound. The following week I spoke to Dr. Hallihan about the fluid in the lungs and why his partner had a different diagnosis. He asked to hold on to review the Xray again and came back on the phone to tell me he is concerned it might be cancer.
I should follow up with a cardiologist was his recommendation and we will talk tomorrow that was a week ago with no follow up from him or his office. My baby 's breathing kept getting worst so I rushed him to the American Animal Hospital in Randolph. First of all they stayed open for us the Doctor did a Xray diagnosed the Lung cancer read all his prior results and took him off all the heart meds.
His heart condition is borderline. The Doctor asked me to film and count Marleys breaths and email him. The very next morning he called me back. My heart is broken knowing that I will lose my boy but I feel so disappointing in the care he got here. All the extra testing and medication that were not needed also the lack of compassion and follow up.
Today I called because I am still waiting for the Taurine Bloodwork result and was asked "the doctor wants to know how Marley is doing?"when I said he was diagnosed with lung cancer and that was disappointed with the care he got. Her respond was I will call the lab and find out why we haven't gotten the results back. As I sat there I have to say I have never seen so many people come in to pick up medications for their dogs I feel this place only cares about selling you unnecessary test and medications.

Don't bother. The Vets tell you things that are not true. The wait time is unbearable, and the staff would rather talk on their phone, than ask the person in front of them if they could be of service. Dr. Vallari doesn't remember the instructions he has given. Nor do they know what the visit is for. The practice is too large, and you become lost in the huge practice.

The doctors and staff took wonderful care of my Labrador Retriever for 13+ years. Always calling to follow up after a sick visit and reachable after hours whenever we had a problem. In the end when it was time for us to say goodbye they were once again compassionate and accommodating. We will be back again once we are ready to adopt again.
