Sea Girt Animal Hospital first opened its doors in 1958 by Thomas Sollas, VMD. He converted the existing building into a veterinary hospital and completed two additions over the next 10 years. We were the only animal hospital in Wall Township and the surrounding area for many years. Marilyn Weber, VMD became an associate following her graduation in 1975 and purchased the practice from Dr. Sollas when he retired in 1988.

I have been a customer here for quite a while now.when I needed a more compassionate vet, one was at the ready. Just a few day ago I had to bring my baby to his final resting place.the staff, the vet.the most amazing and beautiful people in the world. Thank you for your kind and gentle hands.being with my baby was so important as he was a reactive rescue.he needed.or I did.to see me and run free without restraints for once. Love you all

Sea Girt Animal hospital is a revelation! Specifically, I brought my cat to see Dr. Ackerman. Recently, all the doctors I've dealt with have been kind of robotic and rushed. In this time of COVID-19, humanity seems to have been eliminated. That's why Sea Girt Animal hospital, and specifically Dr. Ackerman, have restored my faith in office visits! Dr. Ackerman took his time with my cat, giving a full exam. He then took his time explaining things to me in a human, thoughtful manner. Simply put, this guy is a GREAT DOCTOR!

I was so afraid when my 8yr old dog suddenly had a medical issue. I called Sea Girt Animal hospital to see if they can see my dog. They were so accommodating and within an hour i was at the hospital. My dog was evaluated and tests run. The veterinarian, tech and staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was so happy when i left. I would definitely recommend this practice to everyone.

I called this morning at 9 am because my older dog had a bad skin infection and was seen by 9:30. The staff was wonderful and Dr Friedman took her time explaining what was to be done and took great care of my dog who was a mess with skin wounds and in terrible pain when trying to touch him. They shaved all affected areas, cleaned up the wounds, and applied ointment, gave him shot of antibiotics, and complete instructions on aftercare once we got home. He is so much more comfortable now. Thank you for taking Scrappy right in and providing excellent care.

Great staff to work with. I had an appointment with them at 3pm to bring my cat in since she has not been acting the same. Due to the traffic on Friday I was late for my appointment. They still took my cat in and did an exam on her plus blood work. The Dr. and her assistant were great to my can. My experience was great. I would definitely reccomend Sea Girt Animal Hospital

I absolutely love Sea Girt Animal Hospital. This is by far the only place I trust to take my pets. The staff is so friendly, and accommodating. The techs, and doctors are polite, they are also very up front and to the point on what needs to be known, and how to handle it, but in such a great manner that you feel comfortable putting your pet in their hands. I couldn't ask for a better more informative and appropriate vet.
