To accomplish this, we will always keep the well-being of your pet in mind. The Delavan Lakes Veterinary Clinic is a non-corporate family owned practice, and has been providing pet care since 1979. The current facility was built in 1994 and was recently renovated to provide the latest in comfort and care for you and your pets.
We are very proud to have a talented group of the very best veterinarians in our region. Please feel free to contact them with any questions that you might have through our office. Each vet is accomplished in his/her practice and specializes in specific portions of veterinary medicine. Our veterinarians spend many hours each year attending educational seminars, meetings, and conferences to further their knowledge in the care of pets. This allows them to provide the best care to your pets. Dr. Chris Hartwig is originally from a small town in Minnesota near the Twin Cities.

MY BUNNY DIED! This Vet shows false pictures of care. I brought my bunny that was my Emotional Support Animal. My little girl to be saved by them and they turned me away. They said there wouldn't be a Rabbit Dr until 2 days later. They didnt even try to look at her at all! That is not enough time to help a bunny in GI Stasis. I even begged for critical care if they wouldn't see her and they said no, not without a exam and that couldn't be dome until 2 days later with the Rabbit Dr.
She doesn't do good in car rides and they said the only place I could go to was Madison. That was to far away, I knew she wouldn't make it. I blame them for not trying to help me save my animals life. I will never forgive each and everyone of you.

We started bringing our dog Annie in as a senior dog. DLVC doctors and staff always took good care of her. They have always been easy to reach and helpful with all our questions and concerns. For our last visit to say goodbye to our sweet girl DLVC was thoughtful, kind, patient and made the experience peaceful for us all. Thank you for all that you did for us, we will continue bringing our pets here for the great service and helpful staff.

Took my dog there for his eye when he had to be checked for a incident. They said he had allergies to dunce his eye out and give him allergy meds so I did. I gave the dog to someone and now they say he might need surgery. They should of known this when I took him in a year a go for this. They don't examine the animals properly because if they did they would if known this when I first took him in.

My dog has allergies with frequent ear and skin infections that cost $$$ to treat with frequent office visits They charge 50% more for Apoquel than Walmart ($90 vs $50 for a 30 day supply). They will not fax or call in a prescription refill, you have to go pick up a paper prescription. If you call in with a concern (weaning Prednisone) you will be communicating with the vet through a technician. The vet does not speak to you directly. That is, if they call you back at all the same day which they did not. #nolongeraclienthere

Dr. Kevin Hartwig has been caring for my cat, Leo, for awhile now. He is so incredible, not only with his care for animals, but his knowledge and customer service as a whole. It's heart-warming to find a vet that cares for my pet the way I do. He's punctual, extremely professional, and super loving towards Leo. Having a clinic, such as Delavan Lakes, has eased the stress of taking my cat to the vet when troubles arise. I'm super thankful to have found a clinic with all the great qualities you hope for when finding someone to care for your pet!

It's a bit of a drive for us but the experience makes up for it. Staff are helpful, positive, and knowledgeable. Techs and Dr are patient and accommodating with appointment needs for our cats and dog. If they cannot help for the health issue they offer great recommendations for other great facilities (to do tests, surgery, etc).

DLVC is my favorite vet clinic! From the front desk staff to the top notch vets, I have always been comfortable with every treatment and decision I have made with our pets. I have had pets with complicated medical issues and they have always received the most amazing care. The treatment plans are clear and effective, the prices are fair and reasonable, and communication has always been easy. Dr Kevin and Dr Chris always go above and beyond for their patients and I always know they actually care.
