Routine wellness exams are a critical part of your pet's healthcare routine to maintain their wellbeing and detect any medical issues before they progress. During your pet's wellness exam, we will conduct an in-depth, nose to tail examination and advise you on all aspects of your pet's care. Lake Geneva Animal Hospital offers a wide range of advanced surgical services, from basic spays and neuters to soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. During your pet's procedure, their safety and comfort are our top priority.

Dr. Scot earned his veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993, finishing top in his class. His interests include general and orthopedic surgery, endoscopy and ultrasound. Dr. Scot can perform many of the advanced procedures which are typically done only at referral hospitals.
Acupuncture services are offered at our Lake Geneva office by Dr. Terri Schreiner and at our Walworth office by Dr. Kelly Roy. Acupuncture is a form of Chinese medicine that may be used alone or in conjunction with Western medicine. Dr. Schreiner has found that it works well in patients who have trouble handling or cannot use pharmaceutical therapy.
Lake Geneva Animal Hospital performs the majority of specialty surgeries once only found at referral-type veterinary hospitals. We are constantly implementing new techniques and procedures to stay on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. For example, we have extensive experience utilizing endoscopic equipment which creates smaller incisions and less post-operative pain. It has always been part of our philosophy that we will do as many procedures "in-house" as possible rather than sending our clients hours away.

If you are in need of alternative payment arrangements please discuss that prior to completion of services.* I hereby authorize the veterinarian to examine, prescribe for or treat the above described pet(s). I understand that all animals must be current on vaccinations and testing for hospital procedures.

Was in for my dog's shots and wellness check. At first two of the girls tried drawing blood from him in the room which he was not having, but I mean, normal response. Then took him out of the room and either they truly don't care what the animal owner can hear or they thought I couldn't hear one saying STOP! STOP! to him, in a tone as if she was angry at him.
Then another one must of walked by and saw he was being resistant and said aw, but he is a cute pup and one of them said, no he is not! Terrible experience with those two. After doctor came in it was fine, she was nice, and the help that came after was fine too. Still will not be returning.

We absolutely love LGAH. The amazing drs here care so deeply about their patients and their patient's parents. We have always had an amazing experience here. They are great listeners and understand that what we see at home isn't always what they see in the office. Highly recommend. ~Milo and Riviera's Mom

Wonderful caring drs! Great place to take all pets, and I feel there loving care of all three of my greyhounds lengthened their healthier lives (and mine) with the love of a dog that trusted the vets and staff. He liked to go see them on all appointments. When they start taking human patients, I'm in!

Fantastic place! Staff are all nice and Dr. Scot is amazing! Went in for surgery on my kitten, Piper, and got a call back about an hour later saying she no longer needed surgery and her leg is healed! She's got a minor break that still needs about 3 weeks, but WOW. He even showed us the xrays to ensure we seen how the leg was looking. Thank you all for all you do. Very clean place too and the kittens for adoption are sooo adorable!

Waited in the room for an hour one day because they had forgotten me but were very busy. Then after my appointment went home and called them because I had some questions, and NO return phone calls from the Tech or Vet. I called twice and left messages. On a better note I think this Veterinarian Dr Dowell was very thorough and reassuring in his treatment.
They did a great job cleaning the wound area. I think he may not of thought I was doing a good job cleaning the area but he gave me no instructions on what to do, he just said don't let her lick the area. I was afraid to to do something that I shouldn't when cleaning it. I didn't want to cause it to bleed or make things worse. That was the reason I called him, to see if I could clean it. I NEVER got a return call. Anyhow other then that, all is good. My baby is getting better and that I'm grateful for.

Honestly I don't do many reviews, but this place is seriously awesome and deserves one! Everyone was so friendly and treated my girl like she was so loved! They were very informative and has the best intentions for your pup. They were not pushy on anything, which at other vets I felt like they pushed things I didn't want to get done right away. They even gave us a follow up call to check on Stella, which is something I've never had a vet do. I appreciated that so much. Also the pricing here is affordable. Overall 10/10 with this place. Don't hesitate going here, it will be worth it!

My calico cat has never been a very willing patient. She has required more than just yearly visits to the Vet since developing a thyroid problem ( trying to get the dose of medication right for her). The staff have been very understanding and deal very well with her while providing the care she needs. I have had 2 other cats in the past and they were both pretty good patients.
It was an eye opener seeing how our current cat behaves so I really appreciate how professional she is handled and how reassuring they are to me. Since moving to Wisconsin 9 years ago, this is the only Vet service I have used. I did not know how to go about picking a Vet so I asked several customers before they entered the building how they liked the Business.
I got very positive responses and they were from people who had been using the clinic for years. So now I pay it forward by writing this review. I Thank them for all that they do for pets!
