I've been going here for maybe a decade. Dr Wharrie is wonderful. His calmness and kindness seems to help with my stressed out animals. And he takes the time to really explain everything and answer all my questions. When there are options, he tells me pros and cons, and I trust him. All the techs are also great.

Dr. Heckerling took care of our dog Daisey since she was a puppy until she passed at 13 years. She had many medical issues and I could always rely on his care of her being the best. He also saw her through a few surgeries and her care was excellent. Now we have two new pups and live in New Hampshire and find our established trust with Middlesex County Animal Hospital is worth the extra travel.

I was very happy with Dr. Wharrie and staff at this clinic. Wharrie was very dedicated to helping my cat Mr. Tumnus. He was very kind and informative. I never felt pressured into any sort of treatment and never felt like I had to just blindly trust what they were doing when I did opt into treatments. Wharrie would usually call within a day or two (or week if waiting on lab results) and give me an update.
Sometimes these calls would come later in the evening: I'm on my couch relaxing after a long day and he's diligently working to find my cat the best food for his kidney issues! That's dedication! (Wharrie if you're reading this, don't burn yourself out dude!) Overall, I felt very comfortable taking my boy there and am sad we had to leave Dr. Wharrie behind when we moved. 10/10 highly recommend. I'll also note that their prices also seemed fairly reasonable.
