Dr. Hunt is a gem. He has an approach that makes even our very fearful dog less so. He takes excellent care of our pets, is knowledgeable and thorough. Horizon has fair prices and doesn't add on services just to pad the bill. I feel confident that if anything is recommended by Dr. Hunt, it is actually needed.

Dr. Dowdy and his staff are the best. I have been to several vets and this vet clinic is the best. I trust what Dr. Dowdy says and his expertise with animals is wonderful. If you need a vet that you can trust, look no farther.

Needed a vet in the area and as a new customer I was concerned I wouldn't be able to get an appointment on shot notice. To my surprise they managed to get me in that same afternoon. My dog received top notch care from the very friendly staff. No wait time in the lobby and the vet and assistant were very attentive in the room and wrapped up in a very timely fashion, yet felt an adequate amount of time and effort was given to us to ask questions and understand the diagnosis.

I was shocked to get lab results back for a fecal sample that same day. Picked up the medication prescribed on the way out the door. Pricing was very fair compared to my previous vet. Would defiantly recommend.

After a day at the emergency vet it turned out my dog had pancreatitis. They said to find a local vet for more tests and a new food. After my first 5 minutes at Horizon I knew my dog would be taken care of. Thank you Dr. Dowdy and staff for being so amazing!

The folks at Horizon have always been exceptional and helped with my pets specific needs. Through 3 different family pets they have been warm and caring. They answered all of my silly questions and sat close during end of life decisions. I will continue to take all of my pets there. Knowledgeable and dependable care always. Thank you Horizon.

We've been going to Horizon Vet for about 15 years now. The quality of care our pets have received has been exemplary. Everything from new kitten exams to end of life care hasbeen done with tenderness and compassion. You can really tell these guys love animals.

Very intricate ladies. I'll have a chat with them now and then and they are very communicative and friendly. All the while still attaining to their job foremost! Atmosphere is clean. They are very attentive towards people and animals.

Staff is welcoming and professional. They gave me a follow up call the next day to check on my cat (thought that was really nice). My cat had semi watery poop and got better within one day.

First visit with Horizon clinic was exceptional. The staff was very helpful and answered initial questions I had. Dr. Hunt is very professional and you can tell he cares about his treatment of our dog. We look forward to having our pet looked after by Horizon.

My dog became very ill 2 days before Christmas and we ended up taking him to a different vet which happened to be a hospital. We were told he had salmonella in his system. Horizon vet did not want to see him or treat him. I am out almost $11,000.00 for hospital bills since we were told by the hospital this is something out regular vet could have taken care of.

Horizon could have seen my dog and treated him but chose not to. This could have killed my dog. This place is not a safe place or responsible place for any animal or human. Please take care of your pet by not bringing them here.

He spent a week there and they made him so comfortable and loved it was like he was with family.

I've been going to Horizon for over 30 years. They are always caring and professional. It's also a family business, since Dr. Evan Dowdy's daughter Elyse is now a DVM and member of the practice. I would recommend them to anyone needing compassionate and competent veterinary care.

We have two new puppys in 2021 and picked Horizon for their care. I have been so happy with how thorough the vets and staff are. They are patient with all my questions. I know vet clinics have had a tough time during the pandemic and appreciate they are still there for us.

We have taken our two dogs to Horizon Veterinary Clinic for several years. Their facility is spotless and the people are kind and helpful. They take wonderful care of the animals in their care. One of our dogs recently had to have surgery to remove a broken tooth. The process from beginning to end was great. I really appreciated the thorough discharge instructions that we were given. I would highly recommend this vet!

Changed to this vet clinic from Evans East due to moving to a new area. They are AHAA certified which is important to me but mainly they have great vets and staff. They care for your pets and take time to listen to your concerns. A great place!

Awesome staff! Very caring and compassionate. Treated our beloved Sierra with the utmost care. We can't say enough wonderful things about these amazing animal care givers!
